The Ahmedabad City Police are responsible for law enforcement and public safety in Ahmedabad, India. They are a subdivision of the state police force of Gujarat, and are headed by a commissioner. The Ahmedabad police force is responsible for the protection and safety of Ahmedabad citizens.

Apart from 48 regular police stations, the Mahila Police Station was established to deal specifically with women's offenses and issues. It functions under the Crime Branch and is headed by a police inspector. There are two Mahila Police Station. Fourteen traffic police stations have been set up to deal with traffic-related issues.

Shri A.K. Singh is the current Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad City.[1][2]
