Argari is a census town under Sankrail police station in Sadar subdivision of Howrah district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Argari had a population of 9525. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Argari has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
