The Hella Mega Tour is the upcoming co-headlining tour by American rock bands Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer. The tour was announced on September 10, 2019 and includes dates from March to August 2020.

Background

On September 10, 2019, all three bands simultaneously announced the tour and new music.^[1] On the same day, each band also released a new single: Green Day released "Father of All..." and announced its 13th album, Father of All Motherfuckers; Fall Out Boy released "Dear Future Self (Hands Up)" and announced its second compilation album, Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die – Volume Two; and Weezer released "The End of the Game" and announced its 14th album, Van Weezer.^[2]

Overview

A total of 46 tour shows, played over five legs in 22 countries, have been announced. All three bands will perform at 29 shows, Green Day and Weezer will perform at an additional five, and Green Day alone will perform at an additional 12. The venues consist of indoor and outdoor arenas, exhibition halls, and other outdoor venues. The Interrupters will serve as the opening act during the North America leg of the tour.^[3]
