Isaiah 2 is the second chapter of the Book of Isaiah in the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament of the Christian Bible.^[1]^[2] This book contains the prophecies spoken by the prophet Isaiah, and is a part of the Book of the Prophets.^[3]^[4]

Verse 4

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.^[7]

Verse 5

O house of Jacob, come and let us walk

In the light of the Lord.^[8]

The first part of this verse in Hebrew: "בית יעקב לכו ונלכה" Beit Ya'akov Lekhu Venelkha ("House of Jacob, let us go [up]") forms an acronym "Bilu" which becomes a name of a movement in Israel.
