Jackson Township is one of fourteen townships in Dearborn County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,705 and it contained 624 housing units.[3]

History

Jackson Township was organized in 1832.[4]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.72 square miles (64.0 km2), of which 24.67 square miles (63.9 km2) (or 99.80%) is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 km2) (or 0.20%) is water.[3]
