  1. ^ Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They acknowledge several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Celine Dion is a Canadian singer. Throughout her career spanning four decades, she has received numerous awards and nominations for her work primarily in music, as well as in film, fashion and philanthropy. She has won 20 Juno Awards, making her the fourth most awarded artist in the award show history. With 50 wins from 95 nominations, she is the most awarded artist at the Felix Awards.[1][2] She has received stars from the Hollywood Walk of Fame (2004), Canada's Walk of Fame (1999) and Kraków's Walk of Fame (2008).[3]

At age 12, Dion released her debut single "Ce n'était qu'un rêve" in 1981, which marked the beginning of her career. She competed at the Yamaha World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo the following year and won the top prize for her song "Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi". She gained international recognition after winning the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, where she represented Switzerland with "Ne partez pas sans moi".[4] The following year, Dion won her first Juno Award for Female Vocalist of the Year. With the release of her English-language debut album Unison, she became the first French Canadian artist to win both Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. She then released her self-titled album in 1992 which earned Dion her first Grammy for the song "Beauty and the Beast", winning Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. In 1997, she won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album for her fourth English-language studio album Falling into You.[5][6]

Dion won her first six Billboard Music Awards in 1998 for her album Let's Talk About Love and song "My Heart Will Go On", which also won the Grammy for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. In 1999, she became the first Canadian to receive the UNESCO Artist for Peace title and was the third musical artist to be inducted into the Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame.[7] In 2008, she was presented with the honorary Legion of Honor, the highest French order of merit, by former French president Nicolas Sarkozy. In 2013, she was elevated to the Companion of the Order of Canada, the highest level of the Order of Canada. Her musical contributions have also earned her the Chopard Diamond Award in 2004, Billboard Icon Award in 2016 and two honorary doctorate degrees from Université Laval (2008) and Berklee College of Music (2021).[8][9]
