Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), is a society which runs cricket in India and is a full member of the International Cricket Council, the international governing body of cricket. It is made up of 30 affiliate members, some representing Indian States, some representing former Princely States and three central bodies – the Railways, Services and All India Universities.[1] The 30 affiliate members include 27 playing members and 3 non-playing members, All India Universities, Cricket Club of India and National Cricket Club.[2] States are divided into zones, depending on their location in India, Central zone, East zone, South zone and West zone.[3]
