Elections to the local bodies were supposed to be held in October 2016. But the edappadi government are not holding these elections suspecting a massive defeat hence are seeing ways to postpone elections, they are talking about delimitation of wards for the past one year as a result dengue malaria and viral infections broke out in 2017 killing scores of people including women and children of Tamil Nadu but the present government is unmoved, grant from the centre close to the tune of 2000 crores has gone back leaving the poor and needy in disbelief.Even the Modi government is watching without any stringent action taken against the government for the welfare of the Tamil people, the honourable supreme court is yet to pronounce it's verdict even after 17 months. The people of Tamil Nadu are left without sanitation without relief under the scorching sun. We don't require such government where the welfare of the people is compromised because of deep political motives.
