The Qamishli clashes (2021) are ongoing clashes between the forces loyal to Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the forces loyal to Syrian Government in the northeastern Syrian city of Qamishli.

Clashes

The clashes began on 20 April 2021, after a senior AANES commander was killed by Syrian soldiers. The clashes are conducted with medium and light weapons as well as RPG's AANES has captured several streets since the clashes began. Both sides have suffered casualties.
