Ramchandrapur is a census town under Sankrail police station in Sadar subdivision of Howrah district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Ramchandrapur had a population of 9,014. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Ramchandrapur has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 71%. In Ramchandrapur, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
