Date of death[edit]

It seems a little unclear, and most sources are not game enough to say exactly when he died. But some sources, dated 22 March, are saying he died "last night", which suggests it occurred on Thursday 21 March. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 16:23, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

The Washington Post story directly states that he died 'Friday', i.e. the 22nd. Regards, Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 16:53, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
A press release from Brown University, where he held a professorship, said he died "in Boston Thursday evening, March 21, 2013." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.16.101.197 (talk) 17:14, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

One of the problems with dates is that unless it is exactly stated in the source as to what time zone that they consider it could be a guess as can best be as to what date is appropriate.66.74.176.59 (talk) 01:51, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Deleting picture of udu[edit]

Not that I have anything against udus, but this picture has nothing to do with Chinua Achebe. 67.169.119.122 (talk) 17:22, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
