I Love Jesus but I have also want to say that Wikipedia is propagating White-Christian Supremacy.Wikipedia should also publish articles on the role of Hindus/Muslims/Sikhs/Jews/Africans in civilization.

That is one way to do it, another would be to back off the stridency of this article and cover the contributions of religion to civilization within out coverage of civilization (or civilizations if one prefers). Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:52, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article appears to conflate "civilization" and "Western society"; the only exception to this being a section on the Islamic world tacked onto the end. Per WP:GLOBALIZE, this should be rectified or the article should be moved to a narrower title (if the latter takes place, the section on the Islamic world may need to be split). – Scyrme (talk) 18:02, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Agree, this article as currently constructed is a mess... It does appear to in large part take the white supremacist viewpoint that civilization = western civilization. Whether this is the result bigotry on the part of editors or just an accident which nobody intended is unclear. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:39, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This whole essay is just shite--it's an essay, for starters, as signaled by the "throughout" in the opening sentences. Moving it to "...Western society", in agreement with the opening sentence, would be a good move. Deleting it would be an even better move. Scyrme, Horse Eye's Back, I feel a move might be happening, but I'd propose "Western society" rather than "Western civilization", because the latter is typically one of these bland sophomoric generalizations.
