[edit]Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Robert Downey Jr., did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Robert Downey Jr.. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mrs Globe Classic, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Donna Brown. Nomination of Mrs Globe Classic for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mrs Globe Classic is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mrs Globe Classic until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. The Banner talk 11:14, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
The article Terry lim has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. CAPTAIN RAJU (✉) 12:04, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Terry lim
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Terry lim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Kolbasz (talk) 13:17, 17 June 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent edit to List of beauty pageants appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. [edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Mrs Globe Australia 2016. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Proposed deletion of Mrs Globe Australia 2016
[edit]The article Mrs Globe Australia 2016 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Failed to meet WP:GNG. The article has not received SIGNIFICANT coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Richie Campbell (talk) 03:27, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Re: Article for deletion
[edit]Suggest to use User:Gryllida/sandbox/1 to practice sources finding. Just my personal recommendation - not a part of the article creation process. Then give your sources list to a friend and ask to write down summary and author info for each source. Compare what you've got. You can use User:Gryllida/sandbox/2, User:Gryllida/sandbox/3, etc if you're doing this together with friends.
You can edit visually on these pages so even technically uninvolved editors may help you with an independent sources summarization process and then you start comparing the results together. --Gryllida 03:49, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
IRC conversation in #wikipedia-en-help
[edit]Hey, I helped you with the sources on Miss América Latina in IRC. Just wanted to catch up on one comment you made. In regards to the statement "I dont think its a good idea letting this sit for a whole year with one minor source", you've sort of missed my point. I was finding you sources that were perfect for the article. Attempting to delete the article instead of editing it because it would "take ages" is a ridiculous thing to say. I will add those sources to the page and contest the deletion. Thanks! Acalycine (talk) 06:54, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- So you take one sentence from a looong conversation on IRC and make it out to be ridiculous... You are taking that out of context, how do these beauty pageant articles which I created from scratch look to you? Miss Latina Australia Miss Latina Australia 2016 Mrs Globe Australia Mrs Globe These Beauty pageant pages have every work backed up by sources. This article with no sources is to use your word Ridiculous Miss América Latina but if you want to go find sources to back up everything written on it be my guest... I would have waited for the various Hispanic Australian news sources to become available online so I can write it in the standard that should be wikipedia. (Australianblackbelt (talk) 14:52, 13 March 2017 (UTC))
An editor have removed the {{prod}} tag from Miss América Latina, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! - So it took 4 editors to correct the page well for starters I would have NEVER have been able to fix it period until the sources became available... te felisito por lo que has echo ahoura la pagina me parece muy bien . (Australianblackbelt (talk) 15:34, 13 March 2017 (UTC))
MoS Images
[edit]Hey Australianblackbelt. You may want to take a few minutes and read over Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images. In particular, in most circumstances, images should be left at their default size, and in nearly all circumstances, "px" should not be used to resize them, and an upright scaling factor should be used instead.
We have to keep in mind that Wikipedia is viewed using lots of different software, on lots of different devices, with lots of different setting, on lots of different resolutions. And so although a certain size may look just right on your personal monitor, it probably looks completely wonky on someone else's. And anyway, someone who's super interested in the image can always click through to see it in all its high resolution glory. TimothyJosephWood 16:49, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for the tip I realise that after the last edit to Ms Australia Globe. (Australianblackbelt (talk) 16:53, 9 June 2017 (UTC))

[edit]Since you seem to have stopped reverting everyone everywhere long enough for me to finish writing this out:
- Deletion review (DRV) isn't the place for this. That's a venue for reviewing whether a deletion discussion was closed correctly, or a speedy deletion was done incorrectly. "Subject isn't notable" is an AFD argument, and would be ignored at DRV.
- Even if you wanted the previous AFD reviewed, DRV wouldn't do it. AFDs don't expire, exactly, but DRV categorically refuses to review discussions as old as that one, instead asking for a new AFD (if the article currently exists) or new article (if it doesn't).
- And even if DRV would entertain this request, you placed it on a closed log page, where it won't be seen by anyone except a few people like me who have every log page watchlisted. If you go to WP:DRV, you'll see that 2020 January 13 isn't even listed, because no drvs were initiated on that day.
- And the article isn't eligible for WP:Proposed deletion either, since it was previously kept at AFD.
User:Finngall was exactly right in his first revert - the place to discuss this is at a new Articles for Deletion discussion, and the way to properly list it there is at WP:AFDHOWTO. To be fair, that's become an unconscionably bloated mess since the last time I looked at it; the part you specifically want is the line If this article has been nominated before, use {{subst:afdx|2nd}} or {{subst:afdx|3rd}} etc.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wing Chun, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shaolin. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Answering your question at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leung Sheung
[edit]The discussion was closed before I had a chance to respond to your question. No, I don't consider a website where anyone can post to be considered a reliable source. I thought my statement "A brief bio page on another website that anyone can post to also does meet the standard of an independent and reliable source" was quite clear, though apparently it wasn't. Papaursa (talk) 23:34, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Papaursa: Thank you, I think you meant to say; can post to does NOT meet the standard... Cheers, Australianblackbelt (talk) 23:47, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- You are correct. I read that twice and still missed my error. I think I originally wrote the first two sentences of that post as one sentence with a "nor" in between, but then I decided to make it two sentences and got rid of the nor. A bit of careless editing that. At least it didn't impact the discussion's result. Papaursa (talk) 23:54, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Maurice Novoa. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. There will be many more articles on the famouse Latin-Australian to come but but I dont mind if it is now your goal to have this paged deleted I used to be a student of Maurice Novoa he doesnt care about this page. Good luck in the future and keep up the great work Australianblackbelt (talk)
The file File:AMAAI Foundation Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free logo whose use in AMAA Who's Who in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFCC#3a. While non-free logos of an organization are typically allowed when they are used for primary identification purposes at the top of or in the main infobox of stand-alone article about the organization they represent, those logo (despite what the rationale claims) isn't being used in such a manner. The article is about an award given out by the American Martial Arts Alliance Foundation, not the foundation itself, and there is already an image being used for that award (File:AMAA Who’s who in martial arts award plaque, 2018.jpg) being used in the main infobox of the article for identification purposes. If the AMMA meets WP:NORG and a stand-alone article is created about it, then it would be fine to use its in that article; however, trying to WP:COATRACK and article about the organization into the article about the award not only has problems for encyclopedic reasons, but it also basically fails to meet the WP:NFCCP with respect to the this file's non-free use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:26, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Marchjuly: This article contains a logo Bruce Lee and the logo in question has Contextual significance. Australianblackbelt (talk) 10:41, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- There's no discussion of this "Bruce Lee logo" anywhere in the article, and there is already a "logo" of the award being used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox. If the organization's logo is something that has received critically commentary in reliable secondary sources, you add content specific to the logo to the article and clarify this in its non-free use rationale, then that might better establish its contextual significance. Otherwise, it seems pretty much a WP:DECORATIVE type of non-free use that's generally not allowed. Anyway, if you disagree, you can always WP:DEPROD the file; given its current non-free use, however, I don't think it would be pretty hard to establish a consensus at WP:FFD that the file's non-free use is WP:NFCC compliant. -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:55, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- I've WP:DEPRODed myself since the file is now being used for primary identification purposes in a stand-alone article about the foundation. This, however, is unrelated to whether the foundation meets WP:NORG, but that has nothing to do with WP:NFCC. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:47, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
AMAA Who's Who in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame
[edit]Hi Australianblackbelt. Is AMAA Who's Who in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame about an award or an organization? It's not clear whether either of the two is Wikipedia notable enough to justify a stand-alone article, but it seems as if you're trying to make one article cover both subjects. Generally, such a thing can be seen as kind of WP:COATRACKING and such a thing is not really a good idea. It would seem that if only one of the two is notable, then it would be the AMAA itself with content about its HOF contained within it: however, it's not clear whether that it would meet WP:NORG. Anyway, if you feel both are notable, it would be better to create an article about each and focus on content specific to each; in other words, content related specifically to the award in the award's article and other more general content (e.g. its publications, board and activities) related to the organization in the organization's article. I'm also curious about the content you added for the |focus=
parameter in the infobox you added here. You originally used the word "our" as in "for our 2021 Martial Arts Build Back Project programs". Do you have any connection to the AMAA or was there some other reason why you used "our" in that way? -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:44, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- I have no connection I am in Australia and have nothing to do with them, I have written dozens of articles for martial artists all over the world. If they were two articles somebody would nominate to merge them together Australianblackbelt (talk) 10:50, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Marchjuly:The reason they are together is because there are other organizations names American martial arts alliance and the name of the award is not the same as the foundation that created it. hence it is less confusing to people when they see the article as it is presented.Australianblackbelt (talk) 10:53, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Marchjuly: See now this article which I created is straight forward because the award is the same name as the organization Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Australianblackbelt (talk) 10:56, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- If that's the case, then it would seem to better to create an article about the organization and then add content about the award to it instead of doing it the other way around. If there are other organizations with the same name that have Wikipedia articles written about them, you can always disambiguate the title; however, there doesn't seem to be any article titled American Martial Arts Alliance Foundation so there might not be any need for disambiguation at all. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:00, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Marchjuly: It's done American Martial Arts Alliance now they are two separate articles. Australianblackbelt (talk) 11:31, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- You might want to add some relevant WikiProject banners to the article talk page. Template:WikiProject Martial arts and Template:WikiProject Organizations are two that come to mind. This will help let others know about the articles and add it to category pages of articles needing assessment. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:54, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

File:Melbourne Sport and Street Wing Chun Kung Fu Logo.jpg
[edit]This file fails WP:NFCC#8 pretty much for the same reasons as given above in #Proposed deletion of File:AMAAI Foundation Logo.png. If you're the copyright holder of the logo and want to give your WP:CONSENT and release under a free license that Wikipedia accepts, than you can do that (though the provenance of the photo in the center of the logo isn't clear]]). At the same time, if you think the "Melbourne Sport & Street Wing Chun Kung Fu" is notable enough per WP:NORG for a stand-alone article to be written about it that would survive a WP:AFD discussion, then a non-free file would be OK there. I don't think there's any way, however, to justify this per Wikipedia's non-free content use policy in the Novoa article as it's currently being used. I give you some time to try and sort this out or seek other feedback at either WP:MCQ or WT:NFCC, but this will nominated for discussion at WP:FFD if it's not resolved sometime soon. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:37, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Seem like I played right in to your hand, well done. Australianblackbelt (talk) 14:58, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Marchjuly: This is a clever way to prove I am Novoa if I had the copyright to his logo and tried to release it however I am not so I can't. I could be wrong about your entrapment attempt, feel free to select an image of the subject for the info box there are many in commons. I sure as hell am never going to touch the Maurice Novoa article ever again! Australianblackbelt (talk)
- I had no idea the Novoa article existed until this post was added to your user talk page. My post about the logo was simply to try and help you avoid it from being deleted from Wikipedia. The same thing goes for my posts on your Commons use talk page; they were only intended to try and help you resolve the issues you seem to be having with OTRS and your Commons uploads. I don't know who emailed OTRS or what information those emails contained; so, I don't know how that information affects you here on Wikipedia. I did ask you early on if you had a connection to the AMAA, but you stated you didn't and I haven't asked you about it since then. Just for reference, Wikipedia doesn't expressly prohibit conflict of interest editing, but it does highly discourage it because COI editors often have a hard time editing in accordance with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Having a COI doesn't automatically make an editor a bad editor and those that follow Wikipedia's policies and guidelines on COI editing often avoid problems. Only you truly know who you are and whether you have a connection with any of the Wikipedia articles you've been editing or creating. If you do have such a connection, the more transparent you are about it the better because it will make it easier for others to help you and it will also make others less suspicious of your reasons for editing. There was no attempt on my part to try and entrap you into revealing who you are; how much you want others on Wikipedia to know about you is up to you. At the same time, if other editors feel that you might not be totally forthcoming about the relationship that you might with some of the subjects that you're editing about, then they can try and seek clarification. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:10, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Australianblackbelt. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Maurice Novoa, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — Jeff G. ツ 14:26, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Jeff G.: Kindly answer this question OTRS Super sluth; If this article is just a self promotion why then was it not created half a decade ago in 2016? Nominating an article for deletion with national and two international print edition news sources, that's one heck of a personal grudge. My work is pure voluntary and I am a pentioner. Australianblackbelt (talk) 14:46, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- The article has been WP:DEPRODed by another editor which means that if it will need to be discussed at WP:AFD if someone still feels it still needs to be deleted. For reference, articles being prodded for deletion is not all that unusual. There are over six million articles and its not possible for them to all be reviewed or assessed in a timely matter; so, how long an article has existed is not really too relevant when it comes to deletion discussions. All Wikipedia editors are WP:VOLUNTEERs and most of those who've been editing for a long time are doing so because they want to be WP:HERE. Most of the time when an editor nominates or tags an article deletion it's not because of some personal grudge, but rather because they feel the content simply isn't suited for Wikipedia as explained in Wikipedia:So your article has been nominated for deletion. The way to try and resolve such things is to figure out what the concerns are and if or how they can be resolved. All editors get frustrated at times, but when that happens it's best to try and remain WP:COOL and try to resolve things through civil discussion; sometimes that can be hard to do, but it's often the only way of keeping things from getting worse. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:36, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- Well I've created a heap of articles over the years so I know all about weasel words and peacock issues, when they get reviewed they don't go easy on me so I know there is no problem with this article and if I wasn't just a volunteer I would go to the national library archives and dig up a bunch more articles from older spainsh news papers like noticias y deportes about Novoa, trust me there are plenty. English media dont bother covering people's achievements in Australia they didnt even cover the Mrs Globe Australia 25th anniversary pageant at federation square, not a sigle article except in LAT. - I'm not sure that's a entirely correct understanding of either Commons or OTRS. The primary point of Commons is given in c:COM:SCOPE and files uploaded to it are expected to have some realistic educational value. Newspapers, etc. may freely use files uploaded to Commons if they want as long as they comply with the licensing terms of the files they use; however, Commons isn't really for uploading personal photos, etc. just so that they can perhaps be used by some newspaper or website some day. Most countries have fair use or fair dealing provisions in their respective copyright laws which would allow such content to be used without it being uploaded to Commons and the copyirght holder can simply give the newspaper, etc. permission to use their photos if they want without even involving Commons. There are also image hosting websites like Flickr, etc. where such files can be uploaded, and released under whatever license the copyright wants. Finally, even though Commons and Wikipedia are sister projects, they are still separate projects with their own policies and guidelines. Wikipedia's policy regarding image use is Wikipedia:Image use policy, and while most images found used in Wikipedia articles do come from Commons, not every image uploaded to Commmons should be used in Wikipedia articles. Per WP:IUP#Adding images to articles, there typically needs to be a strong contextual connection between image and article content so that the reader's understanding of said content is actually improved in some way by seeing the image. In other words, adding an image should make an article better in some way for the general reader of the article; it shouldn't just be to make things better for the subject of the article or for the subject of the image. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:52, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

The article Uruguayan Social Club has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Completely non-notable organization. Fails WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Canterbury Tail talk 12:39, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Removing maintenance templates - citation needed templates
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, you may be blocked from editing. Canterbury Tail talk 14:10, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
You may as well just give up with the Felix Leong thing, man. Those articles you keep conflict-of-interest editing are being watched constantly now because of your silly campaign, and you ought to just think yourself lucky Felix Leong's own article isn't being deleted, since there's literally NOTHING indicating him to be notable aside from those local community newsletter things you keep on citing despite being told they're not good enough. Now just count your blessings and stop the shoehorning game, it's just going to be reverted every single time you try it, never giving citations from decent sources. Seriously, to include Felix Leong alongside Ip Man, Bruce Lee and Donnie Yen on the Wing Chun article as a notable practitioner is simply hilarious! You... do KNOW your editing history is publicly visible, right? And that your nonsense has drawn people's attention? Good luck! :)
What have you got against Felix you don’t remove the links in red Australianblackbelt (talk) 04:41, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

You have been warned before about adding links to scans and photos of copyrighted material being hosting without the copyright holders permission, but you're are still re-adding them. Links to scans of newspapers stored on someone's private web server do not contain the copyright attributions and permissions to show they are being stored there with permission of the copyright holder. Per WP:COPYLINK you cannot link to these. You have been warned about this before, but you still persist in this. Stop!
Note, please read
Now, that being said, for a reference you don't need to provide a link to a scanned copy of it. If you truly believe that the LAT is a reliable source, you can just add the LAT as a reference. You do not need to add a URL link to a scan to back it up. The reference material does not actually have to be readily available to all readers immediately. So for a newspaper you can add a reference to the newspaper article, issue date, page etc, but you don't need to add a URL link. See WP:HOWCITE. From a copyright perspective it's the link to a non-permission copy of the articles that are tripping you up, not the reference itself. I hope you understand the difference. - The info box is constructive in one day viewers have opened it and clicked on Eric Oram's page his stats show a jump from 50 views in a day to 118 just cause of the box. The are over a dozen quality references stating Downey trains Wing Chun he even went on Oprah to discuss it and show where he trains and with who. The photo in the info box show three notable persons so it is relevant. I dont understand what your problem is cause the info box is small and collapsible doesn't take up space.
