Eddy Arnold Singles / B-sides

Hi Eric, I'm a newcomer. Sorry about adding "Just Call Me Lonesome" to 1950s Singles when it was actually a B-side. I see you fixed that. Someone called it "the saddest song ever written" but I can't remember who. Do you know? By the way, you have "I Walk Alone" listed under Singles, but I believe it was the B-side of "Did You See My Daddy Over There." Reference: Chanteurs Eddy Arnold Discography 08/1945 RCA 33-0535. Big & Rich discography (URGENT)

Hello there. I recently edited this discography page. I went to Amazon.com, iTunes, bigandrich.com and even made a Google search but I could find absolutely NO mention of an extended play by Big & Rich titled "That's Why We Pray" (other than Wikipedia, which came up in every search). It must've been a glitch on Billboard.com, because I don't see how it would have entered the album charts if no one can find a place to buy it at. So, I think that we either have a phantom extended play from Big & Rich, or Billboard.com has the title wrong (and consequently, CMT as well, which probably gets its information from Billboard). You ought to go to Billboard.com and click on the link that says "Buy" to look at the track listing and compare it to the photos of the CD on eBay (one of them shows the tracks of the Walmart release). I was not able to do it myself as I do not have iTunes, so when I tried to use the link it first took me to a site to download the program. I'm usually able to search for music inside of iTunes, which is why I said that it was not available because I searched for an EP with the aforementioned title and nothing came up (though, without the program, maybe it was not able to bring it up to begin with).

Bubbling Under

Bubbling Under is treated as a separate entity only if the song bubbled under but didn't enter the Hot 100 proper. So if it got to #1 on Bubbling Under and stopped, then include it; if it spent a few weeks bubbling under then went straight to scaling the Hot 100, then don't include the Bubbling peak. Any chance I can get you to help me go through Category:American country musicians? That category should contain nothing but other categories. Please help me go through each article and determine whether it should have Category:American country musicians replaced with a subcategory (e.g. Category:American country guitarists) or just removed. Billboard.com

Has something changed since Monday with the Country chart, because the site now has Country digital songs and country airplay, I'm very confused. Are we now just going off of "Country Airplay"? NYSMtalk page 13:33, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

  • I think the consensus here is to use the new "main" chart unless the song hasn't charted there. For instance, "Jesse James" is at #51 on the 10/20 airplay chart, but it's not on the "main" chart at all so #51 is right. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 18:03, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

  • It's looking like the consensus is just to use both Country Airplay and the "new" chart, so long as it doesn't push the discography over the 10-chart limit. I'd recommend making separate columns for "US Country Airplay" and "US Country" for all the artists who currently have a song on either chart. The Damn Band

Hi! Most of the stuff I got for that article are 100% facts. Every one of these people have been touring with Hank Williams III. I read the two pages, watched a few videos and didn't even add everyone I knew to be playing with him, because I didn't know the names. I also confirmed all information about time before year 2002 from the band's bass player. He's a great friend of mine, and toured with him all around the world from 1995 to almost 2002. Other sources have already confirmed that their next album will be produced by Rick Rubin. I've found secondary sources claiming that Rubin did Better Dig Two. Decade charts

Chartbot is throwing up its hands on one big set of links, those like


From context, it looks like Billboard used to have pages that listed the top 100 songs for each decade. Has Whitburn got lists like this in any of his books? If you could provide me with some citations from the Whitburn books that would act as sources for these, it would be easy for me to make Chartbot do the work of correcting the citations.
