July 2014[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Philippe Coutinho has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

A tag has been placed on User:Sammanhumagain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on Jack Dunn (footballer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". The article Yan Dhanda (footballer born 1998) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Jordon Ibe[edit]

Hello. You probably don't realise that we may not add information of a personal nature, such as the nationality of Mr Ibe's parents, without adding a reference to a reliable source to verify that information. Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons is strict on this. How it's supposed to work is, you find the content in a reliable published source, and only then add the content and the source together. Adding content with a citation needed tag isn't acceptable. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 08:58, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And again, re this edit. Please stop adding content without adding a source. Struway2 (talk) 17:09, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

please don't add protection templates to unprotected pages[edit]

Hi - thanks for your RFPP request, but you shouldn't add tags like {{pp-dispute}} to unprotected pages. It's misleading. Non-admins cannot protect pages and it just creates more work for us when we have to go back and remove it. (There's a bot that does that kind of thing but it's not very fast.)Thanks. :-) KrakatoaKatie 14:33, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

For more information, take a look at WP:PP, WP:ADMIN, and WP:RFA. In short, we learned early in the project that if we allowed everyone to protect any page they wanted, this wouldn't be a wiki much longer. KrakatoaKatie 14:55, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited FA Cup Final referees, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jonathan Moss. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Rollback[edit]

Hi Sammanhumagain. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Beeblebrox (talk) 16:24, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding User name change[edit]

Hello, @User:KrakatoaKatie

I've almost been editing Wikipedia for about a year now. Initially I didn't know that generally Wikipedians don't go by their names as users. So I made my userpage with my real name. I am active on social media with that same name so someone may react negatively to me in social media regarding my contributions here. So my point is I want to change my userpage name and I don't know the process to do it. Additionally I have some sub pages in the userpage(please see my userpage) and I want to change the names in all those pages as well. Could you help me? I would also appreciate if you suggested me some names to replace the current one as I can't think of a one. Cheers!!!Sammanhumagaint@lk 05:43, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CHU is the place for you. Sorry, but suggesting usernames isn't something I do. :-) KrakatoaKatie 15:27, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

List of wifi router companies[edit]

Okay 2 things-first off its not a BLP so that does not apply-also for some reason it looks like it was not put correctly on the page or put on the talk page of the creator. But if you think it should be deleted do a normal prod or a afd. Wgolf (talk) 03:49, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If I had to request for deletion I would do it but I don't see any problem for it to be deleted. But I want the page to have a lead and at least one proper citation which I hope you can provide. Once again I want the article to be expanded rather than being deleted. Cheers!!! Sammanhumagaint@lk 03:52, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what it would be-but you don't put up a BLP prod for that though as that is for deletion. Wgolf (talk) 03:54, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removing AfD template[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. About the deletion[edit]

Hi there, I have seen about the deletion conflict. About that if you please look at the previous Copa America articles like the 2011 one they havw their own pages so therefore the groups should have their own articles. BLP PROD error[edit]

You placed a BLP PROD tag on 2015–16 Valencia CF season. Please note that this tag is only to be used on unsourced articles about living people.- MrX 14:29, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another thing to note about BLP PRODS: I'm not sure if Twinkle is supposed to do this automatically or not, but a few of the articles you prodded didn't get patrolled, which should be done if an article is tagged for deletion. Pishcal 02:15, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Patrick Roberts, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. @User:Mattythewhite Sorry but my internet connection has only Wikipedia now so I can't see that link but I checked the u 18 England team wiki page and saw the change made by a user who is very reliable. If it is just 1 then you're welcome to revert it yet again. Cheers!!!

Hi. Please read WP:BURDEN. If information is removed without a source, it's up to you to provide a source when re-adding it. If you continue to re-add this info unsourced you face being blocked (either through WP:3RR or WP:DE). Thanks. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 17:37, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"but my intention was to keep the list there till another fellow provides a reference", sorry, that's you're job per WP:BURDEN. Otherwise how do we know it's true? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 17:45, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
True. If/when I find a ref, I'll re-ad the text, and not before. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 17:49, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Patrick Roberts[edit]

Hi, best thing to do is wait until his profile on the FA website updates and adds his second cap, then change it. Unfortunately some editors take themselves far too seriously and although they know that the information is correct, they'd rather remove it, leaving the article inaccurate and out of date. It might be the "correct" thing to do by the rules, but it's extremely unconstructive. Don't let it stop you editing though! Eng66 (talk) 18:09, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox dates[edit]

Hi, when updating international stats in the infobox you should update the |ntupdate= or |nationalteam-update= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 13:22, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@(talk) Thank you. I will do it from next time. But provide the wiki page of this method so that I can look at it in detail. And I hope you don't revert edits done without having vandalism or any out of context aspects like you did yesterday. Cheers!!! Sammanhumagaint@lk 13:27, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

See the infobox documentation. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:44, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Luseey was a reserve player but he had a professional contract with the club so he is also eligble to be put their. Skyblueshaun (talk) 13:36, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Skyblueshaun (talk) Hello, mate I don't know abut this and I think we should contact other editors or maybe view the passed decision. The reason I reverted was because many youngster have not been included here since the last two seasons. But I am not sure about Lussey. Cheers!!!Sammanhumagaint@lk 13:41, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I appreciate that but Lussey was loaned out to Bolton Wanderers last season and is on last seasons page. So if the case is that he won't be shown on here when released because he is a youngster then why edit a youngster being loaned out. On many other club season pages youngsters with professional contracts weather in first team or not are still shown to have left the club as a whole. Skyblueshaun (talk) 14:28, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving my talk page[edit]

Hi User:KrakatoaKatie, recently I have been trying to archive my talk page but it is not working properly. It would be great if you fixed with the addition of a bot and archiving monthly. Cheers!!! Sammanhumagaint@lk 05:51, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and one more thing? Just leave your initial message on someone's talk page instead of placing {{talkback}} and making them click over to your talk page unnecessarily. It's a deprecated template anyway, plus it's an extra step and it wastes time. Thanks. :-) KrakatoaKatie 14:47, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

July 2015[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at 2015–16 Manchester United F.C. season shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
As I told you, you want the content changed and should discuss. Qed237 (talk) 14:01, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Qed237 Well, if that's the case then, you have also been involving in it and have just checked that you reverted three times as well. So should I tag you on your talk page then according to the rules? Sammanhumagaint@lk 14:07, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, you added the content and has added it 4 times, while I reverted only three. Secondly you refused to listen to WP:BRD and open a discussion. Thirdly, I attempted to open a discussion and actually discuss. Some major differences there. Qed237 (talk) 15:01, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2015–16 Manchester United F.C. season[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2015–16 Manchester United F.C. season. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. GiantSnowman 15:14, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@GiantSnowman I am aware of this. But as of now you know I didn't do anything wrong. And can you explain why editors are blocked because of only three reverts? I think one such case is not enough to block a user. Sammanhumagaint@lk 15:36, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:3RR. GiantSnowman 15:47, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@GiantSnowman Will I be bolcked? If then what happens if I undo all my four edits? Sammanhumagaint@lk 16:02, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That made little sense.[edit]

Seriously, you think that the column on the right is better then the huge chunk of sourced material removed on the left? Take a look again [1]. They took sourced material and added that she is singing or sang in one film and then subsequently left it unsourced. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 17:09, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Signature[edit]

Hey there! I've been really busy with real life lately and will be so it will take much longer than expected to get your signatures ready. I will continue to try and make something good but have no idea how long it will take. Sorry for the inconvenience! Rihaz (Talk to meStuff I did) 05:08, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No worries mate take your time and I know they take time and that even three designs. For now I have no problem with continuing with the present one. You can forward it to me after you complte it. Take your time. Cheers!!! NextGenSam619t@lk 05:14, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Would you like one similar to mine? I am thinking of more creative things with special symbols and characters, but how would you like it? Rihaz (Talk to meStuff I didGlobal Info) 08:59, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well the reason I asked you to make three signatures was because I actually don't have ideas regarding signatures except the simple ones. You can make one like yours but make sure it's different from yours. The rest two you can make according to your creativity. I will choose any one from them. And yes take your time there is no hurry. Thanks!!! NextGenSam619t@lk 17:33, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Shackell[edit]

The BBC report states "Derby County are set to re-sign defender Jason Shackell after they agreed an undisclosed fee with Burnley". Clearly, the transfer is not complete yet. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:28, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The transfer's now been confirmed by Derby. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:34, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
