I undid your edit to Price look-up code as it was not wp:cited, not because it was not true. Which, BTW, I don't know if it is or not. Adding citations to references is how we ensure that content is correct. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. To keep Wikipedia wp:verifiable, wp:cite wp:reliable sources (RS) with your edit. In the case of food safety, you need to cite a wp:Identifying reliable sources (medicine) (WP:RSMED), as most otherwise reliable journalists are not qualified to say that "food labels are safe to eat". The use of RSMED in this case is very important. We don't want people inadvertently or intentionally eating food labels and getting ill.

Just because something is "true" does not merit its inclusion on Wikipedia. It needs to cite RS as well and the cite should be added with your edit. Not sometime in the future. Some people do see the edits as they are made and if it is not cited with the edit, it may, per wp:verifiability, be removed immediately.

Your use of an image as a citation would not be a wp:reliable source. The person who created the image is not an authority on food safety. (RSMED requirement)

I followed your image link and eventually, I came to this FDA report on the adhesives. But, the ink, paper, and any other materials (coatings, perhaps) were not found. So the claim that "labels are edible" would be "unsourced" even if you had linked to the FDA report or your image. You would need to cite an RS source - the FDA or other internationally recognized food agency or organization, who makes the statement that "food labels are safe to eat". Doing so in parts would be wp:original research as it would be you that concluded they are safe.

So, if you wish to restore your edit, please find an RSMED, restore your edit, and cite that RS. If you are unable to find all of that information, please consider adding a new section to talk:Price look-up code, add the sources you have and ask that it be added to the article with a proper source.
