Jat-related articles
[edit]Hi, it seems fairly obvious that you are not new to Wikipedia. You have been making a lot of fairly technical edits to articles related to the Jat community and you are citing the same poor sources that numerous other people have tried to use in the past. Given the extent of disruption that has historically occurred at those articles and your own behavioural patterns I really do think that you should make yourself aware of the policy at WP:SOCK. I'm sorry but this does not "feel right". I may be wrong but I doubt it. - Sitush (talk) 02:19, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
I should add that you should not necessarily feel disheartened. Books authored by people such as Thakur Deshraj and Vir Singh have long been considered unreliable for use on Wikipedia. It may be that you have suddenly taken an interest in a subject area that is known to be volatile by those of us who have been here for some time ... and that you are unusually quick in learning the technicalities of Wikipedia. If so then that's ok. We can work something out. - Sitush (talk) 02:36, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Ibrahim Lodhi's Tomb a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:19, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

My reply
[edit]Thanks dear Diana,
I left the following reply on your page, to be sure you can see it, I have reposted here because I was not sure if I post here only then you might not receive the notification or be able to see it (I am still learning how it works in wikipedia).
Seems I ended up CREATING TWO ARTICLES on Ibrahim Lodhi Tomb on the same day, second one being the exact copy of the first one because I thought I had deleted the first one without being allowed by the wikipedia to save it but i was able to copy paste it and went on to recreate it, seems erroneously two exactly the same articles were created by me within few minutes. Please help me by deleting one or teach me how to do it. I am good with computer programming and referencing, etc but I am still finding my ways in relation to deleting, relocating articles on wiki. This is my page where you left your msg, User_talk:Thecutehero#April_2016 Thanks. Thecutehero talk
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Thecutehero, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Sultan Ghari has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 19:12, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks Diana
[edit]@Diannaa (talk) I just visited that article, a lot of my edits are still there as I had provided the references, and wrote the text in my own language (not copy paste). Seems SOME OF MY EDITS might not have been acceptable if they were too similar to the sources that i have referenced. In that case, I will revisit and where appropriate I will apply the edits after making necessary changes. Thanks for the feedback to help me enhance the articles.
Reliable sources
[edit]Hi there, please read WP:RS. Some of the references you are adding are not considered reliable sources by Wikipedia's standards.
For example, wikiwand.com is just a mirror of Wikipedia and is not allowed as per WP:CIRCULAR. Sikhiwiki.org is another wiki, and is not allowed, since anyone can write anything there. Similarly, websites like royalfamilyofindia.com, thefamouspeople.com etc. are self-published sources and are not acceptable, since anyone can register a domain and create a website.
Examples of acceptable sources for history-related articles include scholarly books published by well-regarded academic presses, articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals etc. utcursch | talk 03:10, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Response
[edit]Okie dokie, thanks for explaning the difference, I think you are referring to my changes at Sikh Misl pages. I will do more research and replace the existing references with more ROBUST sources.
- No problem, the content you are adding seems to be all right. And at least some of the references added by you are acceptable. If you haven't already done so, I recommend going through Wikipedia:Tutorial. utcursch | talk 03:24, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
thanks
[edit]No worries, thanks. btw, please read previous msg by the reviwer named DIANA, she pointed out I accidentally created two articles with same name and content, please help me on how to delete one of those. thank. talk

Basic things
[edit]Hi Thecutehero. Sorry to see you are struggling and finding Wikipedia difficult. There are a lot of rules, some of them more important than others, so here are some basic things that are very important:
- All content that you add needs to have a source. That means information you add needs to come from high quality books, magazines, and websites. The content needs to be re-written in your own words, not copied directly from the source. For more information, see Identifying reliable sources; copyrights; verifiability.
- If you post a message on my talk page, I will likely reply on that page. The way to discover whether or not I have replied is to add the page to your watch-list. The way to add or remove a page to your watch-list is to click the star symbol between the 'View history' tab and the search box at the very top of the page.
- You have asked how to delete an article you created by mistake. Only administrators can delete articles. Another editor has turned your mis-spelled one into a redirect.
- If you want to get information on how to edit Wikipedia, an easy way to find the appropriate policy or guideline is to prefix a search term with the letters WP:. For example, to locate information on deleting articles, search for WP:delete, and to find out about sourcing, search for WP:sources. Another really good option when you have a question is to visit the Teahouse, where people experienced in helping new users are standing by to answer your questions. . — Diannaa (talk) 13:27, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Wow
[edit]Thanks Diana, you are so kind enough to explain with patience, thanks much, I am enjoying my stay at wikipedia, though may be hard not satisfy all the editors at all times je je je ... but I understand they all serve the same purpose, to improve the quality of the articles, i am initially focusing on creating the new articles on digitally undocumented important things related to matters that are of interest to me, no living persons though. Developing world is usually not documented well. I realised, if I or someone creates a new wikipedia article then in future it is easier for others to enhance or refine it, a lot of people are not keen to create new article and they simply move on. I am nto aiming to create 10/10 perfect article, as long as it is 7/10 i am ok with it so that i can create more articles with same effort, that is my goal. hope it is ok with you. Thanks again for being nice to me, I found you approachable, not easily frustrated or annoyed, big hug of gratitude je je je. You are an awesome editor.
Also, I have often wondered, how to train or inspire new wikipedia editors, specially mass projects in schools and collages, are there any short and formal online courses or any on-ground volunteer force? thanks.
Cheers

Speedy deletion nomination of Jyotisar Light and Sound Show
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jyotisar Light and Sound Show requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 13:26, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Dont be a jerk,
[edit]its easy being an idiot, and hrd to be a leader hard to create go screw yourself. this is what happens when useless person with no power or achievement in his life, gains some review rights, goes around splashing the arrogance. fuck off.
blocking people here may give you empty sense of control over your pathetic life, but this will not improve the quAlity of YOUR LIFE, YOU WILL STILL REMAIN AND ANGRY ARROGANT USELESS NO-ACHIEVEMENT LOSER. :) WINK.
Free tip: learn to be humble, encourage people rather than prove that you are a dog who can bark, try being a human instead of a human living and barking like a dog on other contributors. does i make u clock some points to bark/bn to raise ur number/points ...lolz... losers like you will not have any meaningful contriutors left in the end, this is not the only wiki anyway, we can contribute to other more respectful places. If you re going to be an arrogant barking dog, Im going to treat you like one. get that loud and clear, i enjoy contributing to wiki but unlike you, I have a real life with real achievements and real fulfillment, I rather be out of a place than be barked at by arrogant idiots, though I must confess there were some good editors who actually aided my journey, my advance thanks to them
I WILL WELCOME ALL RESPECTFUL CONSTRUCTIVE COLLABORATIVE FEEDBACK BUT I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY MOTHERF***KING IDIOTS'S RUDE ARROGANCE.

[edit]Pls follow the who convo, I did not attack. But if some editor is going to eb rude jerk, im going to come down hard like tons of bricks. I am not going to be bullied, threatened or treated badly by arrogant bullies. I dont care about the block. Please understand this, I operate on this principal TREAT ME WITH RESPECT F.I.R.S.T. and I will love you more nd conversely if anyone treats me BADLY, I AM WORSE. NO BULLY TRICKS. I ONLY RECIPROCATE IN DOUBLE DOSAGE WHAT WHAT DISHED OUT TO ME IN FIRST PLACE. Please kick out such arrogant editors who instead of COLLABORATING-COOPERATING R.E.S.P.E.C.T.F.U.L.L.Y instead running people out of wikipedia. I rather take a block than be bullied, because I DID NOT START IT. Leave me alone and I leave others alone. REspect me, I will respect more, try arrogance/attitude with me and I WILL RETALIATE TWICE AS MUCH. As for you, I have nothing wrong with you,, but now at least you know what is happening and how I operate. Im not here to mess with people or step on their toes but I will not feed ego of bullies either.
- I'm just letting you know that you can't go about using the kind of language you've used above. Not a good idea to rant either. After that, what you do is entirely up to you. --regentspark (comment) 23:04, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- just dont be rude, and dont provoke, dont bully people in FIRST PLACE. RESPECT ME AND I WILL WORSHIP YOU. TRY BULLy/ARROGANCE WITH ME, I WILL DEMOLISH YOU. i care for standing up to bully more than any ban. Pls show maturity and please do not victimize others members who might not find it worth while to fight back. Im opposed to arrogance/bully. REspect me and I will respect you, simple. Im here to ENJOY BY CONTRIBUTING, not fight, argue, step on toes...Im willing to collaborate and very open to CONSTRUCTIVE SPECIFIC ACTIONABLE FEEDBACK provided it is given with GOOD HEART and RESPECT without stalking me. but I am not meek or soft target. Cheers!

Proposed deletion of Government School, Bidhwan
[edit]The article Government School, Bidhwan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Sources do not indicate WP:notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. InsertCleverPhraseHere 05:00, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

copyright policy and law are inflexible. Anything you submit in an article, other that short attributed quotes, must be in your own words. If this is not possible then do not write the article.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 19:08, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

- That does not work. If I was to put quotation marks around a Hollywood movie it does not than make it okay for Wikipedia. You took the whole document basically.
- Also what do we do about the issue of you creating articles like Lava_temple,_Lahore_fort without saying which Wikipedia page you copied it from? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 05:59, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Your sockpuppet Lezela was blocked only yesterday so your block evasion and disruption has been going on irrespective of your claim of "being in jail long enough" or "lessons learned". —SpacemanSpiff 06:28, 20 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Thecutehero. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
