The Feed forms a central part of Spring.me and it appears on every user's homepage highlighting information including profile changes, videos, pictures and posts from the user's followers. As a social network, Spring.me revolves around the principle of followers. When another Spring.me user is chosen to be followed, that user's posts appear in reverse chronological order on your main Spring.me feed.
Users can create their own profiles with photos and other personal information. In addition they can communicate with followers and other users through private or public messages. Sharing option for posts, questions, photos and videos with other social networks such as Facebook and Twitter is available. Users can also mention other users by adding the "@" sign followed by a username when mentioning or replying to other users. The Smile button on Spring.me is a social networking feature similar to Facebook’s Like button. It allows users to express and share their appreciation of content such as comments, photos and questions.
