Canadian singer Justin Bieber has starred in over 105 music videos, has made cameo appearances in 13 films and has appeared in several television series. For his debut extended play My World (2009), Bieber released music videos for the singles "One Time", "One Less Lonely Girl", and "Love Me". Bieber released his debut studio-album, My World 2.0 (2010), which produced his internationally hit single "Baby" featuring Ludacris and its music video.[1] As of November 2022, it has accumulated over 2.8 billion views and 22 million likes on YouTube.[2] Both albums were featured in Bieber's first concert film, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which became the highest-grossing concert or performance film ever at the global box office, with earnings exceeding $99 million. Based on initial tracking, it became the highest-grossing concert movie in the United States since 1984[3] and the third-highest-grossing documentary since 1982.[4]

He went on to release his third studio-album, Believe (2012), which showcased Bieber's maturity accompanied with a new style. The music video for "Boyfriend", the album's lead single, set a Vevo record for the most views in a 24-hour period, with over eight million.[5] Believe also produced the hit singles "As Long as You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat", and their respective music videos; the latter of which was co-directed by Bieber. The album was featured in Bieber's second concert film, Justin Bieber's Believe. Following a turbulent 2013 and 2014, Bieber made his return with "Where Are Ü Now", in collaboration with Jack Ü. The single's music video received four nominations at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and won the Best Visual Effects award.[6] The same year, Bieber released his fourth studio-album, Purpose (2015), which produced the worldwide hit singles "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", and "Love Yourself". The music video for "Sorry" has amassed over 3.6 billion views on YouTube, his most-viewed video to-date. It was nominated for Video of the Year at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
