AAP addition

Hello, thanks for clarifying and removing the mention of Aam Aadmi Party in the List of recognised political parties in India. As expected, an anon has immediately re-added it. I had unwittingly done something like this some time ago after numerous poorly formatted additions. Would you consider adding a comment in the article and/or posting the reasoning on the talk page, to deter future additions? Sincerely, Ugog Nizdast (talk) 19:46, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Done. I'd ask for semi-protection if they don't stop. — Bill william comptonTalk 13:17, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Does the article meets the GA criteria? Soham 16:49, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi Soham, it looks fine to me, but needs thorough copy-editing to reach GA standards. Regards. — Bill william comptonTalk 13:24, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

AAP

Saw your note at WP:RFPP. I've added List of recognised political parties in India to my watchlist and will, erm, watch it. Hopefully, the errant AAP stuff will die down a bit when the usual rush of enthusiasm recedes. Though it will start again come the national elections in 2014! - Sitush (talk) 19:52, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Don't know what they are trying to achieve with all this. But, I'm guessing, coming few months would be eventful. — Bill william comptonTalk 11:53, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

your revert

to answer yr question, the facebook link fails WP:ELNO; the WN links add nothing that isn't already in the article. [[Demographics of India|India]] is a rather unconventional link for nationality. crores are parochial, and while it can be argued is tolererated under WP:TIES, they are a barrier to commonality and so by using millions obviates the need to explain, link to, or otherwise gloss the unit. rgds, -- Ohc ¡digame! 11:29, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

Welcome to the 2014 WikiCup!

Hello Bill william compton, and welcome to the 2014 WikiCup! Your submission page can be found here. The competition will begin at midnight tonight (UTC). There have been a few small changes from last year; the rules can be read in full at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring, and the page also includes a summary of changes. One important rule to remember is that only content on which you have completed significant work, and nominated, in 2014 is eligible for points in the competition- the judges will be checking! As ever, this year's competition includes some younger editors. If you are a younger editor, you are certainly welcome, but we have written an advice page at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Advice for younger editors for you. Please do take a look. Any questions should be directed to one of the judges, or left on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup. Signups will close at the end of January, and the first round will end on 26 February; the 64 highest scorers at that time will make it to round 2. Good luck!
