Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Co Ltd (Chinese: 中兴汽车; pinyin: Zhōngxìng Qìchē), branded as Zxauto, is a Chinese producer of SUVs and pick-up trucks, co-owned by Tianye Automobile Group Co Ltd and Taiwan Unite Leading Co. It was established in 1999,[1] and exports to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Central and South America. Pick-up trucks produced by Zxauto were widely used in the 2011 Libyan civil war by both the government and rebel forces.

[edit] Production bases and facilities
Zxauto has two main vehicle factories as well as a research and development center.[2] Its main plant is located in Baoding, Hebei, where the company is based.[citation needed] The company started construction of a new plant in Yichang, Hubei, in late 2010, which will build Zhongxing SUVs and sedans.[3]
ZX Grand Tiger received approval to be sold within the European Union. Its production for the EU takes place in Lublin, Poland.[4]
