Hello Anthony. Sir Geoffrey has vanished in a puff of electrons. Did we have a real article on him at one time? Now there's just a bunch of redirects that go in a circle. I found a mention of him in [[Special:DoubleRedirects]], and when investigating, saw your name in the log. We must have had a real article at one time: see [http://www.answers.com/topic/geoffrey-hithersay-shakespeare answers.com]. ==Alan Sabrosky rewrite was almost ready==
I didn't mention on the talk page I was soon to put up a brand new article about him because I ''thought'' there would be ''some'' warning the article was about to be deleted. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Carolmooredc/My_Sandbox_3 At my sandbox] I'm showing you current refs and the bibliography, text and more info in progress. So feel free to put it back now or when I tell you I'm ready, probably Monday, cause I'm trying to finish off higher priority now. Thanks. Problem when redirecting variational method

Hello, I created the page Variational method (disambiguation) and asked for the page Variational method to be move to Variational method (quantum mechanics). Apparently, you did this, but something went wrong and the content of the page disappeared. How to fix that? Timflutre (talk) 19:45, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes setting on articles

Hello, Anthony. I see that you set "Pending changes" on North Sydney Boys High School. However, if you look at the page for setting protection, near the top of the page you will see a pink box that says "Pending changes protection should not be enabled on any pages except Wikipedia-namespace pages that are exclusively used for testing", and, at the top of the box for actually setting Pending changes, you will see that it says "do not use on articles per RFC result". I have, therefore, removed the pending changes setting from the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:01, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

T-10 tank

It seems you have inadvertently blanked the article and page history while moving T-10 Heavy Tank to T-10 tank (both are now identical redirects). Muad (talk) 02:38, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I confirm, I requested the move, but my intent was to have the article text saved under T-10 tank. Instead it appears the result (see history) was to have the short redirect text under both T-10 Heavy Tank and T-10 tank and the article text became completely lost. Please restore the text. --Kubanczyk (talk) 12:08, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The deletion was clearly unintentional so I have restored it after seeing a post at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#Article and history blanked. Maybe you clicked "Delete and move" more than once because the move didn't seem to go through. That can be dangerous if you don't check the result afterwards. PrimeHunter (talk) 12:24, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am inclined to unblock at User talk:Gregory1132. I think the editor is well-meaning. The main thing that holds me back is a feeling that there may be WP:COMPETENCE issues, but I am inclined to think we should give the person a chance. What do you think? JamesBWatson (talk)

New medical organization

Hi

I'm contacting you because, as a participant at Wikiproject Medicine, you may be interested in a new multinational non-profit organization we're forming at m:Wikimedia Medicine. Even if you don't want to be actively involved, any ideas you may have about our structure and aims would be very welcome on the project's talk page.

Our purpose is to help improve the range and quality of free online medical content, and we'll be working with like-minded organizations, such as the World Health Organization, professional and scholarly societies, medical schools, governments and NGOs - including Translators Without Borders.

Hope to see you there! --Anthonyhcole (talk) 21:16, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Anthony. Would you please block this IP? He's obviously trolling (see his other contributions on my talk page and the earlier comments on the article talk). His only purpose here is to harass me and disrupt the article, and is probably User:Labyrinth13, who has been harassing me off and on since he was indef blocked in 2007. Thanks. What you are attempting to inset is clear and blatant vandalism. Stop trolling or you will be blocked. Parsecboy (talk) 17:12, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is not vandalizm. I have a reference. All I want to do is discuss it, but you keep removing my discussion from a talk page. I'm sorry if you are mad at someone, but this is important to me. 161.55.204.50 (talk) 17:15, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No you didn't. Link to the webpage or provide the book details. Again, there aren't any, so just stop trolling. Parsecboy (talk) 17:19, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK, but you need to leave my talk page alone. And apologizing to me, to. 161.55.204.50 (talk) 17:19, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Provide the source or leave. Period. Parsecboy (talk) 17:21, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Why you so rude? 161.55.204.50 (talk) 17:22, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Show us the source for your "contribution" or you will be blocked for vandalism and trolling. End of discussion. Parsecboy (talk) 17:24, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I did, and you are a rude man. Can I get another admin who not as rude as this? 161.55.204.50 (talk) 17:28, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The source you provided in no way substantiates the addition you want to make. Nice try, but you need something else. Parsecboy (talk) 17:30, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That your own opinion. I would like the opinion of a admins who are not so mad at somebody. 161.55.204.50 (talk) 17:31, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No, that's a simple fact. For a source to substantiate a claim, it needs to make that claim. The website you linked to does not make that claim. Keep on deflecting, though. Parsecboy (talk) 17:33, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Making formal requests for different admins to discuss my link. Thank you. 161.55.204.50 (talk) 17:34, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominaterd (or co-nominated) very few editors for the tools; if age is not dimming my recollection there have been five including your good self. All have been accepted, and all have fulfilled my expectations. I am quite certain, as I have said to you more than once, that you will fill the position admirably. I did it for you, but to be fair predominantly for the good of the encyclopedia which will be enhanced by your elevation to the clean-up crew. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 17:58, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is the first "project" that Anthony and I have crossed paths on, and I can't think of a better one to start with. I think it is healthy when the two nominators and the candidate aren't part of a single group, and represent a larger section of the community. Basalisk was my third nom, all successful. Monty, who is there now, is my fourth. Personally, I feel very good about the 2012 "crop" of admin, even if I'm one of them. I think we are very fortunate to have a great amount of diversity in the admin selection this year. And Anthony, by all means, you are welcome to comment on any future candidates that I review or ask my input on any you have in mind. I have a back log right now, having been on vacation, but I hope to start working on that this coming week. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 03:13, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with Galexia deletion due to 2008 discussion. Galexia in 2012 is now a contribution to pop-culture from radio to album chartings'

Hello Dr. Bradbury, As a large fan of Galexia I created the band's wikipedia article - Prior to its deletion I had many sources such as interviews, photos of amazon.com chart positions, 2009's Album of The Year award presented by "Audio Oddyssey United Kingdom". I believe the page should be considered for restoration and allow myself, other music fans familiar with Galexia and the general Wikipedia moderator base to reference the citations as many articles, photos, videos and press content can be found via Google search. - The next Galexia album still has a page and I believe my Band page was well written in comparison, but needed the rest of the biography, citations, and information that I was slowly gathering to create an A+ article about one of the (in my, and many listeners opinion) most innovative band's to come out of obscurity and become signed to a major label with experimental music, and making it a success. I would appreciate a response back when you have time, as I'd like to add further information along with photos and interviews. - The page was initially deleted from what I can see as being "non-notable persons" back in the 2006-2008 era, I was not even a fan yet back then so I can agree with the deletion back then as Galexia was releasing the debut album. Now Galexia is releasing a third and final album under Atlantic Records after selling a combined Gold amount of the first two albums combined, Now In Technicolor! (The albums name, with the single "Hey Hey, Takei!") is expected by analysts to sell 150 thousand units in the end of Q4 2012 and first half of Q1 2013. Perhaps we can discuss the future of Galexia on WikipediA? - Galexia is mentioned if other pages with prominent stability and interesting information. I'd like to aid in sharing the band's full biography and information for the world. Thank you for the time, and I apologize for the long user talk my ADHD gets the best of me :).

I confess that in fact I removed the declined unblock request, by mistake, in the course of declining another unblock request, as you can see here. Hi, I've restored this article. I probably should have reverted the overwriting before nominating it, but I think it should stay at AfD for now, since no one seems to have noticed my comment about the previously "deleted" article. - filelakeshoe 12:47, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious (to put it mildly) block

Very likely you are watching one or more of the relevant talk pages, but just in case you aren't I thought I would mention that I have unblocked 68.46.61.211. There are certainly problems with the editing, but not the extreme sort of vandalism that would justify a six month block without any warning whatever. JamesBWatson (talk) 09:09, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

Was approached by someone you blocked ages ago on IRC, user:Carliiitaeliza, she is quiet annoying! copy pasted your reasons for blocking her. anyway, Happy New Year :D Danger^Mouse (talk) 19:01, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request regarding Ben-Jamin Newham

I request that the page be un-deleted and the deletion discussion be re-opened for the sake of having a definative discussion on the books that renders the "deletion" consensus so that future creations can be speedied under the CSD:G4 rule. Thank you for your time and patience. Hasteur (talk) 18:33, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As you wish. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:04, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Happy New Year, Anthony Bradbury

Unicorn144

I was looking at him for another reason (a dispute at Sun Myung Moon and saw that you'd deleted his latest. He's got a long string of deleted or redirected articles[2]. See also his userpage User:Unicorn144. Do you think the problem is big enough yet to start doing something about him? Dougweller (talk) 11:34, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Pastırma

Hi there. Sorry to have caused you time and labour with the pastırma move. I misread a comment on the discussion page and made that renaming. Have a Happy Year. --E4024 (talk) 20:43, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway, thanx for your compliments.I love European culture too. It's really nice to chat with you.I am logging off now.Whenever i will have some query,I will consult with you for sure.Take care..)

I awoke to my surprise to find that this article had been either A7'ed or G4'ed, it looks like both...I wrote it yesterday. It contains a sufficient number of third party references to demonstrate the band's notability, making it ineligible for an A7, and it is substantially different (I presume) than the previously deleted version, which would lift it out of G4 territory. Could you please take a second look? Thanks. Chubbles (talk) 20:33, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks. Chubbles (talk) 20:44, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Believe it or not, the redirector is a sockpuppet whom I will be having blocked shortly. He's been a bee in my bonnet for months now. Chubbles (talk) 20:45, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, there's no reason you should have noticed, but the account is demonstrating a definite pattern of behavior I've seen before. I've got an open SPI case on the matter. Chubbles (talk) 20:55, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Page on Cacique Cheese

Hello, I noticed that you've marked a page for Cacique Cheese company for speedy deletion. I'd like to make clear that I have no affiliation with this company and the page contained a simple history of the company and a link to the company's webpage, which is certainly in similarity with like-pages currently existing on wikipedia for many other similar companies in the same consumer product sector (manufacturers of cheese products). There was absolutely no "advertising" or spam on the page, and as an administrator of another wiki site (WeRelate.org), I am certainly aware of what comprises blatent advertising and spam.

I'd appreciate it if you could reverse the speedy deletion at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

Delijim (talk) 22:25, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

thank you

Thanks for the quick response to my deletion request on ISO 3166-2:IN-GO. I'll try to be more careful when creating redirects in the future. —Stepheng3 (talk) 23:42, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Anthony. Sir Geoffrey has vanished in a puff of electrons. Did we have a real article on him at one time? Now there's just a bunch of redirects that go in a circle. I found a mention of him in Special:DoubleRedirects, and when investigating, saw your name in the log. We must have had a real article at one time: see answers.com. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 22:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The fog of electrons has cleared. See my talk! EdJohnston (talk) 16:25, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
