Revision as of 04:22, 23 November 2009

Welcome to my talk page! Please feel free to leave a message here, or email me if you prefer; however, if you post here you I ask that you observe the following requests:

  • Place new messages at the bottom of the page, not at the top. This preserves the chronological order for the page.
  • Separate topic sections with a ==Descriptive header==
  • Sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~).
  • BE POLITE. I am a person, not a computer. I do have feelings, and they can be hurt.
  • Solicitors are welcome here, but do not twist my arm to do something. Its my decision, not yours.
  • If you need/want my input on a matter outside of this page then please leave a link to the page in question.
  • Did I delete your page? For CSD, click here; for AFD click here and follow the instructions.
  • I will consider reasonable request for rollback rights. If you would like rollback rights, leave a message here explaining why you want rollback rights and I will review it.
  • Do not post in the archive(s). I will not answer any post placed on a page that is mothballed.
  • Unless otherwise noted I will respond on your talk page, not mine.

Quick question on the Colorado class

Hi, Tom. I saw that you added the individual ship notes in the article, but I have a question about Washington's entry. The citation at the end of the paragraph; do you have the page number? I'd like to standardize the reference to fit the rest of them (i.e., "author last name, p. ___"), but the footnote doesn't currently have the page number in it. Thanks. Parsecboy (talk) 22:13, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I pulled Washington's entry almost word for word from our currently existing page on Washington. If the page is not listed there then I would not know. Perhaps MBK or The Ed17 would know. Sorry I can not be of more help here... :/ TomStar81 (TalkSome say ¥€$, I say NO) 22:16, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, MBK added it back in Jan 08. I just asked him if he remembers the page number it was on. Thanks Tom. Parsecboy (talk) 22:38, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, I'll have to find that book, it is probably in a box, and I may not find it for 48 hours. -MBK004 04:19, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

DYK for Colorado class battleship

Updated DYK query On July 21, 2009, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Colorado class battleship, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Alt text

WP:ALT should do it. Regards, Woody (talk) 21:23, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Easy to get the hang of it really. I have started going through my old FAs/FLs adding in the alt text when I can. Certainly it is a requisite in the current FACs/FLCs so we should probably add it in to the A-Class criteria. Regards, Woody (talk) 21:48, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi Tom, You may wish to withdraw this AfD nomination - sources have been found which establish that this project is genuine (albeit under a different name) and probably meets WP:N. Nick-D (talk) 10:34, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Stealth Blimp

Why do you keep butchering the stealth blimp page? Hyper formance (talk) 17:48, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

I can show numerous examples of wiki pages that link to discussion forums. The stealth blimp discussion forum is non-promotional/non-profit. It is highly relevant in steering individuals who have seen something they believe to be the stealth blimp to a central location. Hyper formance (talk) 18:49, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

It wont be "WP:CRYSTAL" for much longer. I know two well known authors that are doing full time research on it at this very moment. Hyper formance (talk) 19:15, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:Gundam

Well, another few articles I have created was merged/deleted without my knowledge as well. It seems like a good idea to notify the creator of each article on discussions, but I guess no one in that discussion thought about that at the time. I will make a note for that. For the mean time, I guess you can also check out WP:GUNDAM discussions and see if any other things you are interested in but no one notified you about. MythSearchertalk 06:20, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: SR-71 Blackbird

This looks great, but I would suggest not using ref 6, 7, 9 for now. It is of great concern at the SR-71 article that fictional appearances itself should not be used as ref, and only secondary sources claiming the SR-71 featured in such story (say, if modern marvels mentioned the SR-71 appeared in Tom Clancy's novel, ref 10 is kinda doing the job well on this issue.) —Preceding signed comment added by MythSearchertalk 01:44, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Take your time, it seems like the heat have died down and after the Afd, no random people came to add in the Transformer entry, yet. —Preceding signed comment added by MythSearchertalk 08:11, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

The Indian Stammering Association

Hi Tom,

TISA is a non-profit organization for stutterers in India. And although I am promoting it here, the intention is not to earn any profit, but to be able to reach as many stammerers as possible.

TISA is not a fly-by-night operator. It's a respectable organization in India, and it has received good press coverage, you can check it here - http://www.stammer.in/menu-tisa-in-news/43-cat-print-media.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ntomer (talkcontribs) 06:50, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

I am the webmaster of this site, and I have mailed to Wikipedia, giving it permission to use text from this site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ntomer (talkcontribs) 07:14, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

So please treat it accordingly.

Iowa class battleship

Just a heads up in case you haven't noticed, but 24.2.62.58 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) has been making some edits to this page that you should go through and add in the proper formatting so they are of FA-quality. -MBK004 05:57, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

He is also making the same edits to Battleship, another FA, so perhaps some education is in order... -MBK004 22:50, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Re Sanity check

Thank you Tom, your kind words are very encouraging. There's certainly no danger of me becoming discouraged with editing, and I immensely enjoy being part of milhist - it's one of the most supportive, friendly, and professional places on Wikipedia, and a real refuge from some of the drama elsewhere. As I recently said to someone else though, we're all human and I suppose it's only natural to start questioning yourself when dealing with unusually tenacious POV-pushing, especially when the editors involved have done some good work. The block I gave out expires next week, so I'll be keeping a close eye on how things develop. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 08:01, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Academy essay

I've been talking to Burningview on my talk page about an essay he has drafted for the Academy. I don't think it's quite there but your input on the essay would be welcomed.  Roger Davies talk 04:23, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

RE:Your draft

Greetings TomStar81, First of all I want to say that I'm impressed by how well organized and coordinated this whole project is. I've been aware of the MilitaryHistory project for awhile now, but it wasn't until recently I decided to join. When I joined I noticed "The Academy" was a new addition you guys were starting up, so I looked to see if I could contribute. The purpose of the essay I wrote was to give an overview of the project, explaining "why we do what we do" sort of speaking. It could still use some work though. Additionally, It could be used as a recruiting tool also, but I let you guys decide. I'm not that great of writer so if you guys want to add or change anything to it, feel free. I hope I cleared things up if not please comment back. Burningview (talk) 13:03, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

It could still be improved though, but I'm out of ideas. I guess its alright like it is, but I noticed some of the essays content is similar another one you wrote about our project purpose and all. Burningview (talk) 02:05, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Operation British

The article Operation British has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOT violation. Extensive plot information with no out-of-universe context. The fictional event actually occurs before the series begins and simply referred or described by the narrator during the first few episodes.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Farix (Talk) 22:07, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Operation British, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Operation British. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Farix (Talk) 22:12, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Go for GA on Massachusetts, although at the current backlog, we may not have a review for a month so there is plenty of time for more improvement. -MBK004 05:51, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestion, I've been meaning to write another section for the advice to coordinators for almost six months now, but looking at the drive it seems as though someone else has already claimed it (but not written yet). We'll see who gets to it first or there may be two and I'll make mine intermediate or advanced instead of beginner level. -MBK004 06:17, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Just more recognition, especially considering we had no idea about that fact before we started the research! While it isn't as significant as Durova finding dead bodies in an image restoration, it still is somewhat significant in the scheme of things. -MBK004 20:37, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I've reviewed this article for GA status. There are some minor issues which I trust can be cleaned up pretty easily. Once the bulk of those are sorted out, I'll pass the article. Good work and congrats in advance. Protonk (talk) 23:32, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

DYK 16"/45 caliber Mark 6 gun

I have replied at the DYK page. I might be absolutely wrong in my question, you'll see. Things also got a bit confused there because some editor altered placing US in the hook while I was writing a message (I noticed US jumped after I saved the comment, which looked like magic :). Honestly, when I wrote my 1st comment there I thought you mean by WWII the US action in WWII only. This could be wrong assumption on my side. Cheers. Materialscientist (talk) 12:01, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I decided to reply here rather than at DYK or both. (i) Ref. 6 doesn't say seaborne, thus seaborne might be omitted (if true) from DYK hook (ii) I have no access to ref. 5 and couldn't check ref. 4 because p. 224 is the last page of the book (wrong page number?) and I couldn't find the claim by searching that google book - most pages are closed for preview. I'm Ok to accept those refs. in good faith, but please check yourself first. Materialscientist (talk) 12:27, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't DANFS support the claim as well? (link) —Ed (TalkContribs) 19:30, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
I am happy with the fact and have only two nitpicking argument: (i) if you can generalize the statement, please remove seaborne from the hook (if not then not), (ii) check p. 224 in ref.4 (frustrating not to find it having a google book link). Materialscientist (talk) 00:52, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Tom, you mentioned Pheadriel's "Today's Wikipedian" award in this, but shouldn't it be Rlevse now since he has continued the award since Sharon's retirement? -MBK004 14:25, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Alt text riddle

That template needs to be updated to support alt text. It's protected, so I made an {{editprotected}} request at Template talk:Infobox nrhp #Add alt text support for accessibility. You can use that request as a model if this happens to you with some other infobox in the future. Eubulides (talk) 02:52, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

That editprotected request is now done, so {{Infobox nrhp}} should support alt text now. Eubulides (talk) 05:18, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Missouri grounding incident

I assume you know that the clock is now ticking on keeping the FT, you have three months from today to get the article to FA or the topic will be demoted per WP:WIAFT. -MBK004 04:34, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

I have faith, just drop a note on Ed and Parsec's talk pages about it. I'm still going to have to get the ball rolling on the retention period. I'll contact whoever really runs FTC to do the things necessary. -MBK004 04:43, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

You have no idea how close the article was to becoming 3,000,000; you created it during the exact 60 seconds that the actual one was when comparing the histories USS Missouri grounding incident (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) and Beate Eriksen (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), and the ensuing press coverage: [1] -MBK004 08:44, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

A big argument that has some impact on our editing is here. -MBK004 21:15, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

One more thing, Sandy has identified Battleship as an FA needing an FAR, and The Land (talk · contribs) has been inactive for a few weeks. Is this one salvageable? -MBK004 21:21, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Good thing to hear about the sourcing, there are some pretty bare sections. In another note, Sandy has responded on her talk page to you with some advice. -MBK004 22:38, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, nobody believes anything I say, and think that I'm rampaging around vandalising and trashing everything (probably people give me these jobs as a poisoned chalice so I can take the blame or whatever as people think I'm a troll, and my opinions were never hidden), but whatever, I'll rant. Sandy went and posted warnings to the talk pages of articles with five different tags on them: Wikipedia:Featured_articles/Cleanup_listing. The number of variety of tags is not a good rank of FA-endangeredness. A lot of the articles high up on that list are well-cited, which is why the odd uncited sentence sticks out and is usually tagged for cites, whereas a lot of heavily citation-lacking articles like Fauna of Australia aren't, because there is no point in tagging almost every sentence. Bodyline has four problems listed, but only four sentences are unaccounted for. Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport and Rail transport in India were removed for having 75%+ home-made or non-independent sources, but neither have any tags. A lot of the weakest articles sent to FAR had little/no tags before they were nominated; I mean most unreferenced start-class articles (and thus FAs), nobody adds [citation needed] everywhere. YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 06:06, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

It's hardly likely to be the first one targeted. Most of the ones at FAR are the least cited ones, with about 30%+ completely uncited paragraphs. YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 06:06, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I discovered your point myself when reviewing the article; Both Missouri and Wisconsin were in worse shape when they were on the list back in 05/06. Truth be told Battleship is in pretty good condition, the only 'problem' such as there were is that the article has not had a eyes on it for a review in any official capacity since passing its FAC back in 07. I even remark to MBK004 about his exact point, when he asked if we could save the article I had a look through it and the answer was yeah, because its in pretty good condition all things considering. I do appreciate you leaving me the message though, it helped me get a better handle on the big picture here. TomStar81 (Talk) 19:43, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Well I can't really help you with the content I know nothing about military tech/strategy/tactics so if it wasn't comprehensive or had undue weight I wouldn't know, but in terms of % completeness of the refs matching up to the content, there are a lot more with a higher % of unreferenced content, see WP:URFA that are likely to be picked out. There are a few people who do a lot on boats, so it's really up to you guys to find any content problems in there. A lot of FAs I wrote, some even only last year, afterwards I found more information and realised it wasn't strictly, even if nobody else at the 2008 FAC knew, so I started working on them (one of them ballooned from 10 to 30k of prose after I found a whole paper on it) ... On some old 2004 FARs I tried to reference like Lake Burley Griffin and Australia at the Winter Olympics, once I looked up the book I found out that there was a lot missing, even though the nominator didn't appear to notice this. I'm guessing guys like Bellhalla, MBK, The ed etc have read a lot, so if there is something missing, and if you guys don't know about it and don't take the initiative yourself, then non-maritime enthusiasts probably wouldn't have noticed either. If you deliberately go slack on research, which isn't/won't be the case, then the reviewer wouldn't know, not that you would take advantage of this. YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 03:13, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
"Not that you would take advantage of this" LOL. I can relate with Design 1047 battlecruiser; I found some missing info in Allied Battleships in World War II, which I added most of just the other day. I also discovered that the article was in the wrong chronological order, of all things to be off. I'd love to blame the odd organization of Noot's article, but... —Ed (TalkContribs) 03:30, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Nice job on this article! I really enjoyed reading it! Location (talk) 04:55, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Why were the articles deleted?

You deleted the article on the Canon PowerShot SX10 IS and the article on the SX1 and you said it was because it had "No meaningful, substantive content". I actually found the articles to be quite helpful, although I have not been on them for a long time, so I can't really remember much of what they said. Could you please give me an example of what kind of meaningful, substantive content they lacked? If there is no good reason why they shouldn't be restored, I would like them back. --The High Fin Sperm Whale (talk) 04:12, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

P.S. They weren't my articles.
At the time the articles were deleted they had consisted of a single line that was meant to serve as a placer for a better article to be added later on. Since there was no meaningful substantive content I deleted the article in accordance with the tagged deletion request on the page. On the matter of restoration: the articles are now redirects, and they are better off for being so. I will not restore the versions I deleted, as those will only be re-deleted by the first admin who finds the articles. TomStar81 (Talk) 02:19, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
But then where on Wikipedia can information be found on those cameras, since the article on Canon PowerShot S only has information on a table? --The High Fin Sperm Whale (talk) 19:03, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
In the article you linked to above. If you feel this coverage to be inadequate then be bold and update the page so it more adequately reflects the camera models. TomStar81 (Talk) 23:23, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
I would like to do that, but the problem is, I got all my information from the articles. --The High Fin Sperm Whale (talk) 15:18, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

I am starting to be really annoyed with some of these editors. The problem with our viewpoint is, the closer we actually get to the real release date, the more official the sources will be, and the less reasons why the stance that we are taking will be relevant. It is really annoying how people ignore the comments that we are putting up on the page and refusing to discuss it on the talk page. We will see. Oldag07 (talk) 02:26, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Sir, I am truly honoured by your vote of confidence [3]. Unfortunately other obligations are limiting the amount of time I can give to Wikipedia, so I am afraid I could not give WP:MHC the time it deserves. Normally I would jump at the chance to serve MILHIST as an elected coordinator, however I only want to do it if I can give the project 100%, which I cannot do right now. For the coordinators,  Roger Davies talk 22:09, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks and a request!

Thanks for your service as coordinator on WPr Military History for the last six months. Great job, the Wikiproject has matured some more. Lots more needs to be done though.

Would you consider giving a para here on what you planned to do, what you could achieve, what gave you happiness, what irritated you and your suggestions for the road ahead to the new team?

All the best for the new elections!

AshLin (talk) 04:20, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

What I planned do was what I always do: help out as much as I can. Every little bit helps as they say, and god knows we need the help. I feel like I achieve a lot this term, I have tried to keep the ACR process active by adding my two cents and introduced the FAC toolbox for the process to help editors locate problematic links and sources prior to going to FAC. I also introduced the working groups concept to help informal groups of people get together to improve articles or keep better tabs on a certain cluster of articles. I was happy to see that the project has continued to set the bar for high standards, and equally happy to watch the wiki break 3,000,000 articles. I was a little irritated that the we were not able to claim the feat, and personally a little irritated/disappointed that I missed having the 3,000,000th article by a total of five articles (although to be fair I was unaware of exactly how close we were to three million articles when I saved the 3,000,005th article; if I had known that we were that closed I would have saved a little earlier :) For the road ahead, as it appear at this point I will be the new Lead Coordinator, my suggestions are still being drafted. On a preliminary level I am planning to look into the issue of the faltering membership numbers and get the academy up and running. I am also giving serious thought to incorporating a formal department of audio/visual media to better handle the images, videos, and sounds we have. I would like to see a workshop program introduced to allow our editors to expand their knowledge into areas like writing html, image restoration, and file conversion. In the case of the the audio visual material (if this actually works) we can better approach those with historic or hard to find images, documents, and other audio/visual material and see about getting such institutions to upload their material to the commons so we can have a crack at restoring them. As far as the team and the road ahead goes, I would like to see us make a more active effort to get other projects with whom we share a task force involved in our day to day operations, and I am going to propose that we look into mothballing largely inactive task forces. I would also like us to make a more conscious effort to get new info into the project by identifying and gaining access to more reliable information. I would also like to see the bulk of our attention shift from the emphasis we have long placed on new material to improving the material we have here already, such a move would not only improve article quality but also the opinions held concerning the use of Wikipedia as a source. This is all general stuff of course, but I hope to adress bits and pieces of it as the term goes on. TomStar81 (Talk) 06:49, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for your response. I personally liked best your suggestion to go after more material and bring it out into the 'open'. All the best for your re-election. AshLin (talk) 13:40, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Congrats!

Lead Coordinator of the
Military history Project
October 2009 — March 2010

Congrats on your election as Lead Coordinator of the Military history Project! In honour of your achievement, I present you with these stars. I wish you and all staff luck in the coming term. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 00:41, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Echoing: congratulations Tom! You'll be a great lead. Cheers dude, —Ed (talkcontribs) 00:47, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
Let me echo the congratulations as well. You've trod a very successful path as a coordinator assisting both Roger and myself; and now it's your (well-deserved) turn to stand under the spotlight. We all expect great things from you! Kirill [talk] [pf] 04:07, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
And from me as well, you've worked up to this for quite a while, so now you've reached the show! You may want to pen something for the Bugle, since Roger did so last time the elections occurred in the March 2009 newsletter as the Lead Coordinator. For ease: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/News/Newsletter_September_2009 -MBK004 04:47, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
Congratulations my friend! You have worked long and hard to earn this role, and I cannot think of any one of us who is better suited to the role of Lead Coordinator. You have truly earned this. Cam (Chat) 03:28, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
I agree; the project's in safe hands. Don't neglect your studies though! EyeSerenetalk 08:49, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about that Tom! I guess we're just all saying that we understand you have other priorities, and don't ever feel that you're letting the project when you need to put RL first :) I'm the last one to talk though - I was on the military history society and the shooting, boxing, parachuting, and badminton teams at uni, so how I graduated I'll never know... EyeSerenetalk 09:15, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
While a little late, I still wanted to say congrats! And I wish you well through the last few weeks of this school semester; it's the right thing to do to concentrate on your classes. --Rosiestep (talk) 17:51, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Congratulations and good luck with the studies. Here's to a broadside of featured topics under your leadership. Dhatfield (talk) 19:47, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Missouri grounding

Tom, I know your final destination for the article is FA, but I'm going to encourage you to take the article to GA first, then A-FA. Reason being is that we have until 17 November to get the article to GA or FA to be able to keep the Iowa class topic featured and I think we would have an easier time at GA for the limited purpose of keeping the topic. While I know that we like having all of the articles in the topic featured, with your impending break, I would think that would be a secondary thought. Also, this article is your ticket to a WP:FOUR award but you need to take it to GA and FA in order to get it. -MBK004 05:00, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you so much for the Barnstar Tom! I really appreciate it. Have a Great Day! Lord Oliver The Olive Branch 15:55, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Jack E. Foley

Hi Tom! Congrats on becoming lead coordinator of MILHIST project. I've created a new page about Capt. Jack E. Foley, and it seems to be in the range of the Military History Project. Is it possible for the new article to be a stub in the project. I'd be glad if you'd take a look and respond. Cheers!--Martin (talk) 01:28, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi there! I've tagged it with the {{WPMILHIST}} tag. Cheers, —Ed (talkcontribs) 04:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

USS Missouri manning and organization

Tom: In response to an earlier request on the Iowa class battleship talk page, I have been working on a new article which is a snapshot of the manning and organization of a recommissioned Iowa class battleship. I have the page to the point where it is ready for review and fine-tuning. Friendly edits are welcome; go to User:Ehbowen/Iowa class battleship manning. I look forward to hearing what you (and others) have to contribute. Ehbowen (talk) 03:04, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello there! Tom is on break, and I don't feel qualified to look that over. :-) Try emailing him using the "E-mail this user" in the toolbox instead. Cheers, —Ed (talkcontribs) 04:51, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

As Halloween is my favorite holiday, I just wanted to wish those Wikipedians who have been nice enough to give me a barnstar or smile at me, supportive enough to agree with me, etc., a Happy Halloween! Sincerely, --A NobodyMy talk 18:43, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

The article Admiral Watkins has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Extremely minor character who plays little role in the overall plot. Not appropriate to merge.

—Farix (t | c) 00:29, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much

And to show I'm not a total slacker outside of media, put up an article peer review request today. You might find it entertaining. ;) Cheers! Durova355 22:27, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
