This article page lists the singles discography of Michael Jackson, which includes peak chart positions of singles released by Jackson for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Australia and New Zealand; also, RIAA certifications, BPI certifications, SNEP certifications, IFPI Germany certifications, CRIA certifications, ARIA certifications and RIANZ certifications.

Note that in some countries such as the United Kingdom and Canada, the value of the awards has changed over time with the certifications criteria depending on year of release of the single. In the United States, the criteria don't depend by year of release of the single and the current criteria is active from 1989.

Notes:

  • 1 Promo-only release.
  • 2 Released only outside of the US and Canada.
  • 3 Released only in the US. "Love's Gone Bad" only in Canada.
  • 4 Michael and Jermaine Jackson were not credited on the charts for their vocal contributions to "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell. Michael Jackson and the Weather Girls were not accredited in "Centipede" by Rebbie Jackson.
  • 5 Jackson was not credited on the charts for his vocal contributions (except to "Eaten Alive" by Diana Ross that in some countries was accredited also to Jackson).
