The Andorra national football team is controlled by the Andorran Football Federation. Andorra is a relative newcomer to international football, not having played a fixture until 1996. They have recorded three victories so far against Belarus and Macedonia, all of which were at home. Only the Macedonia game was a competitive fixture. They are known as one of the most penalized teams in Europe, having received more red & yellow cards in the WC 2006 Qualifiers than any other team. Andorra are considered amongst the minnows in UEFA. There are only 171 registered footballers in Andorra of which only 42 are eligible to play for the national team.[1]
