2008 District of Columbia Democratic presidential primary

The 2008 District of Columbia Democratic primary, took place on February 12, 2008, nicknamed the "Potomac Primary" because Maryland and Virginia also hold Democratic primaries that day.[1]

Barack Obama has received the endorsements of current mayor Adrian Fenty and former mayor Marion Barry, while he and Hillary Clinton have both been endorsed by various city council members.[2]

Barack Obama is projected the winner of the primary.[3][4]
