Generally, I'll reply here if you post here, so please watch this page if you want to see my reply. If replying on another page, use the page for Michaelbrent CollingsHi, I noticed that you made the page for Michael R. Collings. I recently made a page for his son Michaelbrent Collings. I welcome your edits if you have the time and inclination. I was going to add ISBNs to his books, but it looks like most of them don't have them. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 22:19, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

Your user pageI must admit that while I've seen you around, I don't think that I've ever looked at your user page. I just did and I have to say: well done! I wish I had one as fancy as yours. I have more of an eye for functionality/programming than I do design. Graphically, I have not progressed past Mona Lisa levels......okay, okay....that might be a fib......more like el sticky . Anyways, well done! You made it yourself I assume? --TheSandDoctor Talk 03:22, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Since there are now assessments as to whether the single-page or multi-page versions are better for the encyclopedia, the only way these assessments can proceed is if the subpages are restored. Block evasion: Statement on Social JusticeYesterday, you blocked Statement on Social Justice (talk · contribs). A new account, WokeNinja (talk · contribs), appears to be the same person -- identical extensive edits to Statement on Social Justice and nearly identical edit summaries -- and should be blocked for block evasion. (I wasn't sure whether letting the blocking admin know was correct or if there's a noticeboard I should have gone to, so please let me know if I chose the wrong approach.) Thank you.Thank you for rescuing my article. I want to be very careful not to break any rules. My article might have been deleted in any case, but the reason given was that it was deleted because I did some editing on it myself, and because I posted on my Wikipedia page that it was scheduled for deletion. So, I don't want to make either of those mistakes again. I have been active on Wikipedia since 2005, and I was kind of aware of the "no autobiography" rule, but there was information that nobody else could reasonably know. Still not sure how I should have handled that. I had never heard of the "no mentioning outside Wikipedia that an article is scheduled for deletion". That seems counter-intuitive. All the people who voted to keep know something about my specialty, which is comic strips. None of the people who voted to delete said anything about comic strips. I would appreciate any advice you have. Rick Norwood (talk) 23:49, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 special circular

Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular)ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community. Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised. We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered. For the Arbitration Committee, -Cameron11598 21:04, 4 May 2019 (UTC) Template:Z83 Japanese year in Template:Japan current era dateHello, Nihonjoe, the creator of Template:Japan current era date. The current Japanese year is Reiwa 1, but in this template, the Japanese year is still Heisei 31. Both Heisei 31 and Reiwa 1 are the same year AD 2019 in Gregorian calendar, but they are different Japanese years. Thus, please correct this mistake in this template. Thanks a lot! 157.230.243.98 02:00, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

It was just that the Wikipedia:Username policy states that usernames that are the names of posts within an organization are not allowed, as different individuals could take on the same post at different times. So I thought it is a violation. Diamond Blizzard talk 23:30, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
DYK for D. J. ButlerOn 13 May 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article D. J. Butler, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that D. J. Butler worked as a corporate attorney for more than ten years before beginning his career as a speculative fiction writer? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/D. J. Butler. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, D. J. Butler), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. Utsubo is a fictional character, appeared also in Yoshitsune (NHK Taiga drama) del 1966 (ja:義経 (NHK大河ドラマ)). Please, can you create her own voice, with a detailed story, because she is a very important character in this series? Thank you. --80.181.64.26 08:33, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
