Kōshō is a crater on Mercury in the east of Suisei Planitia. It has a diameter of 65 kilometers.[1] Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1985. Kōshō is named for the Japanese sculptor Kōshō, who lived in the 13th century CE.[2]

Kōshō is located northeast of the crater basin of Shakespeare and the slightly smaller Janáček and nearly north of Strindberg.
