Did anyone go down to the celebration of the return of Team Singapore at Raffles City/Orchard today and took pictures? If so, can you please upload pictures of the three table tennis players? (the same goes for Wang Yuegu). Then there'll be free images! Yay! ~Milnivri~ 14:12, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone needing help uploading free images on to Wikipedia is welcome to leave a message on my talk page or e-mail me at jack.at.wikipedia AT gmail DOT com. — Cheers, JackLee talk 14:31, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If Wikipedia did not have a picky anti-fair use brigade, we would already have uploaded a photo of Feng (and Wang). (She is quite pretty, to be honest.) Good luck to anyone trying to take a free photo of her. --J.L.W.S. The Special One (talk) 13:34, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Have to disagree with your view of Wikipedia's fair-use policy, I'm afraid. The policy protects the copyright owned by people in images, and also makes reuse of Wikipedia content more feasible. If the policy was too liberal people wouldn't bother to create or locate free images. — Cheers, JackLee talk 16:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think there's a bunch of locals who have uploaded photos on flickr. Just have to ask for their permission... Chensiyuan (talk) 11:31, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are there some new photos up? I did find one photograph taken during the Olympics some time back and asked the uploader, but didn't get any response. — Cheers, JackLee talk 14:12, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, have managed to get a photograph from a kind Flickr member. (We still need photos of Wang Yuegu...) — Cheers, JackLee talk 09:27, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
