Tenke Mining

Tenke Mining Corporation was a mining company with head offices in Canada.[1] The company's operations took place in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in South America. Tenke Mining was based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company was acquired by Lundin Mining Corporation effective July 4, 2007, and delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Operations
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Tenke's primary work is at a concession in the extensive Tenke Fungurume deposit of copper and cobalt in the copperbelt area in the south of the country, in Katanga Province.[2]
South America
Tenke Mining is active in exploration for gold and copper in Andes Mountains areas of south and central Chile and Argentina.
