Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sirpur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gondi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You are receiving this as you have recently added an interwiki link to a page!

Wikidata has been deployed to the English Wikipedia. Wikidata manages interwiki links on a separate project on pages such as this. This means that on Wikipedia articles there is now a language bar on the left hand side of your screen where you can edit and add links rather than adding them into the articles themselves.

If you have any questions regarding Wikidata please use the talk page Wikipedia talk:Wikidata.

Joshua Jonathan.... thanks for your words of encouragement. I am wondering throughout India and collecting few information and inculcating it in the Wikipedia (English, Hindi, Telugu & Urdu. Primarily in Urdu & Telugu)... But our GREAT EDITORS & THE GREAT GREAT ADMINS in English wikipedia simply removing the articles with just a (GREAT) mouse click........ its a great discouragement to the writers.... I am disguised with the GREAT MOUSE CLICKS. One User probably he may or may not belong to India and does or does not know about the Indic languages, and may or may not know about the Indian prominent personalities whether at national level or state level... even he has user page in blank.... started deleting the articles.... I think he is fond of deleting rather than moderating.......... particularly the three articles Syed Naseer Ahamed, Abul Irfan and Abdur Rahman Bijli (three are good writers and have their own local fame) at once...... at a stroke of mouse click, were deleted............ Simple reason is the deleter has no knowledge of and in Indic languages..... he did not see any link in his own language. Suppose a Telugu person's references may be in Telugu, not in English, he is removing or deleting the articles..... what a pity to the articles....... By whom these articles are going through.......... God bless Wikipedia particularly English Wikipedia.... Ahmed Nisar (talk) 13:15, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Unani Medical Colleges in India has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:INDISCRIMINATE - This is just a list of not particularly important information. Furthermore, it does not give a ref for any of the listed being "approved by [regulatory organizations mentioned]" so it fails WP:V too

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 198.84.253.202 (talk) 19:08, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Centre of Muslims

[edit]

As-Salam O Alaikum! Brother,

I recently created Wikiproject Centre of Muslims. It is created to improve the articles about places with more than 80% of Muslim Population. After sometime the percentage could be reduced to 50% (places with majority Muslim Population). Similar wikiprojects are working like in the case of [Australia], The only difference is that their scope is countrywide and scope of this Wikiproject is larger, i.e Muslim World.

It was put on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Centre of Muslims because of solo participant. Someone also asked that "Would Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam be interested in this project as a Geography task force?" and I think that Centre of Muslims project should be merged with Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam's Geography task force. Can you please guide me regarding this?

Thank You in anticipation! --Muhammadahmad79 (talk) 16:22, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr. Muhammadahmad79, Wa alaikum assalam. Your keenness to develop articles on Islam and Muslims is appreciated. And your endeavours are so fine to develop content in Islam related articles. I opine that there is already Islamic portal where you can contribute, develop content and beautify the readable articles. Further I opine that creating a different project or portal won't cater the need of the Islamic portal. You can develop articles in the categories "Muslim World", "Islam in Asia", "Islam in South Asia", "Muslim personalities", Muslims' contribution to the human kind/science" etc. As a wikimedian, I suggest your project to be merged with "Islam Portal". Centre of Muslims project may lead to Centre of other beliefs and mislead the scholastic vision of the wikipedia articles. So, develop Islam Portal. I saw your interest in muslim cultural centres, visit Wiki voyage and contribute there according to your interest. Best of luck.... If you are familiar with Urdu language, you can contribute in Urdu Wikipedia also. Ahmed Nisar (talk) 17:24, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank Youu! Nisar Bhai for your Kind and encouraging remarks. I'll try to contribute in Articles related to Islam and develop Islamic Portal as much as I can, InshaAllah! --Muhammadahmad79 (talk) 05:29, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
