Information icon Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Ecuadorians, did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Honorary Black men, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

could you please unblock this address? This IP belongs to a high school, and you blocked this in 2016, and the person vandalizing Wikipedia has graduated. Everyone in the 2015-16 school year has graduated. 216.56.81.195 (talk) 18:14, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You provided no objective reason to believe there'll be zero vandalism from this address going forward, despite an unrelenting series of vandalism stretching back more than a decade. Note that you aren't stopped from editing, you simply have to sign in with an account. If you don't have one, one may be created for you via WP:ACC. Yamla (talk) 18:19, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

The kids at my school are probably not gonna vandalize Wikipedia because they are much more interested in Snapchat and TikTok than to vandalize Wikipedia. If another idiot does try to vandalize from this IP, just simply block again 216.56.81.195 (talk) 18:23, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No. We've had to block this IP for long periods repeatedly for more than a decade. Every time the block expires the vandalism starts again. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 19:06, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note that we've essentially tried what you suggest. This address has been blocked eight times. That means, seven previous times, the block expired and was almost immediately followed by a resumption of vandalism. You need to provide objective reason to believe the next time will be different. It's got to be something objective (that is, something we can verify) and a whole lot stronger than "probably". --Yamla (talk) 18:42, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Why do you believe that the vandalism will happen again? I think that chances are very low for it to happen again. Please unblock this IP

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. SQLQuery me! 17:08, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your unblock requests aren't going anywhere and you are unwilling or unable to provide any objective reason to believe, after more than a decade of vandalism, there's a firm guarantee there'll be no more. This is a clear case of WP:IDHT. I have revoked talk page access for the next month. Your unblock request will be reviewed by another administrator. --Yamla (talk) 14:46, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
