Rollback granted
[edit]Hi Estar8806. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2023-06-05. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Airplaneman (talk) ✈ 23:54, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The Quene
[edit]A tag has been placed on The Quene requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Mary Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire (1646–1710) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Mary Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire (1646–1710), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:54, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

Question from Flora-cutie (10:25, 20 June 2023)
[edit]Hello I want to remove a dead link form the article and also want to change them with better websites.. How can I do this?? Can you give me brief introduction related to this.. --Flora-cutie (talk) 10:25, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @Flora-cutie I'm sorry I took some time to respond. If you're looking to change an external link you can simply click the [edit source] button on that section and remove the dead link and replace it with the website you would like to. If you're looking to edit a reference within an article text, then please see WP:HOWTOCITE.
- Also see WP:PROTECTED which demonstrates the types of pages you may not yet have permission to edit. In that case, you can make an edit request on the article's talk page.
- If you need anymore help, don't be afraid to ask. Happy editing. estar8806 (talk) ★ 02:00, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- And what if they remove the link then what should I do.. Flora-cutie (talk) 14:00, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
- Well in the case that someone were to revert your edits you should discuss why you want the change(s) to be made on either their talk page or the article's talk page (preferably the latter) and hopefully they'll respond and you can reach consensus as to whether your changes should be made or should not be made. This is generally part of the WP:CYCLE, which is not a policy but I (and many others I'm sure) consider to be good practice.
- No matter what, if someone reverts your edits do not revert them back more than once or occasionally twice (unless you're reverting obvious vandalism). To revert an edit more than 3 times is considered a WP:EDITWAR, which can cause your account to be banned if you find yourself involved in one.
- I hope this helps. Again if you have any more questions feel free to ask. Happy editing! estar8806 (talk) ★ 14:17, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

Hello. I am a writer with three books already published on Amazon. I wanted to write my profile, but the options available to select the type of article I am writing do not include "Profile." Biography is one of the options with Literature. Are those acceptable choices? --CMTELLER (talk) 23:44, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- @CMTELLER Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for coming to me with your question. A key cornerstone of the Wikipedia:Biographies of Living Persons policy is that articles about living persons should not be written by those persons. Basically, Wikipedia does not allow individuals to write articles about themselves (for more information see WP:AUTOBIO). That's why you will not find a profile section.
- Please do not write an article on yourself. If you do, it will most likely be WP:Speedy deleted. Thanks, estar8806 (talk) ★ 23:51, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

barry goralnick edit
[edit]I updated Barry Goralnick page to make the list of companies he designs for current. The list was outdated. "Goralnick designs product for a variety of premiere home and hospitality companies, including Villeroy & Boch, Watermark Designs, Currey & Company, Vanguard Furniture, Visual Comfort, and Stark Carpet" I also added his recent awards: "He has been awarded “Best Product Designer” by the ARTS Awards, the “Innovation In Design Award” from Cottages & Gardens (5-time nominee) and is a “Best of Year” Winner for Product Design from Interior Design." All of the above state facts. I don't believe there is a bias stated. GoGoProd (talk) 18:49, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- If you can provide a source for it all then it could be less biased. I do apologize, perhaps I was a bit short with reverting your edit and using a template. I should've gone ahead and helped. estar8806 (talk) ★ 18:52, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- OK. Do I need a source for each product line? If so, does it need to be a press announcement/mention or is a link to each companies website sufficient? - You would need WP:Reliable secondary sources to prove that he meets the criteria of the WP:General notability guideline. If that's the case, you still should not create the article yourself or encourage him to create one himself. But, you could put in a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles/Biography/By profession under the appropriate heading for the subject. Honours of Scotland
[edit]Looking at the category "2023 in Scotland", I notice that a section from the coronation article is included as "Presentation of the Royal Honours of Scotland to Charles III and Camilla". Might that not be a more apt title? It's a bit more consistent with "Coronation of Charles III and Camilla". Maybe strike "Royal", though, just to have "Honours of Scotland". Just a thought. Cheers, Tim O'Doherty (talk) 14:28, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Tim O'Doherty That would be a fine title. It was one I had considered, but I went with what I did to be more concise. I hadn't thought of the consistency with the coronation article, so that may be better. estar8806 (talk) ★ 14:30, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

- @Ben Netzer First of all, welcome to wikipedia! To answer your question, you should be able to move most pages if your account has at least ten edits and is at least four days old by clicking the "move" button, which may be located under the "tools" dropdown menu. If you're unable to move a page yourself, then you can follow the instructions to request a move at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Page mover granted
[edit]Hello, Estar8806. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving a redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect
is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.
Useful links:
- Wikipedia:Requested moves
- Category:Requested moves, for article renaming requests awaiting action.
If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Primefac (talk) 07:39, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Maria Walpole
[edit]Hi Estar8806. I noticed that you moved Maria, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh to Maria Walpole. The only issue that I have with this is that now it is inconsistent with the article on Anne, Duchess of Cumberland and Strathearn (formerly Anne Horton), the other "unsuitable" bride whose marriage resulted in the Royal Marriages Act 1772. So, what do you think? Should both pages be at their maiden (or former) names, or should we include their titles? Because it does not make sense to do it one way for one of them and another way for the other one. Keivan.fTalk 13:29, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Keivan.f, thanks for pointing that out. The only reason I had moved that was her maiden name was slightly more common (here's the ngrams[1]). Looking at Anne, it looks like her former name is more common than both her royal married name and her maiden name [2]. It'd probably be best to move that too considering WP:CONSISTENT with Maria and WP:COMMONNAME. estar8806 (talk) ★ 13:33, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- The figures are there. It seems that their former/maiden names are more common. So, feel free to move the page. I just wanted to bring this to your attention because inconsistency in such cases bothers me a little bit. Keivan.fTalk 13:37, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- Absolutely get it. The last thing I would want to do is create inconsistency because it does bother me as well. I'll move Anne's page too. Thanks for letting me know! estar8806 (talk) ★ 13:39, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

Orchard Park Edits
[edit]Apparently you are not aware that the reason the was and Orchard Park (town), New York is that there is an Orchard Park (village), New York. Therefore, the edit that you made was not constructive and makes it confusing for anyone looking for the town or village. So, would you kindly review your edit and and correct the situation. Thank you. BuffaloBob (talk)
- @BuffaloBob I was very much aware. Community consensus some time ago was that villages within towns are not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, while the town is. Here's the discussion if you're interested. [[3]] I was simply following community consensus, which has been applied to almost, if not every other situation like this in the state. Anybody looking for the village who ends up at the town will be quickly redirected by the WP:HATNOTE. Thanks,--estar8806 (talk) ★ 03:04, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Question from Halfatoneoff on Anouska Hempel (07:09, 14 September 2023)
[edit]Hello. Apparently, you’re my mentor. Pleased to e-meet you. This is my first edit and it’s quite random but interesting and fun - very much like myself. It’s for the Anouska Hempel entry. I’d like to add a section ‘References in Popular Culture’.
Somebody who used to work for Anouska told me that in the TV Series Absolutely Fabulous, Anouska Hempel is the real life reference for Kalishia Klegg, an ‘actress’ with whom it’s implied that Patsy has starred in a soft porn film. However, she is now very grand and married to an extremely rich man, and about to become Saffy’s mother-in-law. --Halfatoneoff (talk) 07:09, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
War in Sudan (2023)
[edit]This article is linked from the main page. For future reference, please be aware of WP:MPNOREDIRECT. To that end, let admins move those articles so that the redirect from the main page can be fixed straight away. You could post at WP:ERRORS to get an admin to move the article for you; after all, that’s where those issues end up if you move it yourself. Schwede66 17:40, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. I probably should've let an admin close the RM, but I didn't realize it was move protected. So to that end, I didn't move it myself and had to put it in for admin move at RM/TR. I kinda figured that the admin that ended up moving the page would be aware of the main page link, but I should've mentioned that in my request, so that's my bad. estar8806 (talk) ★ 20:40, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

Question from Blooisbest (16:14, 6 October 2023)
[edit]Hello,
I'm writing about the Mount Ağrı article. This mountain is currently located in Turkiye's borders right now. But everything including it's name is probably edited by Armenians and that's not acceptable while the Mountain Ağrı is currently in Turkish soils. Do we call the mountains with their old names or the names given by another nation? I think no. Ararat is one of the many SIDE names of Mount Ağrı and is NOT the name of the mountain currently.. Can you help me about this?
Best regards. --Blooisbest (talk) 16:14, 6 October 2023 (UTC)

Move discussion
[edit]Thank you for taking the time to review this page move discussion. Considering that there was no comment on the discussion, I would like to remind that Wikipedia is not based on vote counting of supporters vs opponents. The opponents of the move have failed to provide evidence on how their positions is based on Wikipedia guidelines; while supporters of the move have cited the relevant Wikipedia guideline and demonstrated how the new name is supported by overwhelming majority reliable sources. In particular, the main argument is present in this guideline WP:POVNAME: "the fact that a given description has effectively become a proper name (and that proper name has become the common name), generally overrides concern that Wikipedia might appear as endorsing one side of an issue." Looking forward to hearing your opinion on this. Makeandtoss (talk) 11:51, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- You're correct, !votes do not a consensus make, but those !votes are helpful in helping editors close discussions by gauging how much support a certain argument has. I've written a post-close elaboration to clarify. estar8806 (talk) ★ 15:06, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Estar8806: Thank you for the detailed elaboration, objectivity and your time. I genuinely appreciate it. Please note that the quotes argument was made by one editor, not multiple; and that multiple sources that I referenced do not use quotes when referring to the protests such as BBC and this scientific paper (also other sources [4] and [5]). Furthermore, the use of quotes is not a justified counter-argument, as looking at the case of The Troubles for example, more than 25 years later, they are still being referred to in quotes by reliable sources such as Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Reuters and Washington Post - to name a few. There are many other examples. Overall, the opposers have not provided any valid Wikipedia guideline-based counterarguments to the main argument that the Great March of Return is used in a significant majority of English-language sources. - You make a fair point. I'll relist the discussion considering it didn't yet have a relist. I don't see the consensus changing drastically, but there's no harm in giving it a chance. I will, however, point out that we are not obliged to always use the most common name, Diana, Princess of Wales being an example of using a lesser common name for whatever reason may be the case at the time. estar8806 (talk) ★ 17:42, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Again, thank you, I greatly appreciate your objectivity. In response to that, I would point out that royalty has specific naming conventions in Wikipedia, and thus the more relevant analogy would be with other historical events. I have added the elaboration on the quotes counterargument there to the discussion. Makeandtoss (talk) 16:29, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- You're correct, though we often ignore those conventions. Nonetheless, it's a pointless argument. I appreciate your civility in bringing this discussion back to my attention. Happy editing! estar8806 (talk) ★ 16:35, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

Erroneous page moves
[edit]Hi Estar8806,
I see you just closed three discussions and moved a bundle of pages from project namespace into main namespace per request, which is evidently against WP:SUB. As for the WikiProject to merge into, it should be Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink rather than WikiProject:Food and drink. I'm reverting these moves and leaving this for a further discussion. However, I would suggest asking for further consensus because a clear opposition exists in Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Wine#Requested_move_18_October_2023 per Anachronist and Horse Eye's Back and the extant page Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink/Breakfast task force is holding the correct target in Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Breakfast#Requested_move_18_October_2023. Wikipedia:WikiProject:Food and drink/Breakfast task force
[edit]Hello, Estar8806,
Is there a reason why you didn't leave a redirect when you moved all of these pages? Because you chose not to leave a redirect, it created about 40 pages with broken redirects that I'm about to delete. Before you decide NOT to leave a redirect, please check "What links here" and if there are redirects to that page, then leave a redirect behind. It would be good to do this with every page move unless the article/page is newly created and is unlikely to have any redirects. Creating broken redirects just leaves a lot to clean up after a page move. And please do this with Talk pages, too...for some reason, I find page movers will leave a redirect for the main page but not for the Talk page and they can also have redirects pointing to them as well. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:52, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Liz,
- I'm so sorry if I've caused you a mess to clean up. I chose not to leave a redirect as I mistakenly thought they were redirects I had created in error. I hadn't realized most Wiki Project's don't have a colon after "WikiProject" and so I felt I had to correct that. Then there was a stale task force (with only one contributor and no relevant information) from about ten years ago at the correct name, so that had to be swapped and redirected. Looking at the task force page there's some clean up to be done with the deleted redirects. Thank you for assistance in cleaning up this mess and I apologize for whatever headaches I've caused you. estar8806 (talk) ★ 21:10, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Okay I think everything on the actual task force page is fixed now. Thank you so much for all your help. If anything else comes up that I can fix, I'll happily do it. This is my mess and I'll clean up whatever I can. estar8806 (talk) ★ 21:25, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

- Good grief I cannot get it right today. I think somebody's in need of a wikibreak. I'll go ahead and relist it. Thanks, estar8806 (talk) ★ 22:23, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
Hello Estar8806. I saw your non-admin closure of the above move. Based on the two links provided by the proposer, I understand why you did it. I feel it is safe to presume that you were unaware of significant additional information not discussed in the page move discussion. The lack of anyone commenting contributed to this. I missed the open discussion because I have been quite inactive lately.
Whomever maintains the website for the MD of Opportunity is seemingly unaware that the official name of the community is the Hamlet of Wabasca. This is confirmed in at least four official bylaws - the hamlet boundary bylaw, the Hamlet of Wabasca Area Structure Plan (ASP), the MD’s Land Use Bylaw (LUB) (do a word searches for "Wabasca" and "Desmarais"), and the MD’s Municipal Development Plan (MDP) (do the same word searches). In fact, the 2020 MDP unambiguously confirms that "Wabasca-Desmarais" is the former name of the Hamlet of Wabasca (see first paragraph in Section 6.2 on PDF page 32 of 63). The only usage of "Wabasca-Desmarais" in the ASP is in reference to the Wabasca-Desmarais Healthcare Centre/Hospital.
The fact that the text on the MD webpage provided by the proposer uses "Wabasca-Desmarais", "Wabasca/Desmarais", and "Wabasca" interchangeably provides little confidence what the actual name of the community is and doesn’t verify that "Wabasca" has been renamed back to "Wabasca-Desmarais", especially coupled with the evidence above.
As for the Statistics Canada link, StatCan is not the definitive source for the name of the hamlet. They often use old names long after they are changed. In fact, I informed them of numerous name corrections in preparing for the 2021 census and they processed them (i.e., "Pigeon Mountain" was renamed as "Dead Man's Flats" in the 1980s but persisted under its old name at StatCan for 30 years through to the 2016 census). Rather, the Government of Alberta is the definitive source for hamlet names. The 2023 edition of the annual Municipal Codes publication is the reliable, secondary source that verifies the hamlet’s name continues to be "Wabasca", which is consistent with all the bylaws referenced above.
Accordingly, please reopen and relist the discussion (and undo the move if this process allows). I will then post the above evidence as a latecomer to the dance. Cheers, Hwy43 (talk) 06:07, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

- When adding a hyperlink in a wikipedia article I am editing, how do I hyperlink to a particular section of a wikipedia article instead of just the entire article? I am using the visual editor. I don't want, for example, to have the hyperlink go to the top of the page of the wikipedia article, I would want it to go to a specific section within that article. Codeconjurer777 (talk) 07:04, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Codeconjurer777 To link to a specific section within an article use a "#". For example, you could reach the "History" section in the article United States with a link United States#History. estar8806 (talk) ★ 12:13, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
Question from Amaarshahr (15:40, 1 November 2023)
[edit]How Do I find authentic citations --Amaarshahr (talk) 15:40, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @Amaarshahr,
- You can find authentic citations in reliable secondary sources. Please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources where there are a number of sources with their reliability. For sources not listed, it’s generally a judgement call of the editor involved. estar8806 (talk) ★ 15:49, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks @Estar8806 for your help. Amaarshahr (talk) 08:06, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
[edit]Hi Estar8806. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at the permissions page in case your user right is time-limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page or ask via the NPP Discord. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page, including checking for copyright violations using Earwig's copyright violation detector, checking for duplicate articles, and evaluating sources (both in the article, and if needed, via a Google search) for compliance with the general notability guideline.
- Please review some of our flowcharts (1, 2) to help ensure you don't forget any steps.
- Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:03, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

How I can put an image on a page?
(It is outdated) --Krasnaya svesda (talk) 08:56, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi, I’m new here.
I made an edit to HikVision that got removed, I’m not sure I understand what the reason the editor meant in the removal. Any ideas or recommendations are really appreciated.
Thanks

- The only objective thing I can see wrong is that you cited the source as an external link and not as a citation using the <ref> tag. For the editor's rationale, I would discuss it with them on their talk page. estar8806 (talk) ★ 23:21, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

- Unfortunately, there is no way to change that. Edits made by IP addresses cannot be changed to show a username. Luckily, this doesn't cause any problems regarding edit history, so there is no need to worry about it. estar8806 (talk) ★ 18:15, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

- Category:Requested moves, for article renaming requests awaiting action.
If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Extraordinary Writ (talk) 00:29, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Question from The Sister consulting on Wikipedia:Namespace (01:46, 30 November 2023)

- @The Sister consulting I'm assuming based on your username that the person you are intending to write about is a client? If that is true, writing a wikipedia page about a person and being paid to do so is a WP:Conflict of interest and against policy. estar8806 (talk) ★ 01:53, 30 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi! I'm just wondering when it's recommended to opt out of having a mentor. I would be fine with any answer (but no bad words). --XN-6F2AAC (talk) 12:48, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @XN-6F2AAC!
- There's no standard recommendation for when to opt out of having a mentor. Personally I never used the mentor system, I learned as I went. However, I would recommend taking advantage of having a mentor as it would make things much easier. It's just a way to ask questions and get a little help when needed. It's all just a personal choice, but there's really no downside to keeping a mentor as long as you like. estar8806 (talk) ★ 19:48, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

Close on Twitter
[edit]Hey! I noticed that you closed the move request on the talk page of Twitter as a SNOW close but made no mention of a moratorium. I feel editors may not have had enough time to consider the moratorium. I agree with the SNOW close but was wondering if you had considered the mroatorium at all. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 20:09, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf Good catch! This has been discussed so many times I saw several "snow close" !votes and didn't even see the moratorium discussion. I'll go ahead and give that a little more time. estar8806 (talk) ★ 20:13, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds good! I do agree that a SNOW close was warranted but hadn't even considered a moratorium. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 22:15, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Well it appears it was reclosed with the rationale that a moratorium is not appropriate to discuss in a move discussion. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 22:43, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

Question from RushingGold (13:11, 30 December 2023)
[edit]Hi Estar8806, it is very good to have you as a mentor. My question is that what if I make an edit on any article and somebody reverts it saying I am wrong or something, then I edit back again to what I did before and the same person reverts it. This is a part Wikipedia War, how do you stop this where everybody agrees to one person's way of the article written. --RushingGold (talk) 13:11, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @RushingGold, That’s a great question and I’m so glad you asked. The best way to resolve content disputes before turning into to a complete WP:EDITWAR is to discuss it with the other editor on their talk page. If there’s more than one other editor involved, try the article talk page. If you do start a discussion on the article talk page, you can ping the other editors using the “@“ symbol (ex. “@Estar8806” is how someone would ping me). I hope this helps! estar8806 (talk) ★ 16:35, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
