Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Linh Nga (Nguyễn Linh Nga). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.  -- WikHead (talk) 11:35, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Linh Nga (Nguyễn Linh Nga), without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.  -- WikHead (talk) 12:33, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Linh Nga (Nguyễn Linh Nga), without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing.  -- WikHead (talk) 11:51, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of Vietnamese actors has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of Vietnamese actors was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2BLPE1aoPU) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Removing Speedy at Linh Nga

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Linh Nga. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willing to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 08:02, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Linh Nga. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 08:03, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Linh Nga

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Linh Nga. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Linh Nga Nguyen. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Linh Nga Nguyen - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Shirt58 (talk) 04:47, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Morning Sunshine (talk) 03:02, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop removing the redirects on the page. You have given no reason. Her name is Linh Nga Nguyen and it should stay that way. Bgwhite (talk) 19:54, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You don't own her page and can't requested protection for every little whim. I'm following standard Vietnam naming practices. So, discuss why she should be named different than every other Vietnamese article and stop protection craze. Bgwhite (talk) 20:59, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Thuyet Buon Vua has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Assessments for Linh Nga

[edit]

On June 4, 2013, you changed the assessment values for both Biography and Vietnam portals to "B". That isn't an action made by the article creator or stakeholders because they don't have a neutral point of view. Assessments of articles are carried out by the members of the projects. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User:FreeRangeFrog, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

A tag has been placed on Category:Linh Nga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Only one valid article member. Category clearly not needed.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of awards and nominations received by Linh Nga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Linh Nga, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Auric talk 15:51, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Homealone1990. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Linh Nga, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Kendall-K1 (talk) 23:05, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2018

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Linh Nga. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kendall-K1 (talk) 23:31, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles as you did at Linh Nga. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. DanielRigal (talk) 00:16, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Linh Nga. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. DanielRigal (talk) 00:16, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

COI

[edit]

What is your connection to Linh Nga? You took what appears to be a professional portrait of her, at File:Film director Linh Nga Nguyen.JPG. Were you paid for this? Have you done any other paid work for her? Kendall-K1 (talk) 02:01, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I did not attack anyone. Why didn't you check back my activity's history? What are you talking about?

[edit]

The Users DanielRigal and kendall-K1 been asking me the same questions. The administrators can check back my activities and I have no worries about it. I am not the owner of anything here, just an editor. Remember, you cannot threaten me to be who I am. I am here in Wikipedia to help the community to be a better place. I donated, and edited, tried my best. I might not be perfect, but I am trying. Thanks. homealone1990 (talk) 20:10, 2 November 2018 (UTC) homealone1990[reply]

Just to be clear: If you intend to accuse me or anyone else of vandalism, do it at WP:ANI or other appropriate noticeboard, not on article talk pages or in edit summaries. Kendall-K1 (talk) 03:11, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I believe this is a mistake. I didn't do anything wrong. All I've done is trying to explain to users who is trying to remove so much information from the page, that we can discuss the matter. I was nice, you can double check. There was no personal attack, abuse. I actually was threatened by another user from editing. I believe this action is a mistake. I don't understand about the "multiple accounts". I have only this account. I am just trying my best. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Your abuse of multiple accounts, in violation of WP:SOCK, is established fact. Yamla (talk) 14:51, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
