A tag has been placed on Anna Odell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I have nominated First National Bank of Montgomery vs Jerome Daly, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/First National Bank of Montgomery vs Jerome Daly. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ironholds (talk) 19:33, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"unique" does not make a case notable - it has to set a precedent, ideally. Since the case is unique, there is no way of telling if it has done that yet. The fact that there are original documents is similarly unimportant - there are original documents for every case! Ironholds (talk) 00:07, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Mats33! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 935 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Linda Skugge - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A tag has been placed on Skattevägrare, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that was copied and pasted from another Wikimedia project, or was transwikied out to another project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. SS Gothenburg[edit]

Hi there, I was wondering if you would be interested in translating this article, SS Gothenburg, into Swedish. Regards, Spy007au (talk) 00:59, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lille Katt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Lage Rahm has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Disambiguation link notification for March 17[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited List of basic income models, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages James Robertson and FIAN (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Nina Frisk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources and the author makes no assertions to the notability of this foreign film.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Natalie Bennett proponent of basic income[edit]

Hi, Mats33. I see you have just added a category to Natalie Bennett's page that she is a proponent of basic income. While I have found evidence that when she was leader of The Green Party of England and Wales she outlined that basic income was a policy of the party, I couldn't see any information showing her proposing it independently of the party. I don't think a party leader speaking on behalf of the policy outlook of their party necessarily equates to them being a proponent of it as an individual (at least not in the case of GPEW). GPEW members debate, discuss and vote on policy, so the leader may not personally advocate that policy. The leader is more of a spokesperson and organiser in this case. I was just wondering if you could give any sources of her advocating basic income independent of representing her party's views? Thanks for your time. Helper201 (talk) 22:14, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I think if the party leader is personally against a big proposal such as this one he/she wont argue for it. In Sweden our Green Party leaders dont argue for it at least, even though its a party policy, or at least something that the party has decided that the party should try to get investigated. Generally I think English wikipedia should rename the Category itself. To: "People associated with the basic income debate". In that way also people who are strongly associated with criticism could "get in".--Mats33 (talk) 06:55, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Basic Income Cleanup[edit]

Hi! First of all, thank you so much for all the clean-up work you already did on the article lately! Truth is, i have not yet given it much though or time. If you have any proposals (its ok to be bold), please just proceed, and i will glady add comments.
  • I would just move the "Worldwide" section to "History". [update: i removed the section since it double information and without citation]
  • The section "Future" should be put somewhere else and renamed, maybe into the "Economic aspects" section, which however i think should be renamed and/or moved. [update: i removed it since the argument there is to use a substitute for cash, which is not what BI is about]
  • I think, but am not sure, that the "Criticism" section should be moved to the "Arguments" section, where there is also some criticism to be found.
  • As you have pointed out, the introduction to the "Affordability" section needs some citations. Maybe we should remove the bullet list.--Mangostaniko (talk) 15:48, 20 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with all this. The affordability section is important, of course, but maybe too complicated to start with. Different writers propose different levels and different ways to finance. And its a part of the overall financiation of the welfare state as a whole. Where we always can use different taxes, as well as other means. --Mats33 (talk) 08:35, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Italienskt renässansmåleri[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Italienskt renässansmåleri. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Italian Renaissance. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Italian Renaissance. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.  GILO   A&E  21:58, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Candidate Photo for Webcam Model Article[edit]

You had previously participated in discussions concerning a possible photo for the Webcam Model article.

A new appropriate photo (Elements for Camming Session) for the article has been recently proposed upon the article's talk page. If you get a chance please consider weighing in on that talk page's discussion on the photo, so that we can achieve a consensus and move forward with an engaging photo for that refurbished article. Svante Axelsson moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Svante Axelsson, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
