Club Red[edit]

Is there some reason why you edited out a significant amount of material from the Club Red page? (Preceeding unsigned comment by User:68.57.152.35)

Red[edit]

No need to see if you can go back in to add material, as it has already been done. What you may have considered "editorializing" is important to understanding the longevity of Red in today's nightclub environment and comes primarily from the people who worked there. Moreover, the pics have been cleared. (Preceeding unsigned comment by User:68.57.152.35)

Warm Welcome[edit]

Thank you for the warm welcome (no pun intended as you mention 30" of snow in one night! Yikes). Chamb 20:56, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

Just stopping by to say hi[edit]

Hey whats up, just dropping a line to see how your doing, and to leave you a joke......Two blondes are out walking when they come across some tracks. "Those are deer tracks," says the first blonde. "No they're not, those are fox tracks." They are still arguing when the train hits them. Cheers KnowledgeOfSelf | talk. 21:10, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

I.E. the black brians[edit]

I, Julie Kahler, attest that this band is notable. The Black Brians are a big band in the current nyc indie music scene. They are into DIY ethics which is why they are not signed to any label. If my solemn word is not enough, tell me what it is you require. I will do anything, good sir.

My user page as an article[edit]

Weird! Guess that was some sort of revenge for reverting vandalism to that article. Babajobu 06:00, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

See my talk page[edit]

Hey, I replied to your comment on my talk page, but now it's also getting blanked, so you may not have seen it. Solver 01:36, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

What is the deal?[edit]

I am not new to wikipedia, but I am new to authoring pages. I can't believe you. You don't respond to my previous request for information from you, then you put the page I authored up for deletion. That is ridiculous. I can establish notability for the Black brians. Just tell me what I need to do. I worked hard on that page. I agree my last response was glib. Tell me what to do. preceding unsigned comment by Juanloki (talk • contribs)

Thank you[edit]

I appreciate your reply and the information you gave me has been very helpful. I apologize if I overeacted in my last email. Thanks again. preceding unsigned comment by Juanloki (talk • contribs)

Out Now Consulting[edit]

I am Ian Johnson the founder of Out Now.

I established our business in 1992 in Australia, and our first project was undertaken there at that time.

It was however not until 1993 that we registered our business in the state of New South Wales, ie before the end of the financial year (which ends each 30 June in Australia) as required by law.

That is why the website currently lists 1993 as the start date - ie the date of the year the business was registered - but we are about to redesign our website www.OutNowConsulting.com to reflect the earlier year of 1992 as the first year of our actual operations.

(Our business is now registered as Out Now in the Netherlands as from 2002.)

If you prefer it to say start date as 1993 at this time, feel free to edit accordingly, or else you can email me at +++ info at outnowconsulting dot com +++ if you would like further verification of this fact. In any case, once we update our website the date should correctly reflect 1992 as the actual start date for Out Now's operations,

Regards

Ian Johnson

Out Now Consulting[edit]

Thanks for the tips - will do so in coming days. Am tired here in Europe and time for bed! Once again thanks for the constructive advice. Ian.

Space Camp[edit]

I actually AM an alumni of Space Camp. Or rather, Space Academy. I have very, very fond memories of my time there. The year before, I had gone to the International Aerospace Camp in Grand Forks, N.D., which focused much more on the aviation aspects of aerospace, so it was particularly fun for me to get to do the "space" portions. At the time I attended, they didn't have different "tracks" of interest -- your position on the shuttle crew was determined by testing your knowledge of the shuttle and space program. The top two scorers were pilot and commander, with mission specialists next and payload specialists after them, as the scores went. For the ground control mission, the order was reversed. (So I guess if you got middling scores, you were really screwed!) I was pilot in my rotation. I also went during a weird time in the camp's construction, I guess their enrollment was going up more rapidly than they'd anticipated, so the guys stayed in the on-camp dorms, and the girls stayed in hotel rooms within walking distance of the camp. And you? · Katefan0(scribble)/mrp 18:26, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Sockpuppets, Freemasons Criticism[edit]

Can you please explain your logic that User:Michigan Knight is a sockpuppet? Whom do you believe he a sockpuppet of? What's the evidence? Thanks. Nandesuka 17:46, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the details. Since all the content from his user and talk pages was copied from User:Dan100, I blocked him indefinitely under the logic that he was impersonating Dan100. I also deleted the article. Regards, Nandesuka 17:59, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
While it looks like he's impersonating Dan100, I'm not sure he's a sock of User:Lightbringer -- He was reverting changes from User:MS Japan, a spoof of User:MSJapan. So now, I'm really confused.--SarekOfVulcan 20:06, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I noticed the User:MS Japan thing too, but didn't know what to make of it. I'd figured it was another sockpuppet of Lightbringer. BTW, I just realized that I accidentally called you a sockpuppet on User_talk:Nandesuka. I meant to say User:Anna2005, sorry! Oh, the mass confusion! Hope you're not offended :-) - orioneight (talk) 20:13, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

*grin* I'll get over it.--SarekOfVulcan 20:34, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Chargeback article[edit]

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chargeback&action=history I noticed you removed precharge in the past. The article needs a note that some services like that company protect against chargebacks. Called "scrubbing," looking for problem cards (such as a history of fradulent chargebacks) And go see my note in the talk page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Chargeback The article needs fixing. At least there is an article about this. Additionally, check out paypal's article and see what needs fixing. I used to do this myself, but I'm tired of people trigger-happy on reverting. 199.197.130.1 02:01, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your warm welcome! And for your precious advice! It was the first time I changed more than a few words on a page with the Dispatch article, and I didn't know about this rolling back functionnality.. It took me some time to re-edit the page, but I did put back all the links and special functions that were there before.. Anyway, I'll re-re-edit the page today with the modifications I made I saved on my computer ;) I'll get back to you if I need some help, Thanks again from Paris! --Pierrealex 17:50, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

I was recently married to my lovely wife; We have lived together for several years already...

  • We love cats (3 currently own us)... Jeffy(15), Echo(6) & Gizmo(3). All sleep with us in the big bed and no room to move an inch.
  • I was Disabled in a 1993 (Coma)/ and am very slowly recovering. It's tough going out sometimes, though with friends I still do. I have a few supportive friends.
  • I am an "Unenrolled voter." Democrat/ Republicans, I don't care, whoever serves makes my life better in the long run I vote for!
  • Avid reader. Has collection of many hundreds of rare books. Especially Science Fiction and Fantasy.
  • Avid Music collector (2,500 albums)...mostly bootlegs...mostly rare bootlegs...Stones, Kinks, Clapton, Beatles. and solos!

I am what I am I'm strongly opinionated about disabled peoples' rights and jobs for American citizens who have trouble finding minimum wage jobs in my state today and support Universal health care, I would be dead if I did not have it. I am an idiot about Internet social skills. I hope that the Immigration Reform bill will protect disabled citizens who wish to work like myself first before considering allowing new people to come here. I was searching for an internet forum to be my outlet to express my needs, but found that Wikipedia is not best suited for that. I'm brushing up on Wikipedia's rules of conduct, and slowly starting to begin contributing again.

Fair use rationale for Image:ChristmasChild-DVD.jpg[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ChristmasChild-DVD.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 14:53, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
