I happened to notice a thread at WP:ANI, User:Steeletrap - talk page soapboxing. I've never heard of Stefan Molyneux before, so I might be speaking out of hand here, but I noticed several references (perhaps fleeting) in the article to Ludwig von Mises Institute, Lew Rockwell and Austrian Economics. Shouldn't SPECIFICO and Steeletrap be staying away from this article? A Quest For Knowledge (talk) 23:18, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, I can't tell at a glance, I know too little about the topic. If you think enforcement is required, WP:AE would be the place to go to.  Sandstein  04:50, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
We've been through this already. [1]. The article at {{Stafan Molyneux]] is a mess if you'd care to help out. SPECIFICO talk 17:18, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
Right. Sorry, but I am not interested at all in the topic, and if I work on the article as an editor, I can't respond to enforcement requests, so, no.  Sandstein  17:45, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
Hi, I understand. I was inviting AQFK, who appears to be concerned about goings-on there. Thanks. SPECIFICO talk 17:54, 5 June 2014 (UTC)

Re: ‎Your post to WP:AE

You misunderstand: I'm not asking for a modification to his sanctions. I'm basically asking that you obey the WP:IAR and WP:BURO policies if someone requests enforcement. Nyttend (talk) 16:46, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

I think you don't need to ask me, you need to ask the sanctioning admin. I don't see IAR as applying here, the exceptions to topic bans are described at WP:BANEX, and discussing category deletions isn't among them. Besides, per WP:OWN, no one editor is particularly responsible for what happens to any page, including categories.  Sandstein  21:11, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

Could you restore this one to my user space please? Thanks. Philafrenzy (talk) 09:03, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

OK, at User:Philafrenzy/European Journal of Post-Classical Archaeologies.  Sandstein  09:52, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Thank you

for your judgement on the SAS81 AE. Not only was the judgement fair in my opinion, but it extended in a practical way to the working environment of the article talk page where it should make editing easier for everyone.(Littleolive oil (talk) 19:41, 11 June 2014 (UTC))

Question about topic ban

When was [2] lifted? Because if it is still in place he's ignoring it. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 09:44, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

If so, the place to report it would be WP:AE.  Sandstein  10:02, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Yes, just wondered if you knew if it had been lifted. I can't find any evidence it has been lifted, so I guess I'll take this to AE in a little while. Dougweller (talk) 10:41, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Not that I know of. That should be noted on the log page.  Sandstein  10:58, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

Dougweller, stop abusing my TP. And it is interesting, when and where did I violate my topic ban? Jaqeli (talk) 11:41, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

I'm not abusing your talk page and I've taken your removals to ANI. I'm not sure you've violated it recently, as I said at ANI, but you certainly did with [3] and [4]. Dougweller (talk) 11:53, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Yes you are. I know well what my topic ban is. And where did you see a topic ban violation there? You're not sure but you're blaming me for what I haven't done? Jaqeli (talk) 12:03, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

Khabboos Topic Ban Violation

This edit [5] by Khabboos on the Anti-Hinduism article seems to violate his Topic Ban. While the specific edit in question deals with Bangladesh, the article has a lot of religious overlap with India Pakistan and Afganistan. VVikingTalkEdits 15:29, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

Bangladesh is a completely different country, so stop looking for ways to harass me!—Khabboos (talk) 15:39, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Please use WP:AE to request enforcement of arbitration sanctions.  Sandstein  17:55, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Nobody is harassing you nor does it even seem like that. AcidSnow (talk) 17:45, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

I have asked for my Topic Ban to be lifted

You said I can appeal my Topic Ban at anytime (see here: [[6]]), so I have asked for my Topic Ban to be lifted here: [[7]] - please do the needful. Thanks!—Khabboos (talk) 16:42, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Please also tell me what to do if I want to add a sentence to an article which I know is true, but can't find a reference for it online?—Khabboos (talk) 17:03, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Don't add it. -Roxy the dog (resonate)
Yes. WP:V provides further advice.  Sandstein  21:33, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Nado158 - Arbitration enforcement topic ban: Serbia, Kosovo, and Albania

Well, I think the sanctions against me are false and inappropriate. No one has entered my arguments and explanations and has been shown arguments against my edits or sources (so in the article FK Trepča). Nobody explained fexactly for what I was punished so excessively hard. Lets control togehtehr and view the allegations and facts.

Diffs of edits that violate this sanction or remedy, and an explanation how these edits violate it
  1. June 9, 2014 User moved article from common name of Albanian origin to uncommon name of Serbian origin
Not true. My mistake was only that I changed the name without prior agreement with the other users to Trepča Stadium, but why I did this? I certainly had no nationalistic reasons. To rename the stadium was a one side decision of the Albanian side, but I understand now, that this can not be an argument to move the side on WP to an neutral name. So, their is nowdays a dispute between the Albanian and the Serbian clubs due to the stadium. So I wanted only a neutral name, neither pro-Serbian nor pro-Albanian one, like the name Trepča or Trepca-Stadium, because both clubs bear the name Trepca. This is not nationalistic Sandstein, I thought neutral. After the move, and after the explenations of the other users, I understood, my way was wrong, but i tried to finde a way, but of cources I would respect the consensus, and I did this.
Also, the accusation from User Ryulong was totaly wrong that I moved article from common name of Albanian origin to uncommon name of Serbian origin. If Trepča or Trepca for example Serbian origing or so a big problem, why two Albanian clubs bear this word Trepca in the club name lik the KF Trepça and KF Trepça'89??? Because of this i wanted a neutral Name, the Trepca Stadium, like in this German source [8]. If the consense is against this, of course i respect this, but my intensions was not bad and not nationalistic.
  1. June 9 to 13, 2014 Drastically rewrote article on Kosovar football club based on non-English sources, edit warred over content when challenged due to behavior on stadium article
This is also not true. First, this is and Serbian football club from Kosovo, which plays in the Serbian football system, not in the Kosovar football system, he dont know. I improved the wrong informations in this article with sources from Kurir:[9], Srbijasport:[10], Alo!:[11], from the clubhomepage from Red Star Belgrade:[12], and from B92:[13]. My edits based on current sources. I invented nothing. Please look the article before my edits and after my edits...[14] (before) and after my improvement...[15]. So, I aske you what is encyclopedic more informative, accurate and important for WP? Which version? The aricle befor with wrong informations, unsourced and in an old version, or the latest version? Do you recognize the difference and the progress Sandstein?
I improved the article and for that I will be punished? User Ryulong who live in beautiful Miami (this si not a personal attack, this is fact) and very likely not familiar with the circumstances of the 4th Serbian football league (he said it himself, and therefore I have the right to mention this), reverted me due theory-making, invetions, speculations and of course POV and this without arguments against my edits and as well as withouth any source, and I were punished? This is extremely unfair and unjust to me. He started the edit ware for nothing, and of course this have nothing to do with Albanian or Albanian clubs.
Dear Sandstein, before the User Ryulong appeard, I used the discussion page to inform other Users about my edits, see please here...[16]. After I dont received response, I contacted a admin named JamesBWatson and asked him for advice and help, see here ...User talk:JamesBWatson#FK Trepča. Woudl I have bad nationalistic or POV intenions, would I choose this way? In the meantime User Ryulong appeard and my edits were drawn in the wrong light and the mood worsens. I felt prejudged, attacked, my right deprived and discriminated. Although I used all rules of the WP, used sources, informed other users and contacted an admin, but User Ryulong who reverted my edits which was sourced received more rights than me, I was very sad about this. ?Even after he showed up, he did not use the discussion page of article, but I am punished. He gave me only allegations due TF and started the edit war, but ignore any of my arguments, sources or explanations. So why I am punished?
He told before this is an Kosovar football club based on non-English sources. Here you can see that he has no knowledge about this topic, but the main thing is, that he is fast in the TF and the reverts. This club plays in the Serbian league system and I'm sorry that the English press does not have sources about a Serbian club from the 4th league and thus also the English source missing, but I have used sources, he not, he used only TF. Besides this, its very undemocratic to use only English sourcese, although I dont have probolems with this, but why should the English press wrote about a fourth division club in this region? Do you think realy i did not try to finde English sources about this club? Of course i tried Sandstein.
    1. edit warring on article after being challenged
    2. [17]
    3. [18]
The same thing like before, why he reverted me and started the edit war and gave me only allegations due TF and ignore all my arguments, sources or explanations. Of course, my sources was on my siede and nothing was wrong or POV. I lost my nervs, evertime this allegations.Nado158 (talk) 14:29, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
  1. June 9 to 13, 2014 Same as above, different club
    1. [19]
    2. [20]
    3. [21]
Here User Ryulong made a big mistake and i will tell you why, read please carefully. Currently there are two football clubs with the same name Trepca. First is Serbian FK Trepča founded in 1932, which was merged with the local Serbian club FK Partizan Kosovska Mitrovica (FKPKM) in 2010. Upon merging the FK Trepca stay the same club like before, the FKPKM stopp to exist and was integrated in FK Trepča, which was founded in 1932. This club is playig nowdays in the Serbian Morava Zone League, the 4th league in the Serbian football system. The another club with the same name Trepca, is Kosovar KF Trepça founded by Kosovar Albanians in 1999, which play in the Football Superleague of Kosovo. Both clubs share only the name and colors but year of foundation, stadium, league, club president etc. are different. So, whats did User Ryulong, he revert me only because of TF and POV and all this without soruces...see here...[22]. The funny thing is, I added sources and tried to explain but he ignored me again and reverted sourced article in a totaly wrong and unsourced version of the article. I asked you Sadnstein, and please be honest, where are now the argument of User Ryulong where he demanded English sources? Now that does not count more at once? Is this double-moralistic or double standard or both? I tried only to improve the article, I used sources, the guy have no sources, no knowledge about this topic, but what he can is only to revert and TF here TF there and I am punished. Thats realy sad and not fair, realy not.--Nado158 (talk) 14:29, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, for User Ryulong it's not evidently clear what's going on with the two FCs, or 3 of them how he said, this proves again that he have no knowledge about this topic, we have 3 clubs with the name Trepca. He told also, why I felt the need to completely disregard the current official name of FK Partizan Kosovska Mitrovica in favor of FK Trepča. My esteemed and respected Users, again, the FK Partizan Kosovska Mitrovica dont exist since 2010, he was integrated in FK Trepča, because of this I improved the article and added 5 soruces who explain this. I can really understand what is so difficult to understand and why you are so unfair to me.Nado158 (talk) 14:29, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
I would like to say that User:Brianyoumans revised my edits and improved it and accept it, how i accept his edis, without problems. But why? Because he worked like asn wikipedian and recognize the situation and tried to improve and help, not like User Ryulong who throw at only with TF and speculations. So, how you can see, I am very much interested in cooperation in the framework of the WP, but I was immediately attacked and sources was ignored. I'm just a human and have the right to defend myself an articles from POV, NPOV or vandalizm.
So, the misunderstand is, that the current article version, which is the whole history about the FK Trepča, is totaly right and in WP acceptet (see Biranyoumenas edits), for what I was strangely punished, what make the thing just ridiculous more (see [23]), but the introduction and the Name is wrong. It msut be FK Trepča, not - FK Partizan Kosovska Mitrovica, also referred to as FK Trepča, is a Serbian football club based in North Kosovska Mitrovica, in North Kosovo - the FKPKM dont exist. Whats happen with FKPKM I explained in the article. Of cours we can renamed to FK Trepča , and create a small article about FKPKM, but I dont knwo if I finde enough sources to keep this article due the relevance reason for WP, because of this i asked the another admin to move this page. So for this I am punished so hard??? Come one guy, is this your serious :)?
Similar edits to FK Trepča you can see here, abut the FK Mokra Gora, also a smaller Sebrina club from Kosovo who played in the Serbian league system like th FK Trepča....[24], [25]...Should I be punished for this correct edits also?
See please also the comments about the club from User:Nightwolf87 here...[26], You can see that is not my POV or nationalistic POV, that this all are facts and the club history.
I'll shown here as if I'm working all the time or Albanian or Kosovar article, but looks at my edit history of the last months. Most I've edited articles about FK Jagodina and FK Cukaricki, a improved the whole page of FK Jagodina in the past weeks. I am totaly misrepresented here.
The punishment is based on nothing but misunderstandings and false accusations which are also Originated from TF and speculation. For this I do not understand why the ban is also related to Albania. What has the edits about a football club from Serbia or Kosovo with all topics about Albania to do? I also find it very sad that none of you has tried to respond to my arguments, to talk to me. You have all done this without me, I was just ignored. I had the feeling I had from the beginning no rights and opportunity, which is not very nice and not the soul of WP. I already judged before the decision was made, this is what I feel. Also I find it discriminatory to ban me from thematic fo Serbian dishes or business, natural or Serbian tourism, which is completely exaggerated and also discriminatory. Therefore request acquittal in all cases, and ask for the unblocking,, especially because yy edits was sourced, not POV or natinalisic POV. Thank you, danke sehr und MfG!--Nado158 (talk) 14:29, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

Here a new source, an Bosniak source from Radio Sarajevo not Serbian, which said the same what I said, what i tried to explain before, see here...[27]. On the left side you can see the FK Trepča player against Partizan Belgrade. So my topic ban is really unfair Sandstein.Nado158 (talk) 14:37, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, the above is far too long for me to read and respond to thoroughly. Please be more concise.  Sandstein  17:04, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

Jaqeli

Just a quick question, though I'm sure you're exasperated by the whole saga by now from what I've read, does user Jaqeli's ban cover all articles relating to Georgia and Armenia, including articles that only deal with one and not the other, or only articles that cover both of them simultaneously? If it is the former, then would his discussion here violate the ban? Thanks. Sotakeit (talk) 10:13, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

It's the latter.  Sandstein  11:42, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Question regarding User:Jaqeli and topic ban

User:Jaqeli nominated Pharnavaz I of Iberia for Good Article status. After I did the review, I realized that they are under a topic ban against editing articles relating to Georgia and Armenia. Does the ban extend to ancient Georgian history? I noted on their talk page and on the nomination list that the user is under a topic ban, and that once the ban is lifted they can address the issues that I brought up with the nomination. Today they have edited the article in question in response to my review - is this within the scope of the ban or not? Please let me know promptly.--¿3family6 contribs 21:29, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Somehow User:Jaqeli can't comprehend that the article is subject to his topic ban, since it mentions both Georgians and Armenians. Still, it has almost passed GA and can probably do so if you will give him an exemption from his ban to work on it. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 22:33, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
An exemption would have to be requested before, rather than after, making edits that violate an editing restriction. I have blocked Jaqeli for violating their topic ban.  Sandstein  06:41, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

So how should I proceed? Even though Jaqeli violated the ban, their edits to Pharnavaz I of Iberia satisfied the problems I found preventing the article from achieving GA status. Can I approve an article for GA even though the edits improving it violated a topic ban?--¿3family6 contribs 13:45, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't know whether or how sanctions affect the GA process. I can't give you an answer.  Sandstein  13:57, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
I brought this up on the GA nominations talk page.--¿3family6 contribs 16:47, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
It shouldn't affect the nomination HOWEVER, Jaqeli cannot receive, obtain, or claim contributions to the article, and thus cannot claim to have been involved in this as a GA the panda ₯’ 18:07, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
I'd favor going ahead with the article promotion to GA. Jaqeli will be able to take credit for his work at such time as his topic ban expires or is lifted. EdJohnston (talk) 16:58, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
I'll go ahead and approve it, then.--¿3family6 contribs 18:29, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Inadvertently violated topic ban

I'm just notifying you that while trying to make a constructive edit on the James Delingpole article, I have mistakenly violated the 6-month topic ban you issued to me in January. I very obliviously calculated it to end on 14 June instead of 14 July. Here is the revision in question. I don't know to which degree of seriousness this offence is, but I fully accept any repercussions that are decided appropriate. --Kaj Taj Mahal (talk) 15:35, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

accusations of complicity in Armenian Genocide by Turks

You might wish to look at Sabanci family etc. and note the repeated weakly sourced accusations that they owe their wealth to the Armenian Genocide etc. Discussions at RS/N determined the "sources" have some anecdotes about individuals buying specific buildings, but the broad accusation is not supported by them, but I am being berated as somehow anti-Armenian or having some "rationale" for insisting that such a charge is, in fact, an accusation of a crime. Cheers. Collect (talk) 21:50, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, but I am not really interested in the topic. I f you think that sanctions are warranted, you should make a request at WP:AE.  Sandstein  03:55, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

Jaqeli, that's an unbelievable suggestion. You need to NOT think about any of the articles that are part of your TBAN - even suggesting that you want to edit them shows that you don't get it. If you ask to edit a TBAN-related article, you can be blocked for violating your TBAN. the panda ₯’ 11:37, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
Well, no, DangerousPanda, not just for asking, but, Jaqeli, you should work on the reasons that led to the ban before asking for exemptions.  Sandstein  11:49, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
I mean the articles which have marginal connections to my TBAN, e.g. Pharnavaz I of Iberia. Also to clear things out, I can appeal my TBAN directly to you and also to the enforcement page, right? Jaqeli 12:54, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
