  • Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Devin Mroz, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion. After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. IMDB is not counted as a reliable source for Wikipedia to show notability. More independent reliable references are needed to show notability. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:24, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

Media Rights Capital

Article of a notable company, deleted by User:Spartaz because it was apparently created by a sock of the banned user User:Benjiboi. Personally, I feel that it runs afoul of the criteria that the page must have not "substantial edits by others". A long-standing article should not be deleted only because of its association with one user. —ViperSnake151  Talk  00:58, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

For your information, Nazim hussain Pak, if you just want to test what something looks like, you start a new draft and you can use the preview button. Then if you don't like it you can keep editing, and not save it. Then you won't have to ask for a deletion after a quick test. (I checked your contributions, and deleted contributions and I could not see anything on Z.H. Rehber either). Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:41, 23 June 2017 (UTC)

I am Doe Boy's Brand/Marketing Manager, and was only half-way finished with the adding, deleting, and editing of my article that was not even live yet. I am requesting to get the article back to make necessary changes that also meet your guidelines in order to post and go live. Thank you. —Ben RBMG (talk) 02:10, 24 June 2017 (UTC)

  • Style of writing is different on Wikipedia as this is an encyclopedia. You will have to not be a marketer or brand manager if you want to contribute in the style needed here. Example of text that should not be included in Wikipedia articles includes "sharpen his craft " "garnered the intrerests" " and more." "countless " and "alledgely has been tied". Also text that says or suggests negative things about the person need to be individually referenced. I am commenting on User:Ben RBMG/sandbox, as that is what I think you want back. Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure applies in your case. If you think you can write an encyclopedia entry in a style for an enecyclopedia, and there are other writings out there to base a page on, you can start again in your sandbox. Pfenning, BizWest, Cue Ball, Budhoo, Omallur, NextGen, Fagan, and Chase

The following pages should be undeleted and restored to their former locations in the userspace. They were all moved to the mainspace by a user other than their creator then found to be unsuitable for the mainspace for reasons which would not apply in the userspace. The consensus at WP:UP/RFC2016 (B4) was If a userspace draft is moved to the mainspace by a user other than its author, then found to be unsuitable for the mainspace for reasons which wouldn't apply in the userspace, it should be returned to the userspace. See Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion/Archive 229#Unicity Productions, Play It Strange Trust, and Hack n' Smack Celebrity... for a precedent. Pinging Graeme Bartlett who participated in the related discussion I started at WT:Requests for undeletion. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 21:55, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

@Godsy: As regards to David Fagan, I offered in my close to userify it if someone committed to working on it. Are you or the original article creator going to keep working on this one with a view to getting it to the mainspace eventually? Lankiveil (speak to me) 23:06, 21 June 2017 (UTC).
@Lankiveil: I have no plans to work on it at this time. I cannot speak for the creator, i.e. Ben.zarsky, who has been inactive since mid-2010. I'm here because the community overwhelmingly supported the restoration of pages to the userspace under these circumstances (their rationales can be read here; numerically it was ~23 in support and ~2 in opposition). — Godsy (TALKCONT) 23:28, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
In that case, I'm going to decline to restore an abandoned draft to user space unless there is some indication somewhere that it will be worked upon; a restoration would be pointless wonkery for the sake of process. No opinion on the other ones. Lankiveil (speak to me) 23:34, 21 June 2017 (UTC).
  • Decline Per Lankiveil. 1) Process wonkerei. 2) The Draft namespace is not webhost. 3) When the Draft namespace was created it was done to replace the incubator which had become a graveyard for abandoned articles. 'Draft' was not conceived to become another graveyard for perma-drafts. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:54, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
@Kudpung: Just to clarify, I'm requesting these be restored to their former locations in the userspace (as that is what the community decided was appropriate), not the draftspace. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 01:11, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
Still process wonkery: neither Draft nor user sub pages are web hosts or repositories for abandoned work. You would need to demonstrate that 1) The creators have asked for a refund, 2) demonstrate very clearly that these users are intending to continue developing the articles, and 3.) demonstrate that these articles will stand a good chance of surviving AfD.
I see all that as just making work for yourself, and then unnecessary work for the admins who are gong to have to delete them all over again. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:20, 22 June 2017 (UTC).
@Kudpung: You deleted Government Higher Secondary School Omallur due it being put up for proposed deletion, while Lankiveil deleted David Fagan (educator) due to an articles for deletion discussion. Very different. Even after it has been deleted, anyone may have a PRODed article or file restored through a request for undeletion, Any page which has been deleted as a result of a proposed deletion will be undeleted upon request (unless there are other reasons for keeping it deleted, such as a copyright infringement), and An administrator may decide on their own to restore a page that has been deleted after a proposed deletion without having to make the request at Requests for undeletion. WP:PROD. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 01:44, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
  • I have restored the ones deleted via prod, but I have not moved the pages. Move them to draft or userspace if you wish. Even better if you improve the articles. Note if the article was at AFD then my opinion is that the AFD forum can decide deletion or move back to userspace. Since I was a discussion participant I won't act more for the more controversial restores. But others can work on them if they wish. Certainly if creators want their pages back, or someone wants to improve the page then a restore can be justified. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 02:09, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
This procedural nonsense is exactly what Iead to my concerns about Godsy's behaviour. Expressing those concerns turned into him bashing me all over the site then to him hounding me repeatedly. If restored, each of these pages will need to be run through yet another deletion process for no good reason at all. I don't see Godsy working AfC or WikiProject WP:ABANDONED he is just adding to administrative load needlessly. Legacypac (talk) 02:59, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
I think that a third party who [moves someone else's abandoned userspace draft to the mainspace] should take responsibility for the page, and if it does not survive in the mainspace, should arrange for it to be returned to the user space rather than let it be deleted for reasons which would not apply in the userspace. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 03:20, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
User:Godsy, User:Legacypac, cut it out. Both of you. Lankiveil (speak to me) 09:51, 22 June 2017 (UTC).

I just wanted to provide some context since he is pinging all these admins and posting links to this discussion. I'm not going to fight over it. Legacypac (talk) 15:09, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

I provided links to this discussion in a couple places for context when you started making mischaracterizing statements like "restored by Godsy and moved to WP:ABANDONED stale userspace ... Godsy evidently saw value in this page so submitting it to AfC for comments and potential approval." — Godsy (TALKCONT) 16:22, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

I wanted this image restored because I believe it was unfairly deleted. I think it can still be useful for the article it came from and I believe it should be restored immediately. —Angelgreat (talk) 13:45, 24 June 2017 (CST) —Angelgreat (talk) 18:44, 24 June 2017 (UTC)

Not done. (e/c) Hi Angelgreat. This image was not deleted unfairly. But I think you might mean that the image should not have been removed from the article it was used in – which removal was what resulted in its deletion as "orphaned". You need background on certain rules about fair use, and how it's interpreted here under the non-free content for the distinction I'm drawing to make sense.

Images that are not suitably-free of copyright restrictions can only be used here if they meet the non-free content criteria, which are a bit complex in letter and application. Some summary points here are that we can only use one fair use image for the same encyclopedic purpose, only in the article mainspace; the single image must stay in use to remain; and generally we cannot use fair use images at all of living persons because they are replaceable while the person is alive by someone taking a photograph. We also can't use any fair use image where there's a free equivalent. What happened here is that in this edit, User:NeoBatfreak removed the image you are here about, and replaced it with File:Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank).jpg. Since that orphaned this image, it was properly deleted as unused after an eight day waiting period.

If the images were equivalent and there was no living person issue, and no free equivalent in existence, then the question would have been, was there a good basis to remove the old image and replace it with the new image, remembering that only one can be used; one had to be deleted?

But the problem here is that the image that was removed, and then deleted, would have had to be deleted anyway, if reviewed, as clearly failing the non-free content criteria on two grounds: because it was an image of a living person with no suitable exception to the rule I can see, and because there are free images of this person, at Commons:Category:Jason David Frank at the 2013 Wizard World New York Experience. The image that replaced this one has a much better claim to meeting an exception to the rules, because unlike this image, it is of him in the power suit, but I think the image that replaced it need to be deleted as well. I'd made this and the following two redirects in error as I'm trying to use a userscript to speed up disambiguating links. I'd tried using it on the target of this redirect as well as those of the two listed below, only to find nothing to apply it to. I thought nothing of it and left, but somehow the script created these redirects in the process. I had them deleted under WP:G7, but now I'm told having pages like these is the standard practice per WP:INTDAB. (Non-administrator comment) Neither this nor your previous request strike me as good rationales for restoring deleted pages. This sounds more like a rationale for getting rid of them in the first place. "Needs sources" is the only thing that sounds like a petition to restore the pages, with the implicit promise that it will be rectified soon. Are you perhaps saying these were the reasons it got deleted in the first place? If you're planning on making them better, it might just be best to start a new article where the old ones existed, with the problems fixed as early in the edit history as possible, or perhaps you can ask for userfication of the deleted content per WP:USERFY. Complete Vocal Technique

Complete Vocal Technique is the largest vocal technique in the world, and has been published in several academic high ranking journals. The article on Complete Vocal Technique explained the content of the technique, with an overview of the 3 overall principles of singing, the 4 vocal modes, sound colour for changing the sound of the voice, and finally how to add effects to singing. Several principles of singing have been detailed by the technique, and the article should be elaborated upon the reflect the most recent science in the field of voice. This is not possible as the article has been deleted rather than updated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MathiasAaenThuesen (talkcontribs) 14:58, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

Jana Franziska Poll

Germany women's national volleyball team international player, silver medalist of the European League, has played for some of the best German clubs and is currently playing for CEV Women's Challenge Cup runners-up Olympiacos. She has pages in the Greek, French, Italian, Polish and Japanese wikipedias as you can see here: Jana Franziska Poll This article should be undeleted without a doubt and it's really difficult for me to understand how this article could have been deleted in the first place. Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to your help. Gtrbolivar (talk) 19:19, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

@Gtrbolivar:: the page was deleted because the person who created it is banned from editing Wikipedia. Banned users aren't allowed to edit and content they add is routinely removed. This should not stop anybody else from writing an article about this person, as long as there isn't anything else wrong with it. Hut 8.5 20:53, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
@Hut 8.5:: Thank you for your reply. I would like to access the content of the article. I will check it myself and make sure that its content is fully sourced and verifiable. Can you please put the content of the deleted article in a draft page so I can edit it? It would be a huge help. It's gonna take me forever to start the article from scratch. Thank you in advance Hut 8.5, I'm waiting for your response. Gtrbolivar (talk) 22:02, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
@Graeme Bartlett::Thanks man. I will edit it, make sure that everything is 100% sourced and verifiable. Should I move it from "draft" to "article" when I'm finished?? Gtrbolivar (talk) 22:57, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
  • If you determine it is worth keeping, the topic is notable, it is free of copyright infringement, and add some substantial writing yourself, then, yes, move it to an article. Once you make non-minor additions then G5 is inapplicable. The problem is if you don't want to modify it, then the speedy delete criterion applies. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:55, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the all the help man. The article is back on: Jana Franziska Poll. If you like, have a look at it. Take care Graeme. Gtrbolivar (talk) 00:38, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

the page belongs to a real notable person and the links in the information are basically for proofs and references. There might be some mistakes in making this page but the person is real. Please help me out. —Ownabbas (talk) 04:46, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

@Ownabbas: the article Ownabbas has never existed and no page you've edited has been deleted, which page are you referring to here? Hut 8.5 06:41, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

WiGLE (WiFi)

It's a redirect page for/to WiGLE, which was already restored. Not a big deal, but WiGLE WiFi has been used before, and a few, mostly user or talk, pages still link to the now missing redirect page. I expect someone might re-create the page again eventually, so why not restore the deleted redirect now. —PTMY (talk) 23:45, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

avinashi road flyover

Actually avinashi road is different from avinashi road flyover.its a bridge road.so i created a wiki pedia for it "Save page" button below —Balaji Ananthanarayanan 07 (talk) 03:15, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

  • It was not actually deleted, only nominated for deletion. I have changed it to a redirect. However when I look online there do appear to be newspaper stories on this flyover, so there is potential to write an article that proves notability. So when you are ready to write more you can reverse the redirect change I made and add the new facts and references. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:42, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

Rawat_Public_School_CBSE

sir please let me know the reason why my page rawat public school & rawat public school cbse is redirected and deleted again and again. Now i have follow up all your guideline but don't know the reason behind deletion .Please Let know the Exact reason for deletion. How i can improve my page article ? How i can Make my page UnDeletion. Thanks —Ayushjain772 (talk) 05:10, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

In this case there was a deletion debate here:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. You can add information about the school to the locality perhaps Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. Otherwise I suggest that you start a draft at Draft:Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur and use what newspapers and magazines have to say about it to show it is notable.
