Essay on editing Wikipedia
This is an essay. It contains the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. This page is not an encyclopedia article, nor is it one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community. Some essays represent widespread norms; others only represent minority viewpoints. |
Wikipedia content is created by editors collaborating. To what extent do volunteer editors quit and get replaced, turnover, compared to volunteer retention? Are we the type of place that volunteers work at for decades (because they enjoy it) or are we the type of place that constantly replaces the volunteers who just quit with new ones (because they hate it)?
