reflist|2

There is absolutely no need to keep changing {{reflist}} to {{reflist|2}} in cases such as John Dyne (MP for Hythe), Thomas J. Furst and John Dyne. They have one or two refs. This is a trivial edit and not policy. Please stop doing them. Bgwhite (talk) 06:40, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Hey, been looking at your contributions. Could you turn off auto-tagging for now. You aren't doing anything wrong, it's just that the Wikify tag has been depreciated and shouldn't be added. It will be fixed in the next release of AWB. Also, if you want to use a new version of AWB, download the latest SVN from here. SVN8414 is the latest. Bgwhite (talk) 06:41, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

{{wikify}}

You were asked three days ago to stop adding the {{wikify}} tag using AWB, as it is deprecated. But in this edit you added it again. Please remember that all edits you do with the help of AWB are your edits and you are responsible for them. Even if the software is slow to be updated, you should not be adding this tag. Please stop. PamD 06:50, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that. Didn't realize it was deprecated. Don't stop believin'. --Hutcher (talk) 01:49, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Stop making trivial edits

Per this, this, this and many more, stop making trivial edits. This is rule #4 for using AWB. Adding blank lines or converting a templates name is trivial. I've asked you once before and you were rude to PamD in asking you to stop adding Wikify for the second time. AWB access can be taken away for not following the rules. Bgwhite (talk) 06:09, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

I'm rude? You are ranting on my talk page, shouting orders and threats even. I overlooked this part of rule 4: "no noticeable effect on the rendered page". I'm sorry. Eventhough there are no casualties here, but your pride, I'm cool with that rule. I thought I was doing god's work by helping clean up new pages - many of them fit for a speedy delete. This was an honest mistake on my part. Concerning wikify: I missed your note because you added it under a complaint about reflist. And the casualties of a reflist-2? A more intelligently formatted page. Keep calm and carry on. --Hutcher (talk) 14:47, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
I've told you twice about trivial edits. It is the duty to read the rules before using AWB. Calling somebody else's talk statement to you "whining" is rude. I'm not making threats or shouting orders, I'm asking you to follow the rules. I don't ban people from AWB, so it is no threat, just a statement. "And the casualties of a reflist-2? A more intelligently formatted page."... It is against the rules to do that and no reason whatsoever to do that on pages with one or two refs. I worry about this because edits like these give all users of AWB a bad name. We've fought hard to keep AWB use going despite bad editors. I've seen too many people banned from AWB over doing the exact edits you are doing. So, my pride hurt? No. It will hurt to see you banned for continuing down your path. Bgwhite (talk) 05:35, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Multiple issues

Hi, with this edit you altered {{multiple issues}} from the new syntax to the old syntax. Please try to avoid doing that. --Redrose64 (talk) 11:38, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Motorcycle Club terms, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hell's Angels (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:21, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of Motorcycle Club terms requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
