Your applications to be an admin and a bureaucrat[edit]

I have deleted your request for adminship. You wrote there: "I want to be admin on wikipedia from Eastern Nepal as there is no wiki admin from Eastern Province of Nepal." Each Wikipedia is separate, and if you want to apply to be an admin on the Nepali Wikipedia, you need to apply there, see ne:विकिपीडिया:प्रबन्धक_अधिकारको_लागि_निवेदन.

If you meant to apply for adminship here on the English Wikipedia, adminship does not depend on geographical location, and I am afraid you do not have nearly enough experience to be considered for adminship here. While there are no formal thresholds, it is extremely unlikely that anyone with less than several months' experience and several thousand edits would be accepted. This is because an administrator needs to have knowledge and experience of many different aspects of Wikipedia. Please read:

I have also deleted your request for bureaucratship where you wrote "I want the wikipedia to grant me a Breaucratship, so that I can create articles and patroll pages. Thank You!" To be a bureaucrat requires even more knowledge and experience than to be an admin, but to create articles you do not need to be a bureaucrat or even an admin; nor do you to patrol pages, though you do need to get some experience of editing before you start to patrol. There is good advice about that at WP:New pages patrol.

My advice is: forget about advanced permissions for the moment, and concentrate on contributing to building the encyclopedia. You can get ideas about things to do at the Wikipedia:Community portal. You could also consider contributing to the Nepali Wikipedia, which is at https://ne.wikipedia.org/wiki/.

File source problem with File:AlainaB.Teplitz.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:AlainaB.Teplitz.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Adivasi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nepalese. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Madhesi.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Madhesi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 16:01, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Gangaprasadyadav.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:Madhesipeople.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Madhesipeople.jpg, which you've attributed to https://twitter.com/SomeshVerma/status/652872342209622016. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:54, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Ganga Yadav.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Ganga Yadav.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Steel1943 (talk) 05:32, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File Source is Available[edit]

I added the file source. Please do check. Thanks for visiting. Yours Paudarco (Paudarco (talk))

Replaceable fair use File:Ganga Yadav.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ganga Yadav.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 08:57, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Ganga Yadav.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Ganga Yadav.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 08:57, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File:Madhesipeople.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Madhesipeople.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. October 2015[edit]

Please stop. Continuing to remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Madhesipeople.jpg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Eeekster (talk) 09:02, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear User:Ponyo Sir, I agree that I have been using wiki on shared municipality network but I had not been involved in vandalism till date and my history shows that. Please unblock me so that I can expand articles and more. I would also be very grateful if you reply me. Thank You.

You weren't blocked for using a "shared municipality network." You were blocked for sockpuppetry, and you'll need to address that before an unblock is even considered. OhNoitsJamie Talk 04:46, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Ponyo Sir, I already mentioned Nepalese service provider provides multiple users with same IP adress and here is the proof: ?UNIQ--nowiki-0000000E-QINU?2?UNIQ--nowiki-0000000F-QINU? But, that doesn't not make any sense. Nepal is divided in 75 districts and 1 districts probably has only 5000-8000 IP adresses. The topics I edited has become a National agenda such as to that of Madhesi people and everyone may reach to edit that, it's just a co-incidence. Paudarco is my nicknane not a fault. Poojana Ccrestha represents first name and last name representing Newar surname Shrestha. I do not belong to that ethnic group. Poudar/Paudar is a Nepalese surname and anyone can use that. I hope you do research on all the things I mentioned and take corrective action. Thank You!

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016[edit]

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)
