Rishi Sunak was invited by King Charles III to replace Liz Truss as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on 25 October 2022. This follows the resignation of Truss and the subsequent Conservative leadership election.[1][2] The Sunak ministry consists of MPs from the 2019 Parliament of the United Kingdom, as a Conservative majority government.
