KTFK-TV is a Spanish language general entertainment station owned by Univision and affiliated with Univision's younger leaning network called TeleFutura. They are licensed to Stockton and serves the Sacramento market. Studios and offices are shared with co-owned KUVS-TV at 1710 Arden Way in Sacramento. KTFK airs a one-hour newscast produced by KUVS weekday mornings from 7am-8am.

The station began operation on November 12, 1987 as KFTL and owned by "Family Stations Inc" which runs traditional non commercial Christian radio stations and over the years taught Ultra Conservative Calvinistic reformed Christian Theology. The organization is non profit and headed by Harold Camping.

Because of the lack of available Calvinistic Christian compatible programming for television KFTL ran religious programming about 6 hours a day. They ran a few shows produced by Family Radio along with evangelists like Charles Stanley and Jerry Falwell and local church services from Conservative Baptist churches and Christian Reformed churches.

For the remainder of the day they ran the Home Shopping Club. In the late 1990s they began running a couple hours of Public domain movies and sitcoms a day as well. Family Radio never grew into television like they dreamed of so the opted to sell KFTL in 2003. It was sold to Univision as a result and the format was flipped to Spanish language entertainment.
