The Ramdasia are a caste of weavers (also known as julahas )[1]. Sikhs belonging to this group are known as Ramdasia Sikhs.[2] There are about 505,000 Ramdasia, 80% of whom live in Punjab. The other 20% live in the states of Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.[3]
