Hi ~ if you read the discussion, citing wasn't the problem, it was that wine had no place in the article. I don't wish to get into a scruffle, so see if you read the same thing i did in the discussion[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Foie_gras#Accompaniments_-_necessary.3F]. Important note
Can you please respond to my previous note, which I feel is very important relative to the situation in which both you and I have found ourselves embroiled? Thank you in advance. I very strongly don't want to seem like I'm pressuring you to respond, but if you have the time to make other edits then you clearly have the time to deal with my response to your statements regarding what you have considered to be my failure to discuss my actions.
I look forward to reading your response which will, I am certain, be well-worded and cogently-reasoned. DS (talk) 16:51, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- I was taking some time to think on this issue, and just wondering if it was really necessary to remove the hook, even for some other reason, when several people had already expressed their opinions that such removals were disruptive. Don't you think that it was an inappropriate time for that? You could have started a discussion on the project talk page first. --BorgQueen (talk) 17:02, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- I may have misunderstood the purpose of preparation areas. My understanding was that they were for experimenting with layout and sequence, and identifying last-minute mistakes. Is this correct or incorrect? DS (talk) 18:53, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Dombrovskis image
Thanks for the new image but I found this one far better than the current one. I was wondering if there was some reason that you chose the current image. --BorgQueen (talk) 17:12, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- Dombrovskis is looking to his left (our right), which tends to draw readers' eyes away from the section's text. (The opposite is true for the left-hand column.)
- The image that I used is of insufficient resolution for most applications (and therefore inferior, indeed), but it's suitable for use as a 100px thumbnail.
- The above, of course, is merely my assessment. I don't mean to imply that it carries any more weight than yours does. :) —David Levy 17:22, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
ITN for Jérôme Kerviel
On 5 October 2010, In the news was updated with a news item that involved the article Jérôme Kerviel, which you recently nominated. If you know of another interesting news item involving a recently created or updated article, then please suggest it on the candidates page. |
Two can play at that game ;-) I didn't really expect an ITN for this, so it was all the more welcome as it came as a surprise. Anyway, you nominated it, so here you go! TFOWR 21:48, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! --BorgQueen (talk) 21:50, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- BTW, thanks for considering my BLP concerns about the story; the blurb that's posted is fine by me, and my modifications to the article seem to have stuck. Best wishes, at least until tomorrow's Nobel Prize ;) Physchim62 (talk) 23:06, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Q not followed by U
Hi. The article List of English words containing Q not followed by U was just nominated for Featured list removal candidates. It just needs a bit of work, and there are some potential references at the bottom of the article's talkpage. I'm letting a few editors who have worked on it (or commented on it) know. Thanks :) -- Quiddity (talk) 01:28, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

What is that all in your User Page? That makes me weird. --TooZ (talk) 16:11, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
DYK for The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy
On 17 October 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hi BorgQueen. I was just wondering... Because of your name-space protection applied here, does it concern you that article Vlad gheorghiu now exists? The new article of course, can't be moved to its proper noun space, but because of its obvious lack of independent notability and weak sourcing, I'm left uncertain whether requesting a page-move is really worth the bother. It occurred to me as well, that redirecting Vlad gheorghiu to its parent band article may also have the potential of being problematic if not protected. Perhaps you could take a look and apply any logical changes if necessary. Thank you. -- WikHead (talk) 01:45, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Picture request for Myanmar Snub-nosed Monkey
The animal has only just been discovered by western science: I've seen no claim of any photograph having been taken. I have no idea of how to research/decide open the status of the computer gererated graphic that has been on many press reports: can you? Kevin McE (talk) 09:47, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- Let's be optimistic, and perhaps a bit of faith. Some free image might come in a few years, and there's no harm in having the request on the talk page. It's not some kind of dispute tag. --BorgQueen (talk) 09:56, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- I was, but no longer... Kevin McE (talk) 16:04, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Nuget listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Nuget. Since you had some involvement with the Nuget redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Teh klev (talk) 11:17, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
