Hello-

She started out using Cramp then if you look at her credits in Colony and Magic camp she is now Crovetti. Please change her name on Wikipedia. Also can you add her credits
Shimmer and Shine
Colony
Magic Camp
And Vampirina
I have been trying to change this and you keep changing it back.
Thank you

Release Date for Hercules: Zero to Hero 1999 Film

My reason for editing the release date for this film is that it was inaccurate. The accurate release date for this film was August 17, 1999. A preview for the film was shown in 1999 VHS releases of Disney films such as "Alice in Wonderland", "Robin Hood", and "The Great Mouse Detective". It was released the same day as the Beauty and the Beast film, "Tales of Friendship" which was August 17, 1999. Please understand my reason for the editing of this film release date. If I violated any copyrights laws, I apologize and will take full responsibility for my actions. 167.21.141.11 (talk) 14:22, 14 September 2017 (UTC)(talk) 10:20 14 September 2017 (UTC)167.21.141.11 (talk) 14:22, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently, this user is evading block by vandalising at User talk:71.236.164.171. Pkbwcgs (talk) 17:43, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Oshwah

You made an error. I made the correction because there are already citations at the beginning of the Marc Anthony article. If you check the citations right after his year of birth, all of the citations including Biography.com clearly state a birth date of September 16, 1968 not 1964.

If you could revert your change, it would make the the birth date correct.

Thanks, Ben

Invitation to Admin confidence survey

Hello,

Beginning in September 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Anti-harassment tool team will be conducting a survey to gauge how well tools, training, and information exists to assist English Wikipedia administrators in recognizing and mitigating things like sockpuppetry, vandalism, and harassment.

The survey should only take 5 minutes, and your individual response will not be made public. This survey will be integral for our team to determine how to better support administrators.

To take the survey sign up here and we will send you a link to the form.

We really appreciate your input!

Please let us know if you wish to opt-out of all massmessage mailings from the Anti-harassment tools team.

FYI about Antifa (United States) protection))

Oshwah, I blocked the edit warrior at the article 13 minutes before you protected it, see [1]. I'm consequently not sure the protection serves any purpose now, but I will certainly let you be the judge of that. I'm just going to bed, living as I do in an exotic timezone, so I won't see any reply for some hours. Please just do as you think best, up to and including removing my block. Bishonen | talk 23:53, 14 September 2017 (UTC).[reply]

Bishonen - Okay, I'll take another look. Thanks for letting me know, and have a great rest of your night :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:54, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I still think that it does, IMO. If you look at the edit history of the page (September 11th and September 12th), you'll see what looks to be a content dispute between a group of editors that go back and fourth. I'll keep this discussion open so that others can weigh in. If others feel that this protection should be lifted, please add to this discussion so that I can weigh all of the input and make sure that I'm doing the right thing. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:57, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like others are starting to agree that full protection isn't needed, so I have lowered it to semi-protection :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:04, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please reconsider PP for Antifa (United States)

Hi Oshwah. I'm asking you to please reconsider the page protection for Antifa (United States). Per this AN3 thread, only one (now blocked) user was edit warring on this page, against broad consensus, and they appear to have used RFPP as a bludgeon to get their way. Note that the report you answered referred to "Persistent BLP violations", which is clearly not the case.

This article needs a lot of work, and it would be a shame to lock it down from collaborative editing for 5 days. I will agree that if edit warring continues after the block, then PP should be reinstated, but at this moment it seems preemptive. AlexEng(TALK) 23:58, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

AlexEng - Bishonen also thought that the full protection was no longer necessary due to the block placed on the user involved. Since you're uninvolved and feel it should be lifted, I'm going to do so before others feel that they have to express their opinions and mount up. There will be no red tape here! ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:01, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Osh, what are the chances that a user who claims to have "12 + years of WP experiences & observations", but posts this screed as his only edit from a new account, is an indefinitely blocked/banned user? - BilCat (talk) 00:13, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Oshwah, thank you for blocking 93.189.30.226. This individual has been jumping IPs all day, and just started evading its current block with a new IP, 77.68.13.219. Would you be able to block this IP as well, and semi-protect New Line Cinema and POW! Entertainment in order to dissuade the user from jumping IPs again? (I know this will probably just cause him to start vandalizing other articles, but it seems like the best we can do). Much thanks, 青い(Aoi) (talk) 00:54, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I removed a disparaging "motto" and added a unique and notable construction fact about the ship. I didn't fully understand your comments but I will take the act of reverting back to my second revision to mean that the changes are acceptable. Out of curiosity, what about my change flagged you to inspect it. Thank you. Bradley.Wayne (talk) 16:02, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bradley.Wayne! Welcome to Wikipedia! I apologize for the reversion I made to your edit - it wasn't intentional. The software I use to navigate through recent changes started locking up, and in my attempt to fix what was going on, I had pressed the shortcut key to undo the current change that was displayed (which just happened to be yours). I removed the resulting warning and I re-instated the changes you made to the article. Please let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything. I'll me happy to help you out and point you in the right direction. Happy editing! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 16:10, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

RevDel question

Hello Oshwah. How is (Redacted) a serious BLP violation? I would buy that it is Purely disruptive material. — xaosflux Talk 23:13, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Because bots are people too, Xaosflux!! That's actually pretty funny... I must have pressed the down key too few times and didn't realize that I had picked the field above the correct rev del reason. Thanks for pointing this out to me - for the record, this is obviously an RD3... lol ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:18, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adam9007 - Aww damnit, that account got an edit in... I must not have F5'd the contribs page for that user after I applied the block. To answer your question: Yes. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:28, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
F5'd? Is that a hotkey for a mass rollback? Adam9007 (talk) 00:34, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
LOL. I open the user's contributions page, block the user, then press F5 to refresh that page to verify for certain that the user didn't manage to edit anything and that I don't need to roll the revvy devvy truck out on anything. I did refresh the page... or I ...believe that I did. Apparently I didn't, because I managed to walk away from the situation and left an edit out like that... you know, something that a TOTAL NINNY like myself would do! :-P ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:39, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, I had forgotten that F5 is the hotkey for refreshing a page! The way you said it made me think it was something different. Adam9007 (talk) 00:43, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Penguins of Madagascar

I'm facing a dilemma at The Penguins of Madagascar. I rather listen to registered users, not the unregistered ones. What do you suggest I do? — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 04:21, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I made a constructive edit with edit summary and all, and reverts it immediately, like he never read it, and cries vandalism even though it wasn't. Also, he has no right to choose which editors to listen to, he has to listen for everyone, regardless of status. 2600:1004:B02E:D4C6:E09C:69D7:47F6:D057 (talk) 05:07, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
FilmandTVFan28 - All editors involved in a dispute have an equal voice, and so long as they do not edit war or break 3RR, and they cooperate and follow Wikipedia's dispute resolution process and discuss the matter civilly - they should be treated with the same level of respect and given the opportunity to speak and be heard. The fact that you have an account or choose to edit without one is irrelevant. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:16, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) I should have mentioned that treating everybody equally also applies to the enforcement of Wikipedia's policies. All editors involved in this dispute will be treated exactly the same - you will be given the equal respect and opportunity to participate and discuss the dispute at-hand as anybody else. But I will also treat all editors the same when it comes to the violation of policies and the use of administrator tools to enforce them. If edit warring or disruption continues on the article, all users who are directly found to be doing so will be blocked. Discuss this dispute peacefully and follow the dispute resolution policy and work together to resolve this :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:28, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
user:Oshwah - I'm just upset about negative feedback from that user. I do understand what you're saying though. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 05:25, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

F1 2018

Hi Oshwah,

Could you please take a loot at 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship? I know things have gotten out of control and that everyone involved is equally responsible for the whole sorry mess. But now we have some new information, it's time to request some edits.

Before we do that, I have proposed that the editors involved wait 24 hours before submitting that request. My reasons are two-fold: 1) it's a complex arrangement between all parties involved, and given the scale of the disagreement, I think it's important that all editors agree on the way forward; and 2) it's a show of good faith so that admins can see that the editors involved can actually work together. I think this is quite reasonable, and has offered some previously-uninvolved editors like Joseph2302 the chance to comment on the content.

However, ever since then, GeoJoe10000 and Wikipediaeditperson have repeatedly accused me of deliberately trying to prolong the protection period so that the article is intentionally incorrect. This could not be further from the truth, and some of their comments suggest that they do not even understand why I was opposed to the edits in the first place. Any time I try to do something constructive, they immediately step in and accuse me of deliberate wrongdoing. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 04:33, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Prisonermonkeys - If everyone involved agrees that the full protection should be removed, and they all ping me and say so - I'll lower it without question :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 06:11, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
We're pretty much ready to go. My more immediate concern is that even if the content dispute is resolved, there are some editors who are more interested in settling scores than doing anything constructive. They're treating the talk page as a battleground to the point where they have lost sight of what the original issue was. The initial dispute was over the use of an article that relied on an anonymous source without providing anything to substantiate it, but some have abandoned that and are trying to settle scores. My concern is what happens if the issue isn't resolved when the protection is lifted. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 06:36, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I would leave the protection in place until it's scheduled to end. It's not indefinite. That way the article get's some much needed stability. The two major edits which need to take place can be executed through edit requests. One is already live now and can be executed as no-one objects. The second should follow once we settle on the wording.Tvx1 15:37, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Oshwah,
As you are the admin who protected the article, could you please lift the protection on 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship? The content dispute has been resolved, appropriate changes made to the article through edit requests and everything has stabilised. There is some ongoing discussion about the precise wording on the talk page, but it can be resolved through editconsensus. There are also some extensive changes proposed for the article, but these have been discussed at length both on the talk page and at the Formula 1 WikiProject (it's a big section, but the most relevant stuff is at the bottom). You will also note that most of the key players from last week's flare-up have taken part in these discussions, demonstrating that we can work together (and the most disruptive editor has largely been neutralised). Prisonermonkeys (talk) 02:49, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Prisonermonkeys -  Done. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:06, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

OTRS comment

At OS nomination you said I do not have advanced permissions on other projects, and I currently do not have OTRS permissions (but that certainly can change). Emphasis added.

That certainly can. While it makes sense to concentrate on the OS nomination at the moment, we do have a stubborn backlog at OTRS, so I hope that when the dust settles, you would consider throwing your hat in the OTRS ring.--S Philbrick(Talk) 14:01, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Need help with reviewing a person's edit

Hey, could you do me a big favor and review someone's edit to the article, DuckTales? The individual in question is an editor called Spshu.

The reason I ask for your assistance is on a number of factors in regards to the edits they made to this article that I find questionable, considering the volume they have added in and what areas they changed. For example, they stated that they consider the small text used in the article's infobox to be extraneous in terms of formatting, but I don't agree to that at all. They also comment that the cartoon is the first Disney cartoon to be syndicated, but they have done nothing to prove this to be the case in terms of citations, and I can't say if this can be considered true or not. I stated how I felt their edits were questionable and that they should take this to the article's talk page to discuss what they wanted to do, but they just reverted it all, and claimed my reversion was unconstructive, which I find a bit hurtful when all I did was raise a concern over what was changed. Could you take a look at this, before they decide to revert again (after I reverted their reversion, requesting once more that they take the matter to talk page for discussion), please? Hi - thanks for your message. At the request of Barry Harris himself I have amended his Wiki page - apologies for not initially describing the changes (I've not amended Wiki for a while) - I have since rectified this. Many thanks Servitor Vek (talk) 18:42, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Servitor Vek and thanks for leaving me a message here. Sorry, but editing a page where you have a conflict of interest is a behavior that's not encouraged by the community. This is due to the inability for those users to maintain a neutral point of view with their edits. Any content added can also be cited as original research, which isn't allowed on Wikipedia articles. Original research is content that's referenced off an editors personal experience, relationships, findings, and references (even if its published). You can also call it "citing yourself". This is not allowed because such content cannot be verified for authenticity or accuracy. Please review this policies and guidelines, as they are very important. If you have questions about them, please let me know and I'll be happy to answer them. Thanks for understanding :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:48, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that Cantwell has made a name for himself. I was asking for a second opinion. Should I add more of these references for the moniker? There seem to be many who "don't like it". Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 01:45, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Jim1138 - Adding more references to verify something can never hurt. Least that's what I think :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:47, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A question

Dear Oshwah, how are you? I'm here per your kind offer of help. I was trying to open a Sockpuppet investigations subpage for a user but the page was protected while I tried it for anther user and it allowed me. What's wrong? Tnx. --Mhhossein talk 04:59, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mhhossein - Okay, first of all, why did you add "(under normal circumstances, I'd be asleep and unaware of this conversation, so wouldn't be able to do anything)" to Adam9007's response to a discussion above on my talk page in your message to me here? And secondly, I would need to know what SPI subpage you were trying to edit, exactly. Can you provide the link to it for me? ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:21, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Mhhossein - And yes, by the way, I'm always happy to give you a hand if you need it :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:24, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
See the edit once again, I've not added "(under normal circumstances..." to your TP! I checked the history and found that Asam himself had added the phrase. I was trying to report Dr.K. at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations. Thank you again. --Mhhossein talk 06:56, 19 September 2017 (UTC)let[reply]
Mhhossein - I'm a moron. Sorry for thinking you added that phrase! I... thought it was a little strange... LOL! Anyways, let me take a look. Stand by. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:00, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Mhhossein - It's protected because of abuse. What evidence do you have supporting your accusations toward Dr.K. of being a sock puppet? ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:03, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It's strange, what kind of abuse? Well, see Talk:Ali Khamenei. To be honest, I'm going to lean toward other users. Will the final report include any related accounts to that of the master, regardless of whom I have reported as puppet? --Mhhossein talk 07:19, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The report will typically list or include any accounts that were found to link to the one you reported, if any are found, yes. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:21, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Kind and helpful like before, thank you again. --Mhhossein talk 07:25, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Mhhossein - You bet! Come back any time you need more help :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:26, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Oshwah. My respect for you, as you know, is great and it will remain great, because I know you are one of the most helpful and friendly admins. But, please, when someone comes in with a patently false and bad-faith accusation, that smacks of trying to eliminate the opposition he got at Talk:Khamenei — by using WP:CLUEless means — please give this person a warning, and tell him/her that s/he needs to clean up his/her act, and not open — or attempt to open — clueless SPI investigations against good-faith and longstanding editors, especially when it is based on no evidence at all. He already opened a clearly disruptive SPI against the other two editors who disagreed with him/her at Talk:Khamenei. That's disruptive, to say the least. Thank you. Dr. K. 17:07, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Dr.K.. I really appreciate your feedback regarding this discussion - I think it'll help you understand what I was thinking if I explained my strategy here (which didn't work like I had hoped). I was attempting to try and be open and helpful to the user in hopes that he/she'd provide me with details and information regarding their accusation (which I already knew to be completely without merit). This was so that I could respond to the user with the need to stop what they're doing and the need to shape up. I find that if you don't start a discussion with guns blaring at the beginning, users are more receptive and will understand your warnings and input when you confront them with their behavior. I also find that, if you just answer their questions, they'll stop what they're doing or just leave. I hope this helped you to understand what I was trying to do. I certainly wasn't trying to encourage the user to lead them in the wrong direction. Sometimes this works, sometimes this doesn't. I do try my best, though... :-/ ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:54, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I can see your point Oshwah. It is obvious that you were not trying to encourage this user to open an SPI, so no need to explain that point. As I told you before, my respect for you is, and will remain, undiminished. I realise, that in a few, sad, cases such as this, a mild approach will not work. No problem. I accept the validity of your philosophy. :) Take care. Dr. K. 18:04, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Dr.K. - I appreciate that very much. Your feedback is always welcome here - I take it all as a positive learning opportunity. Thanks :-D ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:08, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This editor is a persistent, perncious vandal: User talk:49.0.12.206. Every couple of months.--- Maybe not pernicious, every couple of months though, and again last night, with a possible libel at Scott Putesky. scope_creep (talk) 11:33, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Scope creep - I took a glance at the IP's contributions and the page history. That's a tough spot, since the disruption is so slow and spaced over time. Since you've left a final warning on the IP's talk page, we should leave it at that for now. It looks like the content you're referring to is here, am I correct? If so, it appears that the additions you made were added back to the article. The reason I reverted your changes was due to your removal of content here, and without an explanation. You should be fine now, as the page appears to be to the revision as it was. Curiosity, Adventure & Love page has gone!

Hi!

I only requested originally to change the title from "Curiosity, Adventure and Love" to "Curiosity, Adventure & Love," but it seems like everything is gone! Can you put it back and just change the title. not to totally remove everything on it?

It's quite sad as we have made a lot of edits there already :(

Sorry this is my mistake. I don't know how is possible. Can you help me ?

Curiosity, Adventure & Love page has gone!

Am sorry but I do not understand some coding here, not really technical

but the page should have the table of contents, the synopsis, awards, cast, everything, as well as the poster. if you can put it back to it's original page and just change the title of it, that would be much appreciated. thanks! (unsigned)

Please see my note at User talk:Sunshinedeleon.assistant. I don't know what happened to this user's original text. Roberttherambler (talk) 16:11, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Annabella Sciorra

Hello,

I didn't provide a source because all of those sources that are in the person's birth year, say she was born 1960, and not 1964.

That change you made now it's wrong. There is no source telling that she was born in 1964. She was born in 1960.

I suggest you take a look at the sources that are in the page next to her birth year, which tell that her birth year is 1960. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.132.121.132 (talkcontribs)

The Orville

Hi, sorry to be a bother. I'm writing because you've blocked The Orville page for what I believe to be a spurious report left by a user called Hattiedog. I've been editing the page for around two weeks and haven't noticed any vandalism, rather I've seen a rash of new users/novice editors who seem unaware of what the rules are or what the procedure is for TV show pages. I've reverted a few of these people myself and not once have I seen them come back to re add something, or anything that would be considered vandalism.

Through blissful ignorance myself I responded to the page protection request(My first time on this area), was reverted, reverted back and noticed at the top of the page the procedure is to ask the admin, so here I am. I really don't think it's fair that now a host of users who have contributed to the page in their own way can no longer edit because of Hattiedogs report for two weeks. I would like to request that you take a quick look at the page(Specifically the reversions), I think you'll see that pretty much all of them are excited fans unaware of the rules as mentioned, I wouldn't label any as vandals. 82.15.11.92 (talk) 23:24, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There's absolutely no need to apologize; I appreciate you for messaging me and asking me to re-evaluate a decision I made. Sure, let me take a look and see what the best course of action is moving forward. The last thing I want to do is to shut out editors who are making legitimate contributions to an article and due to the protection I've applied to it. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:34, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The article is only pending changes protected; this allows you to edit the page without restriction. The only difference is that your changes must be reviewed by a pending changes reviewer before it will go live and be displayed to the general public (non-logged in users). You shouldn't have any issues with editing the article... ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:37, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Curiosity, Adventure & Love page has gone!

Let me again, reiterate the problem.

First of all, we have an existing page for Curiosity, Adventure and Love. Jessie Lichauco is totally different page. So this Curiosity, Adventure and Love is now missing cos somebody from your end change it's name to Curiosity, Adventure & Love which obviously has the ampersand "&". When your admin did the change, the whole page has gone!

Originally, "Curiosity, Adventure and Love" page has all the details: poster, casts, synposis, awards, etc!

Your admin deleted the whole page! We only requested to change the title but NOT TO DELETE THE PAGE!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sunshinedeleon.assistant (talkcontribs) 06:09, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Oshwah

Previously it was written as "Reportedly, a total of 85,000 bucket seats[7] have been installed in the stadium for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in India.[8] The capacity of the stadium has been increased from 68,000 to 85,000 for the FIFA U-17 World Cup". But just a week ago I visited the Stadium and asked the Ground Officials about the capacity and they told that now the capacity become 67,000. And that day only I read this article in Goal.com and then I believed this fact.

I'd love to change Donald Trump's lead to "Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is a racist, misogynistic jerk whose most redeeming feature is that there is likely to be a point in the future where he is dead and I am still alive", but our neutrality and verifiability policies prevent this from happening. The Apprentice

Hi. I'm User:The brave celery under an IP and I'm the one who made that original edit about "The Apprentice". This makes sense to me because, unless they want to do it with another host, Mr. Trump will be incredibly busy, and Arnold Schwarzennegger (spelling?) has "refused to do another season". On the celebrity apprentice page, you'll see (and this one was not added by me) that is says that show has effectively been cancelled.

Hi Tobybenson, and thank you for leaving me a message here with your request for assistance. Sorry, but I don't believe the sources you provided are considered reliable to meet the requirements stated in Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living people. You also state that you "manage" the article - this concerns me. It sounds like there are conflict of interest issues here - something you really shouldn't be finding yourself crossing into. I suggest that you review this guideline and let me know if you have any questions. To answer your question -- content that is added to an article that's a biography of a living person must be referenced by a reliable source. Please review these policies very carefully and let me know if you have questions. Thanks again for leaving me a message, and I wish you happy editing :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:24, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, and thanks for leaving me a message with your concerns. I see that you're making changes to the article over a series of edits. I saw a few individual edits that, by themselves (and not realizing that you were making many edits together), were concerning because you didn't explain what you were doing and why using an edit summary. You had removed content, removed a section, and referenced a source that seemed to be a blog. However, since you're making a series of changes, I'm going to revert the content I removed - I apologize for any frustration or confusion. Moving forward, you should add an edit summary with each of your changes so that other editors understand what youre doing and why. If you need anything else, let me know and I'll be happy to help you. Cheers :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:11, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry didn't mean to vandalise. I had a bunch of text copied on notepad, and planned to paste it all back in. The reason for the blog sources is that they're the best you got. The original sources are lost (Like Gunota for the interview), and I'm pretty sure they're accurate, given some of those info are repeated on other Japanese blogs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.136.14.124 (talk) 17:20, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Jaredgk2008 vandalism

Hey, Oshwah. I recently found a sock of Jaredgk2008 (SPI), and, where there's one, there's usually another. Going through the range contribs for one of the IP ranges he used, I found you reverted an IP sock in this edit. If you're unfamiliar with him, he's a serial BLP vandal who likes to write fanciful yet highly defamatory hoaxes about celebrities. One of his trademarks is using the name "Firooz Oskooi" gratuitously in his hoaxes. If you see anyone add BLP violations with that name attached, you should probably block on sight without sock tags (per WP:DENY). NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 19:20, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Editig Rawlplug Ltd.

Hi Oshwah, I've been asked to help with a wiki page for Rawlplug Ltd. as part of my University project related to family-owned businesses. Initially the task was just to tidy an old wiki up but I offered to change it into a piece of text that reflects better what this company actually does and they kindly offered a small compensation for my time. I see now that I made an error admitting that whilst seeking advice on how I should proceed with changing the article's title from Rawlplug Ltd to Rawlplug. I don;t quite understand how and where I should make a statement about the fact that my relationship with the Rawlplug company was part of the university project and any compensation for my time was just to cover my costs. I did not make any profit on creating a Wiki about Rawlplug. I see that I've managed to make a couple of other editors quite angry and that was not my intention. In the future, I will also remember about providing explanations for any edits in the articles I may decide to create. Many thanks for your help in advance:) jowita ```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jowita ch (talkcontribs) 19:47, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

River of Blood (monument) page

You left a note on my talk page regarding edit warring on the River of Blood (monument) page. The user, "I am One of Many" is continuously editing this article to push a partisan point of view by adding superfluous information that is not relevant to the article's subject. I am editing the article to make it view point neutral by removed the superfluous / incorrect information and the user "I am One of Many" keeps adding back. That user needs to be stopped from continuously editing the page because they are flagrantly and repeatedly violating the neutral point-of-view rules. Just so you know...

The previous block on this IP address was for 1 month (although that block was awhile ago), and no edits since then have been constructive at all... 172.58.46.149 (talk) 21:15, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I made some edits and they were deleted.

Hello, I am new to this, but I figured out what I was doing wrong and posted some edits to the AT&T Stadium page and the NRG Stadium page. However, someone named Lander deleted them and I can't figure out how to message them. I am guessing they are an admistrator like you. The edits I made were not for advertising, per say. My company built the fields and installed the turf at the two stadiums and they should be noted on there. How can I get my edits to be added without being deleted?

Hello! If you can find a reliable source to support your statements (like a newspaper or something like that), then you should be able to add it in one sentence. You should just say who installed it, and nothing else. There isn't more needed. Also, there should never by external links in the body of an article. If you are having trouble citing your source, then see this page. Thanks! RileyBugz会話投稿記録 21:29, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Re: I made some edits and they were deleted

I am confused. Like I said this is new to me. I am having a hard time moving around the pages and finding my previous submitted note.

You said to read a certain page and I went there but I didn't see anything that was related to my posts on AT&T Stadiumm and NRG Stadium.

What I'm saying is that you have to change your edits to get them reinstated. To do that, you have to cite reliable sources to support your claims. Also, you should not say things about the company, like it being trusted. In all honesty, one should be able to say that they installed the turf in one sentence. I linked you to the page I did just in case you did not know how to source your edits. Thanks! RileyBugz会話投稿記録 21:40, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I made another edit. I am hoping its ok. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ksuits (talkcontribs) 21:54, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You say you can't have links, but there are links for a bunch of things in the body. Minnesota Vikings, NRG Energy, Reliant Energy, Act Global are all links in the body. I don't understand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ksuits (talkcontribs) 21:56, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What I mean is that you can't have external links (links that are just blue with nothing else are ok). If it has a little box with an arrow and it is in the body, then it is not ok. RileyBugz会話投稿記録 21:59, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ksuits! Forgive me - I saw these edits here and here, and thought that you were testing the use of ref tags. My reversion also appears to have removed the content you added. Well, you removed sourced content and replaced it with content that was speculative and unreferenced. Perhaps start a discussion on the article's talk page if you feel that this edit is justifiable - I think others should weigh in before such a removal is performed. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:29, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

About the Berisha Tribe

Hi Oshwah, I forgot to leave an explanation. Sorry about that.

However, about this part: "Many Islamized Serbian families in Kosovo entered the fis of Berisha. In 1967 it was recorded that Romani families in Podrima and in the Đakovica srez are under the fis of Berisha, as they are the most powerful in that region,[29] while Magjupi[where?] are under Berisha or Gashi.[30]"

This is 1. NOT a reliable source and 2. fabricated. There are too much of these fabricated stories from the serbian side. Trying to lable the albanian nation as a "bunch of gypsies, mixeed nation". It's ridiculous. Serbias goverment is known for labeling all kind of ethnic or religion groups, minorities (such as Vlach, Romas, Albanians, Muslims, Boshniaks, Turks, etc) as "gypsies". An example: my grandfather was not killed by serbs - just (!) because he had darkblond hair and blue eyes. He was declared as "an albanian with possibly slavic origin". So they let him go. There are books (written from serbian authors) where it is stated that census in Kosovo was based on appearance. Ppl with dark hair were declared and labled as "turks", "gypsies" etc. Ppl with light brown, blond hair were declared as ppl of "slavic origin". How they self-identifies was not even a question. This is called albanophobia, discrimmination and census falsification. It's a fact that the albanian nation is the most homogenous nation in entire balkan. Serbian goverment needs to back up with such fairy tales and anti-albanian propaganda. Not to mention that these ppl who entered albanians fis (tribe) did not call themself "serbian" but sandjak and entered mainly muslim fis, or dominant muslim fis. They were not orthodox. And there are many of them in Turkey. They still self-identify as "sadjak". And it's not uncommon that they have part albanian ancestry. even 300 years ago it was considered as a shame for the albanian fis to intermarry with orthodox (aka "shkije"). Basically: marriage with Serbs = exile, leave the tribe. Pls do your research.

As for the Romas (btw. magjup is offensive): Marriage and contact with this ethnic group was a bigger taboo than a marriage with a serb. Let aone a fis-inclusion. Romas were not under albanian tribes, it's not accepted today and for sure not back then. Especially not in the region around Gjakova. Romas were the last one to be accepted under an albanian fis. I know the region around Gjakova and the fis very well. I have both tribes (father and mother) very well documented. However, the roma ppl were not "under albanian fis" - but were infact always among themselves. There was a small circle of romas near our tribe (about 15 min.). They came from the north and asked if they can settle down near our village. These roma ppl were invited in albanian villages only during weddings, as musicians. For Christmans or Bajram (neighbour village is dominant muslim) it was something like a "tradition" in our region to bring food or sugar to these roma ppl. These romas left before the KS war started. There were already wars happening. Romas had obvious distance from regions populated by Albanians. There were some albanian fis who chased away romas, but there were also fis wo tolerated roma ppl in the region. It was mainly a decision that the tribesman made. but like I said, they could not enter or live with albanians, for example not in the same village, and they were not included to fis. Till to this day marriages with roma ppl are a taboo. Not only in the albanian community, but pretty much all over Balkan. Mixing with romas is seen as "against the moral". Romas do in fact also avoid marriage with non-romas. Trying to keep their community together and not to assimilate into foreign culture. There is in fact a Paranoia problem in Balkan. Ppl still fear the extinction of their own kind, culture and language.

However, this is a page about an albanian tribe - and serbian "theories" or "sources" cannot be tolerated here. serbian sources like this are for a FACT not neutral. something like "Zivot i običaji narodni, Srpski etnografski zbornik, Srpski etnografski zbornik" ... clearly NOT a source and telling , once again, fabricated stories.

It is only fair to demand neutral sources. Pls remove. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.162.106.227 (talk) 15:38, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel that the content isn't accurate, or if it isn't properly referenced by reliable sources, you're of course okay to challenge and remove the content. But you need to explain why you're removing it by adding an edit summary. This helps other editors to understand what you're doing and why. Do this, and you're all set :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:43, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Zetron Page Edits

Hello,

My name is Jim, I work for Zetron, and I am the person who recently edited the Zetron page. The information that was deleted refers to an unsubstantiated claim (there is no reference to it). And actually, I was going to look into requesting that the Zetron page be taken down (per my boss' request).

Please feel free to contact me with questions.

Best Regards,

Tyler Hynes Edit

Hi there. Glad there is a way to talk to you. I have been contributing to Tyler's page for years. I am his family and manage his affairs. I am now dealing with this for the second time. Tyler's religious affiliations are his own and not for Wikipedia. This is his private life. He has helped with Church Campaigns years ago but this is old news. He does not want any religion stated under personal at all. This is not good that it keeps coming up. Wikipedia is suppose to be for information on an individual but ethnic issues and religious issues and political issues do not belong there especially if stated that it is not wanted otherwise. I keep removing it and it keeps being put back on. Would like your help in resolving this issue.

Thanks alot

Manipulation Under Anesthesia

I removed two sections as they are now incorporated into other sections. The first section on hip replacement is now covered in the first well-referenced section on extremity manipulation. The external link to one article gives undue emphasis to an article above other more current and more thorough reviews. I also made numerous additions of reference citations that had been marked as needed. I also edited grammar and corrected headings.

All of the changes were lost when you placed the eliminated sections back. If you can revert it back to what I had just done it would be greatly appreciated.

I am new at this so I would also appreciate your assistance for knowing how to better communicate what I am doing so the changes will be accepted. I am being very careful and working with another doctor to make sure that everything that is placed in here can be backed-up 100%.— Preceding unsigned comment added by CritCred (talkcontribs) 23:50, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editor

Job Labasan has once again reverted other editors, over multiple pope articles, in an attempt to add unsourced information.

Do you want to handle this or should I file an SPI, since Kimley Labasan, Kim Labasan and three IPs49.147.191.157,49.147.183.110,119.93.41.213, all appear to be doing the same edits. --Kansas Bear (talk) 03:14, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hold on, I'm on it. Drmies (talk) 03:16, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kansas Bear, here's what you do: file that SPI, under the oldest account. Add the IPs--the two 49 IPs are old (and stale) but they are important--what you're arguing is that this is a long-term disruptor who's been doing the same thing over and over again. Mention that Kim Labasan and Job Labasan are a perfect CU match: I just confirmed that. Here's the catch: they don't overlap, and it could be a lost password--I can tell you that I found such a suggestion in the log. Now, I blocked that Kim account in early September and left a comment somewhere, saying the same thing I'm saying here: if there is no overlap it's not easy to argue there is abuse of multiple accounts. At that time I think I confirmed the two K accounts; you can find it in my history of that day, if it's important. Then, the next admin should decide if all these accounts should be blocked and if the "sockpuppet" label should be slapped on it. At the very least you'll have an SPI you can point to next time. OK? 1922 Setting Change

Hi there,

I noticed you reversed the change I made to the 1922_(novella) wikipedia entry. The article states in multiple locations that the novella is set in Nebraska, not Nevada, as it states in the category at the bottom of the page. Please change the category "Novels set in Nevada" to "Novels set in Nebraska."

If you must have a source for this, here's one: http://stephenking.com/library/short_story/1922.html

Thanks.
