If this chart is showing much more than zero, then the table will be updated slowly or not at all.
Hi Yasht. Happy 1 April. FYI you can't add lyrics under copyright to talk/userpages like you just did. I have reverted the 2 edits. Cheers. --kelapstick(bainuu) 11:51, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I saw on the watchlist. I gess that I got carried away with the crazyness happening today in Wiki. I will take care of it in future. Thanks for being vigilant. Yasht101:)16:34, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yea! Thank you soo much. I did similar things in real life also which ended up in my leg getting semi-fractured. But, my activities on wiki has also cost me ;) See the warning I got due to my childishness (not to forget that I m not an adult) below this barnstar! Yasht101:)16:37, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not use talk pages as forums or chat rooms.
Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. He might be a regular, his edits are good, but on talk pages, he get's out of hand. Perhaps, we ought to take this more seriously to him. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:11, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
M extremly sorry for whatever I did today. I wont do it for next 364 days, I gurantee. So, just one question is there in my mind now. Do I still have an eligible level 3 warning? Yasht101:)16:31, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just kidding, anyways, thanks for the tea. I didnt had tea since long time and this one is strong as I like. Thanks again! Yasht101:)17:14, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
yes it was random, and only 3, the editor before you might have wrongly assessed that does not mean you will do the same, This is called Passing the buck and finding fault with others, he did it, u cherry-picked my edits, etc etc hope you learn --ÐℬigXЯaɣ05:32, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the barnstar. Let us have a cup of coffee for your appreciation and for the general progress we are making. I have been watching your infectious enthusiasm with pleasure. Keep up the good work and coffee will help, I guess. --VasuVR (talk, contribs) 01:26, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Its okay... I really love the shade of your sign, 1 week ago I was also using larger fonts, but rules are rules (They are also meant to break, and I love doing it which ends up into getting a vandal warning ). Anyways, good to see that you changed it Yasht101:)01:39, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I saw on my watchlist. When I A7ed it, there was only written that 'it is a cast in some village' and that didn't made enough sense to be in Wiki. But the article is improved now and notability can be found now.
LOL! Looks like they copied another article. Now they've got a new deletion pending, and this time I'm not going to say anything! :-D - Denimadept (talk) 19:52, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for appreciating me. It is always encouraging.
There are big guns then me also, like Ssriram mt (Who awarded me the barnstar and coordinator of the drive) has 8000+ and User:VasuVR with 8500+ assessments, they are real champions.
There are still 40K articles to be assessed and I'll keep on assessing till it is brought down to 0. At least I can do 10K more odd assessments for India. Yasht101:)05:57, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't think calling him pathetic was helpful, even though he's clearly a difficult editor who doesn't listen (and is now blocked). Dougweller (talk) 12:31, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I had a hunch that they'll be blocked in near future. I saw that they are blocked just now in my watchlist. Actually, their replies were stupid and they just wanted to show that how cool they are, though they were never, and that made me say 'pathetic thing'. Thank you and Happy editing! wikiproject India
Hello Yasht, I just want suggestions whether this articles belong to wikiproject India or not.
Dear Solomon, thanks for bringing them to my notice. I have assessed both of them within the scope of WP India. Here are the reason for their inclusion in WP IND:
Gerhard Fischer (diplomat) - As stated by User:SupernovaExplosion, He stayed for 5 years in South India so the article is in scope of WP IND. I saw that you added importance parameter with 'Mid' level, but it is not proper so I have reassessed it with 'low'
George Thibaut - Yes, the article is in the scope of WP IND, because in 1875 he was appointed as Professor at the Government Sanskrit College , Varanasi. This is enough to qualify for WP IND.
Well done with this! Although I'm not sure how much help can I do with WP India assessment due to time shortage, I'll definitely try to assess at least 200 WP Pakistan articles to get a barnstar. --SupernovaExplosionTalk10:42, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I'll see that Pakistan articles are assessed in one or two month as there are only 14K, which is very less (14K articles were assessed in WP IND within 20 days) Yasht10101:16, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But Wikipedia:WikiProject United States/Assessment/Tag & Assess 2012 is going to fail due to number of reasons and so I have to declare it inactive. Anyways, there are few more editors from different countries, and I have contacted few of them which will help me in further work in this field. They will also take care that those upcoming projects wont fail like US did. Yasht10103:44, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have updated your tally for now. But, it will be much better if you keep a note and update yourself as it will be easy for me to review your work. Its okay if you are not willing to do it, as I'll do it for sure, but it will consume more time. Anyways, you are doing great! Yasht10113:55, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Yasht101 I was wondering if you could give me some editing tips and probably recommend me some tools for editing that will make it less tedious.--LoganLopez (talk) 03:11, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Tell me that in what kind of work are you interested in either from the e.g., stated above or do you also have your own desire to do something, so that I can help you? Yasht10103:26, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the references to the software and I think I would like to wikify articles and patrol new pages, as well as maybe make new articles.--LoganLopez (talk) 03:30, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay then. Few tips for your future work;
Patrolling new pages - Use this tags if you find a article which is not proper to propose for deletion: Criteria for speedy deletion and if they dont fit in CSD, then you may PROD them and if you have doubt weather the article is good for wiki or not, you may AfD them. NOTE: Use Criteria for speedy deletion tags very care fully after going through the criteria properly mentioned here. If you have any doubt weather the article fits in the criteria or not, then seek my help or leave the article.
Creations of articles - If you dont want to hastily make a bad article, then you can develope the article in sub page and then you can move them to article space. I'll help you in the article that you create and how to create sub page is stated here; Wikipedia:Subpages
Regarding the parameter issues on the WP Pakistan template, these fields were removed (taken out) from the template a long time ago and replaced with these sub-project parameters instead. The documentation has not been updated, that's why this is still there. So just ignore it and use the variables for the sub projects when you tag. If you need me to explain more clearly or don't quite understand what I'm saying, just ping me on my talk page. Regards, Mar4d (talk) 03:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Great. If you have time, just remove the entire section on the "variable values for sub-cat" from the tag and assess page, so as to not confuse other people. Cheers, Mar4d (talk) 03:29, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Easter Greetings! :-) Hi, and thanks for the chocolate bunny! Really, i don't mind having two, quite to the contrary! (yes, i am that greedy; but no, it isn't all for me… now i can pass some on to fellow editors! ;-) Also i'm sending you a little postcard so you can pin up on your chocolate fridge. Best of luck!!! benzband (talk) 14:57, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Even I'd like to have mop. I hope you do tireless work as you did in posting the same message on the talk pages of allmost entire wikipedia: live up to people's confidence in me.
BTW, if you go for RfB, then its very hard to get through. So, my only wise advise will be to grant all the rights possible (rollbacker, reviewer, autopatrolled...etc) to the editors who frequently take part in voting. Everything's fair in love n' war. And RfA/RfB are not less then war in Meet the Spartans. You can start with me. I have 160 articles created so grant me autopatrolled
I had a look and you do have over 100 (I didn't make the server groan by looking past the first screen) although all the ones I looked at were little stubs. You seem to have learned to cover up the bare URL refs, and I think you can probably get the right without bribery and corruption: ask here :-) Yngvadottir (talk) 17:53, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for doing all the ratings on the articles for India. What you are doing sorts the work so that other people can join and participate. You have improved a lot of the articles I watch by taking your time to do this. Thank you. Blue Rasberry (talk)23:10, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the coffee. I it. It gave me refreshment for start of my day.
I am interested in India articles but right now I am busy adding content and ought not to take time away from that to sort it. I appreciate what you are doing. Good luck in the contest. You are doing something really valuable. Blue Rasberry (talk)03:51, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
G7 applies when the author blanks the article. And that article was not blanked but only tagged with G7. If you want to delete it while assuming good faith under G7, then first you have to blank the page and then tag it under db-author. Thank you! Yasht10106:43, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hate to be a pedant, but Yash isn't entirely correct above. Whilst it's true that if the only substantive author of a a page blanks this is taken to be a request for deletion, said author can also tag the article for G7without blanking the page first (or ask another editor to tag it for them). If the page is blanked by the author (and there are no substantive intermediate edits by other users), any editor can place a G7 tag, but page blanking is not a necessity.
G7 applies when the only author of substantial content requests deletion either explicitly or by blanking the page. Best, Bmusician08:22, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Two times to remove G7: First, when there's a lot of actual work by others - and this can be hard to tell. If there are IP edits, were they the author or just visitors? If there are signed edits by others, are they significant edits or typo correction, tags etc.? Reverted edits don't count, IMO. Second, is the G7 posted or the blanking done by the author? IP posting or blanking doesn't count. (G7 posted by a patroller following author blanking or a talkpage message is OK.) If an IP is involved, remove G7 and contact the author. Get them to sign in. Peridon (talk) 09:32, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to say thanks for taking an interest in the project and starting the drive. I used to work as the coordinator for WPUS and a lot of the supported projects but retired due to some unnecessary drama that I won't get into. Now I just poke around a bit. Anyway, don't take it personally if no one comments much. A lot of folks in the project are disheartened with things that have happened over the last couple months so a lot of them turned to other less dramatic areas. Unfortunately I think that WPUS and many or even most of the supported projects will probably go inactive due to lack of interest or ongoing harrassment by people outside those projects trying to force them to do things the members didn't want to do. Good luck. 138.162.8.58 (talk) 17:43, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are similar contest which have been a great success. For e.g.,
Thats true. I think this contest will fail in US so have to declare it as fail if more then 10 editors didn't join it in 5 days. I appreciate your response. Thanks for taking little interest. Anyways, I'd like to advise you to join Wikipedia back as we really want good editors like you Yasht10101:03, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Tag and Assess 2012 - Awards
Working Man's Barnstar
For your efforts in Tag and Assess 2012 - many thanks and wish you achieve many more in the project.
Thank you so much for doing this. Its my 1st achievement on this and I hope I'll achieve all 10 in future, at least I can try (but I may fail if you continue your tempo ;)) Yasht10110:30, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Help : Tag & Assess 2012
Hi yash, I wanted to know how to include the score in the Individual tallies section of Tag & Assess 2012 wiki project india. Waiting for your reply. Thanks -- Madhuric (talk) 14:22, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have to do it yourself. First of all, open and edit Tally section. There add your name like other editors have.
Then to count your score, Go to your contribution page, select the namespace to "Talk" and check the box of "Only show edits that are latest revisions". you can also select month there, then search and count for the exact score.
You have to do all that and have to update your score like I and other editors do regularly. Afterwards, the coordinator will review your score and if you have got a good number of assessments, then they will award you. Thanks! If you still have doubt, you can always ask me. Yasht10114:29, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the barnstar; however I must admit it was only a split of content from a different article, I can't claim responsibility for writing it all :( --KarlB (talk) 18:13, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I saw that they are collective info from other articles. But collecting all the info and then making it suitable for 1 article is itself a hard thing to do. And also your contributions have been of good ones. You are doing great work. You deserved that award and keep up the good work, I may award you more of different types if you continue your tempo! :) Yasht10105:29, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Yasht101. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Friendly Savages, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article claims coverage in reliable sources. Thank you. — Malik ShabazzTalk/Stalk18:06, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In the 1st one- If an article is highly important for India, then it has to be highly important for politics group as the article is related to politics. So, I re-reassessed.Yasht10122:59, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to disscuss the 2nd one with you- It was a big kidney scam (one of the biggest in our country). I have added Mid importance for Haryana after reassessing. But can you explain please that why a mid level importance at national level is not proper. It is important comparatively to the other low-rated articles. It was multi-billion rupee scam in which kidneys were smuggeled to nations such as US, UK, etc from UP. It is not limited to borders of our nation. Also, it is not a small thing which has low importance. Millions of ruppees were earned in the form of black money. And the fact that kidney were taken from illiterate people in UP by cheating is not a small thing to do. Kidney-scams occur very rarely and it is a big problem. So I have added Mid level importance back. Please clarify that why do you think that it is of low-importance.?
Actually I was just copying and pasting material. And I haven't heard their name and I just pasted. Sorry for that and Thanks for pointing me out and being vigilant! :) Yasht10110:48, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I already know that and quietly reassed whenever i came across them (I dont appreciate nagging others) but as their number increased I felt that its not good for the Project so left a message, Please note that putting a cursory look on the Article's Lead para (and in some cases the categories) doesnt take much time, And will be of great help for improving the article in future, if they are correctly assessed. Lets Focus on Quality rather than Speedily doing incorrect assessments. thanks for understanding--ÐℬigXЯaɣ12:30, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how serious you were about wondering about the similarity between Pedro and my sig., but I always try to respond to any inquiry as to my actions; be it as editor or admin. Some years back (08, or 09) there was indeed an April Fool's day incident where many folks copied their sigs, to look like Pedro's. I joined in on that. I noticed that as I was scrolling through a page rather quickly that it was pretty easy to spot. I also liked the way it looked to. So I kept it. Hope that answers everything you were asking - but feel free to ping me if you have other questions. Cheers. — Ched : ? 00:53, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was actually serious about the sign (though using the stupid joke of unambitious copyright infragement). Its fine, editors can differentiate. Thanks for answering and responding (because few admins don't) :) Yasht10106:38, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You both are admins, in fact great admins. I tried to do something different on this 1st April, but it wasn't at all like you all did. There were so many editors involved and that made it amazing. I hope that we can do something similar in the next 1st April... Yasht10110:52, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Yasht101. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Nitin Jawale, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 has previously been declined by another admin. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 13:26, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for informing. I kept the tag again to see that some admin might re-consider it. Even I thought that A7 didn't applied, but re-tagged. My bad. I have PRODed it. Yasht10113:30, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I thought myself that A7 did just about apply, and I actually deleted it before seeing that it had been previously declined. Admins are reluctant to over-rule each other without very solid reasons, and replacing a tag to see if another admin will bite is called "admin-shopping" and is discouraged. Cheers, JohnCD (talk) 13:34, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not that. Actually the editor who declined the request; I, after seeing their contributions, thought that they were a normal editor. And that is why I re-tagged it thinking that an admin might consider looking at it. I didn't knew that they were an admin till you replied. Yasht10113:38, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK, understood. That's more of a grey area, but if a db tag is removed by a reasonably established editor it's worth thinking twice, or maybe discussing with them, before replacing it. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:54, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In recognition of your effort for patrolling new pages, nominating policy-violating articles for deletion, and preventing Wikipedia from being used for promotional purposes, I hereby award you this Special Barnstar. SupernovaExplosionTalk14:22, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have no idea what this means to me! Seriously, I always want to do the right thing in patrolling and love it too. Specially when I m appreciated for it, it is the best thing on wiki for me. Thank you so much for this... Yasht10114:24, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is an free encyclopedia. Anyone can edit anything which is in their knowledge but only constructively. For further details please go through the welcome message on your talk page. Happy editing! Yasht10115:37, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I know it's free to edit or to do anything you like .
But next time, I hope when you want to edit it, please talk to me or send message before making a page change
i don't think you can do better than me.
I have no relation to that place and this does not mean that I cannot edit in a good way. You were removing contents, which can be considered as WP:Vandalism
I don't think that doing vandalism can be considered a better way of editing articles and it is discouraged to remove content without proper explaination.
There are 16 million users on Wikipedia. If I'll not rollback, then someone else will surely do it.
What you are saying is not proper as you don't own that article. I m born and live in Ahmedabad so it does not mean that only I'll edit it. No one has to take permission of anyone or have to inform anyone to edit an article.
The reason was that if we there is list of people. According to me, it means that list of everyone because list of people means everyone, so added notable. Anyways thanks for giving the link, I got it. Happy editing! Yasht10111:20, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Quolowardia
I've declined speedy as there is a claim to significance in their age and in having a reputable publisher. However... I can't find evidence outside non-publisher sales pages that Leadstart are involved. Just tried to get into Leadstart's site to check again, but it won't let me in. Over to you for some digging... I've AfDed it. Peridon (talk) 10:22, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
At the time I nominated it for Speedy, it wasn't properly done so thought that someone might be just testing. Also, they mentioned the story, which I have seen in many pages which get A7ed. The articles states that the authors are 14 and 11 years old who dont have article on wiki nor there were enough results in google to get their importance. So....
I m pretty sure that they'll get AfDed
Other thing, I resumed patrolling new pages after more then a month. Though I started patrolling again yesterday and my score is 22 out of 23, because this one was AfDed. I may cause wrong tags. Yasht10111:29, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There is a protest in London that uses this name, so this may just be multiple individuals attending the same event. Another admin has zapped the second creation (I would have deleted as a blatant copyright violation) and I will keep an eye out for additional inappropriate creations. --Allen3talk12:42, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Please see this to avoid such problems in future: Wikipedia:Edit summary (due to this, your work will not be mistaken as vandalism or something else)
I saw that article, its great! Sorry for the trouble caused and so use edit summary to describe what you did next time. Thanks and Happy editing! :) Yasht10101:48, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, actually, I m gonna add 77 more userboxes today to it making more funny. And about RfA, it was 1st April. You can legally vandalize wikipedia on that day (not in articles). So there were 6 such crappy RfAs and I joined it ;) Yasht10102:18, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes. You are right. It was removed without any reason so I reverted it. I also know that it is not a right, so I have left a message on the article's talk page to discuss it and take steps. Yasht10108:15, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
WP Pakistan - Tag & Assess 2012
Hey! Can we add a new header on the portal page requesting a special assessment for B class or higher categories. I came across this article East Pakistan Air Operations, 1971 which has been rated B by WP Military. However I believe it requires major copy-editing and cleanup even for B class. Some statements just don't seem right;
"People of Dhaka witnessed thrilling low-level dogfights throughout 4 and 5 December. The IAF concentrated in attacking the aircraft on the ground. However, for the dear price paid, it failed to cause significant damage to the PAF assets in well-dispersed and camouflaged locations"
I agree with you. I m just confused with the term you used 'Special assessment'. Can you please explain it in details. I m eager to help. Yasht10108:34, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry if the term makes it confusing. All I am saying is add a new section on the project page where any article for which assessment assistance is required can be added. This could be for B grade articles since they require thorough reading or if we are not sure what to grade. Samar (Talk . Contributions) 08:59, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
For that, I think that it will be best to ask on talk page of the project because, if we create a seperate page then it is less likely that everyone will visit it. If you have doubt for any page, it can be asked here or on the talk page. To make it easy, I m adding a new message on the top of the project page. Thank you :) Yasht10109:03, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Yasht101, and sorry about this. I'm not contesting your speedy tag at all - I think it was well-placed. I just thought that by redirecting to the new stub I made, I might be able to channel the efforts of those writers in a more productive direction. Hope you don't mind too much! Best — Mr. Stradivarius♫10:02, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Few IPs are creating a mess of the article. Anyways, I have fixed it and I was going to after some time, but saw your message so did. And yes, I m an regular editor and I'll keep it proper if something like that again happens in future. Thanks! Yasht10110:41, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. I'll do it soon, but right now, I m little busy and going off for a party, I'll return home and then will watch a serial at 8 pm. I think you can gess, what it could be! I love it. I'll add plot later, but if you can, then my help will always be with you. Yasht10111:02, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
