Bitcoin SV (Bitcoin Satoshi Vision) is a cryptocurrency. The declared goal of the project is to realize alleged vision of the creator of Bitcoin known as Satoshi Nakamoto by restoring the features of the original bitcoin protocol[1][non-primary source needed] and by enabling unlimited sized blocks. Bitcoin SV is endorsed by Australian computer scientist Craig Wright, a public figure who claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto, however, these claims are not reliable due to the lack of a proof of knowledge of the private keys controlling the first bitcoins.

After Bitcoin Cash block height #556766, the miners had to decide which fork, out of the two, would be supported by their SHA-256 hash power. The de facto Bitcoin Cash chain is currently Bitcoin-Adjustable Blocksize Cap, known as Bitcoin-ABC, due to having the most hash power out of the two forks.[2][unreliable source?]

Calvin Ayre, who's company Coingeek had the most hash rate invested in Bitcoin SV during the hash war, confirmed that Bitcoin SV will not fight for the ticker anymore and will henceforth continue under the new ticker BSV[3].

On 7th December Bitcoin SV (BSV) had overtaken Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in market capitalization — $1.94 billion to $1.78 billion[4] but has since fallen behind BCH again.
