Lists of cross-dressers moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Lists of cross-dressers, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Failed miscarriage listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Failed miscarriage. Since you had some involvement with the Failed miscarriage redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so.  — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  06:47, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

For your information

Hi *Treker! I noticed that you recently removed a merge discussion link from WP:Barnstars [(https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Barnstars&diff=next&oldid=874524898 diff)] as there was no ongoing merge discussion. While that's absolutely true, there apparently used to be a discussion at the awards talk page that just recently got archived (viewable here.) You don't have to revert yourself or do anything differently; I just thought that I should fill you in on the rest of the details in case they make a difference to you. That's all. Hope this helps! A draft

Hello I created a dreaft about Draft:Same-sex marriage in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands from information that i can only find from the net Its short i know but its a jurisdiction so i think it deserves it's own like other overseas territories Do u know how and Would u help in any way to make it a page and not just a draft Thank you AdamPrideTN (talk) 11:49, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Have you asked on the LGBT project talkpage, AdamPrideTN? I'm sure they would be able to help!★Trekker (talk) 11:52, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Team Thor: Part 2

Hey, I just wanted you to know that ultimately the goal is to get all the Team Thor info on one article (similar to the Marvel One Shots page) given the amount of sources and other info available for each part. It isn't really worth having three articles. I've started crafting such in my sandbox here and would welcome your help in it if you'd like. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:34, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Favre1fan93, that was never the goal in my mind. That's somehting you and the others thought of after I made the first article. They're not the same thing at all nor are they produced together like a series. Cramming them into the same article is not helpful in my opinion (I'm pretty sure I have already expressed this when it came up the first time). There is nothing wrong with having short articles for subjects when they're still notable and have coverage. I won't stop you if you get a consensus but I don't agree that it's the right decision.★Trekker (talk) 09:53, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Have to admit to be fair though that your sandbox is very well made as of now Favre1fan93. It gives a ood overwiew. I'd almost say I think it would be nice to have all four, but I'm sure no one else would agree with me on that.★Trekker (talk) 10:15, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think this is worth adding somewhere?★Trekker (talk) 10:38, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If we can get one really great article (for length and content) over three super small stubs, I think that is the way to go. Yes, they weren't a "series" but they still acted like one as they all revolved around the same concept. So I still think that the ultimate end goal. As for the link, no I don't think that's anything to mention. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:46, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This is also the issue that just came up, and probably will continue to come up given there really isn't much info out there for the remaining shorts outside the first. And having the plot with a couple of reviews isn't really great either. So, really, a singular article for all three really is the best way to go with what we've got to work with. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 01:09, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not really. I just havn't used the sources I've collected yet to expand the reception section. But there's really no point now anyway.★Trekker (talk) 01:18, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:List of One Piece episodes (season 1)#Requested move 18 January 2019. Peter Parker (Marvel Cinematic Universe)

You might want to take a look at this: Peter Parker (Marvel Cinematic Universe). You did an early redirect on this title, sending it Spider-Man in film. I agree with that but got in a little re-re-redirect tussle with someone who is trying to expand the article. Note that I attempted to nominate the article for deletion but the automatic process for that is not working today. In any case, you might be more familiar with the recent movies than myself so consider taking action. Thanks. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:12, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I guess I could do that SergeWoodzing, but I am ok with just using my regular email right now if you feel its important to have done right now, since it will likely take some time for me to make a new account. Great job on c-d navs

Hi, *Treker, just wanted to say thank you, and great job on creating and expanding the two new navigation templates about Cross-dressing. A minor point: the convention is, that when two nav templates for topic Foo exist, one each for footer and sidebar page positions, the footer gets the unmarked name (Template:Foo), and the sidebar gets named Template:Foo sidebar. The names of the templates you created could be swapped using a modified version of a round-robin move, but you need page-mover privilege to complete it. You've been around for a while; you might consider requesting page-mover status for yourself, you might get it. Otherwise, I can carry out the move if you prefer; let me know if you'd like me to do it. Once again, well done, and thanks! Mathglot (talk) 22:34, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a bunch Mathglot! I would love if you could move it, if you don't mind, since I'm going to be away for the next couple of hours. :)★Trekker (talk) 23:10, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
On further examination, there's a problem which complicates the moves: after seeing the new footer nav template, I assumed you had created the sidebar as well, but I see now that the sidebar already exists, and has for some time. The key point being, that many articles already transclude the sidebar, and renames at this point would break those transclusions. The swap is still doable (by pointing all the existing articles at a redirect, then doing the moves, then repointing the redirect), and I'd prefer to see it done at some point, but it's a lot more work than I had originally imagined when I thought both templates were created today. So, I'm going to leave it be, for now. It's not the worst thing in the world if the template names remain as they are, although it's a bit non-standard and might confuse some people. If you want to take on the renames yourself, I'd recommend requesting page-mover status, and then I can talk you through it. Mathglot (talk) 23:50, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fights

Never do that again, as you did on Dragon Ball: Origins 2 in navboxs, do that again and I will be mad at you.

OP media

Well in the main One Piece article itself "Theme park and other establishments" is under media section and I think it should be listed in List of One Piece media since its part of One Piece media franchise, we can make an another main section called "other" to list these kinda things so everything related to one piece will be under one umbrella(list) --Wiki KuthiVaiyans (talk) 14:14, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki KuthiVaiyans I don't think it's right to list them under "media" in the main One Piece article either. I don't know what would be best but I don't think that theme park ereas is really a "sinle product" so to say. It's a continious event more like.★Trekker (talk) 14:18, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh okay, I was just wondering where we can include all these events/establishments(Japanese wiki) and does that media franchise info box belong there, I feel like one piece needs separate articles for that, like how dragon ball has
Dragon Ball (Media franchise), Dragon Ball (manga), anime articles Dragon Ball (disambiguation) and thanks for the barnstar --Wiki KuthiVaiyans (talk) 15:34, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hum Wiki KuthiVaiyans, we would need a discussion if we were to split the One Piece main article into three. I say contact the Wiki Anime and Manga project. As for the list in Japansese, I can't really tell what that is....★Trekker (talk) 15:37, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That's a brief list of all One Piece related attractions, exhibitions, events/shows in Universal studios japan, straw hats stores, restaurants, theme parks etc(used google translate). In this Pokemon article, theme park is under Miscellaneous and that infobox also gives option for toys and attractions which really is not media. so yeah can we just make a section like Miscellaneous and include those? It would be good if all of them are in one list --Wiki KuthiVaiyans (talk) 16:15, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I guess. Go ahead if you want to, but I do wonder if maybe the list risks becoming too long eventually, but that's a problem for another day.★Trekker (talk) 17:49, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, If it become too long and seem unnecessary, we will remove it or move. Thank you. --Wiki KuthiVaiyans (talk) 18:36, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really need to enter both japanese title and romaji ? --Wiki KuthiVaiyans (talk) 02:19, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's how it's usually done.★Trekker (talk) 03:11, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

So that's where Hamlet got the skull

Hello! You may or may not know that the Phantom and Shakespeare has a connection [2][3][4], though pretty much any story that goes on for that long will have a Shakespeare-connection (Star Trek has a ton, I'm thinking about making an article on it). Anyway, I'm thinking of adding this to WP somewhere, perhaps Romeo_and_Juliet#Literature_and_art. But that would require some really good sources. If you can find any, please tell me. SSM template

Hi Treker,

I removed most of the Tribal links from the Template:Same-sex unions in the United States, because the point of a navigation template is to help people navigate WP articles, and those links didn't do that. Worse, finding that none of those links worked might discourage people from finding the ones that do -- how could they tell the difference? I did create one relevant article (for Navajo), so I left that one. (Please help if you know of any info I wasn't able to find!) The category of redirects is a good idea, though, so that we don't end up with duplicate articles under different names (e.g. with and without "the").

Friday the 13th

There is a link to the Nightmare franchise already in the Friday the 13th template, under "related pages". We don't need the Nightmare template. It's not really appropriate as the link is really just one film.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:16, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

*It's common practise to do that with crossover franchises. See: Alien and Predator templates. Also, I added them both because the article were already linked in the navboxes.★Trekker (talk) 14:40, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First, people need to stop citing "common practice" when it's something that a small group has done and no one has bothered to address it. You only need the link to the franchise in the template. You don't need, nor is it appropriate, to have a template for every film in the Nightmare franchise, because that franchise individually is not relevant on each other's pages.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:44, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Re: Navboxes must be bidirectional, this really isn't an option and something you should know since you've been on this site longer than me. Either remove the links form the template or the templates stay in the articles.★Trekker (talk) 16:16, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm good with removing the link as well, because again the "link" of the franchise is based on a single film. To me, it's like trying to include Mortal Kombat in the nav box like it's related. It isn't. They had a single film and a comic book sequel to the film. You don't even need a "see also" because the Nightmare franchise is already mentioned and linked on the F13 franchise page (and vice versa).  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 20:22, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Re: Then you can remove them from both navboxes, but be prepared that I have a feeling they're going to be added back by some fan since they're prone to that kinda stuff.★Trekker (talk) 20:24, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done, and you're right. It probably will and will probably result in having to have a discussion on one (both) of their template talk pages as to why the respective franchises are not directly related to each other.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 20:27, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Olsen-banden Junior

Greetings and felicitations. I noticed that you recently edited Olsen-banden Junior. Unfortunately, these edits left five references hanging in the "Reception" section without apparently supporting any statements. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. That's how English works, if the sources are ignoring it they're just being lazy.★Trekker (talk) 04:52, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
More like that's a lazy answer... As you are unable to find evidence to support your claim, and WP and other sources support mine, I am going to revert now. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 08:42, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not my problem that people use poor English. Also, you already said several times that you would revert me, I'm not interested in edit warring so do whatever you want, no need to repeat it over again.★Trekker (talk) 09:27, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT slang

I recall you created the LGBT-slur-list page, invited me to contribute, then announced your frustration with that page's direction. I'd like to make sure you're aware of similar page, LGBT slang, that hopefully may avoid similar problems. Thank you, A145GI15I95 (talk) 20:45, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This edit from 21:47, 5 April 2017 was quite funny. You linked to Mary Janes which is a type of shoe rather than to Mary Jane Watson. Was poor Spider-Man really married to footwear? This mistake has appeared in the article for two years which makes it even funnier.
