The '''lone District of Dasmariñas City''' is the representation of [[Dasmariñas City]] in the [[Philippine House of Representatives]]. It was part of the representation of [[Legislative districts of Cavite|Cavite]] until 2010. It is also known as the [[Legislative districts of Cavite#4th District|'''4th district of Cavit'''e]] . Republic Act 9723 and Republic Act 9727 created this district. The lone District of Dasmariñas City is the representation of Dasmariñas City in the Philippine House of Representatives. It was part of the representation of Cavite until 2010. It is also known as the 4th district of Cavite . Republic Act 9723 and Republic Act 9727 created this district. The passage of Republic Act 9727 reapportion the province of Cavite into 7 districts making Dasmariñas as its only municipality in the forth district. However the passage of Republic Act 9723(Dasmariñas City Charter) converted the municipality of Dasmariñas into a component city and Section 64 of this Republic Act as a lone district. It was passed last October 15, 2009 by the president of the Republic of the Philippines and ratified by the registered voters of Dasmariñas through a plebiscite conducted last November 25, 2009.
